Mate Unlikely

He drove his car, sighing. He couldn’t believe he were going back to the pack house. Not that he had to but when his brother called he felt the need to do so. Darren being the true alpha had given the title to his younger brother a few years ago. Mostly because his brother had found his mate and he had not. The pack needed a queen. He himself had given up. Recently he had his thirty second birthday. Now he had just given up. Most werewolf found there mate right after they turned twenty but not Darren. He had given up once he passed thirty but most stopped looking after twenty five. 

He was returning to the pack again. After a year abroad. He would spend sometime there before he moved to the old house. It was the place all werewolf’s retired to when they reached a certain age, lost their mate or just never found one. One of his favorite songs started playing on the radio so he turned up the volume. Driving a little faster on the small road he now entered.  

He was about an hour away from the pack house. He kept thinking about leaving. Actually retiring and go live in the old house. He knew he would be restless if he did that. Being on the road so much lately had been good for him. The reason he had started travel, was to find his mate but now he enjoyed it. All the city's and different sightings. Being the true alpha he still had some funds so he had actually focused on a career the last few years. Owning three nightclubs and four hotels he had it good. Turning down the volume when his song ended. Stepping on the gas a bit more. 

A few weeks earlier at the house Kevin sat in his office by his desk. Looking at the person sitting across from him. The guy in the other seat seemed nervous. He displayed a stiff smile. Rather thin to be a wolf, Kevin thought. He was sort had stripy long hair. It was black and made his intense blue eye's pop. 

So why do you wanna join this pack Kevin asked. 

The little guy looked at him a little scared, but spoke. 

I just need to learn to be a better werewolf He answered. 

Kevin sighed not really sure. They had never had an Amega in the pack before. Amega's being rare creatures and often picked on. Even killed sometimes. Had he been an ordinary Omega he would have let him in at once. Omega's often being females and much weaker then the rest usually serviced the others. Cleaning and cocking. This guy sitting here was different, Amega's were tricky. They were Omegas with the strength of an Alpha. Kevin knew he had to make the call.

“I will let you stay on a trail basis” Kevin said waving his hand. 

The little guy stood up and bowed. 

“Thank you so much” He replied and left the room. 

Kevin lifted up the phone to make the call. His brother answered rather fast. Not saying much they both soon hung up. Stretching his arms over his head, he took a deep breath. I really hated to drag his brother home. Kevin knew he was a good alpha but not being trained for it he still needed his brothers help with somethings. Darren was the true Alpha, even so Darren never made him feel undeserving of the position. He often felt sorry for his brother. Knowing how much it would hurt if he had not meet his mate. Kevin had turned twenty five this year and had been happy with his mate for almost four years. It was two years ago that Darren gave him the Alpha role. 

The little guy we just meet was named Jamie, he had left the office following the other wolf up the stairs. It was a big house most of the pack members probably lived here. 

“So this is your room” He said opening one of the doors.

“Thanks” Jamie replied.

Suddenly feeling a hand grabbing his t-shirt. The person that had showed him up pulled him up towards his face. 

“If you think that you will be staying here, you are so wrong. Something as unholy as you should be killed” he said and threw Jamie down on the floor. He smirked and left. 

Jamie could feel the tears forming but he pushed them back. He just wanted to get a chance to learn something. He had never intended to stay here. He knew what he was and he knew he could have killed that guy if he wanted to. He may have looked small and thin but he was strong. He stood up an closed the door. 

The next day turned out to be just as bad. The Beta wolf and two of the Gammas shoved him around. Telling him what a freak he was. Jamie did not do anything he just took it. He knew if he did something now his trail period would be over and he would have to leave. He felt a fist hit him right in the gut. Falling to the ground. 

“There's the right place for you” One of the Gamma wolf said. 

“On the ground” The other Gamma continued. 

The Beta named Joel grabbed Jamie by the chin. 

“You know your rather cute even if you are a freak” he said. 

Kevin came out just in time. Growling towards them forcing them to stop. He ordered them to go away then went back inside. Jamie was left there feeling the pain in his stomach. Trying to stand he staggered as he went inside up to his room. The door closed behind him and he felt a hand covering his mouth. Joel stood behind him. 

“Don't think for one second that your safe” He whispered in his ear. 

He let Jamie go and rammed his fist right in the eye when Jamie turned to face him. He fell on to the bed, with Joel on top of him. He pressed Jamie’s face down into the pillows Jamie did not dare to struggle. He wanted so to stay here. Panicking when he felt Joel's hard bulge pressing against his buttocks. 

“I should take you right now” He said. 

“I know your not twenty yet so I should take you before you find a mate. You will be defiled. No woman nor man would want you” He continued leaning closer to my ear. 

Jamie was terrified, tears falling. Felt the loosing grip he noticed that he shook. He heard Joel speaking. Not yet, I'm not done having my fun. I know that your birthday is in three days so I will wait until then. He left Jamie crying and scared. He rushed up to lock his door. Breathing heavily walking towards the mirror, trying to calm down. His eye already turning red, good thing all the room and mini fridges. He took out a frozen stake, putting it on the swelling. He fell asleep with it in his hand.  

Joel had not lied, he was not done. The gammas used him as a plaything during practice. Claws out ripping at Jamie’s flesh. The alpha had stopped some of it but he was busy most of the time. Now down on his knees Jamie looked up and meet a fist. 

“Did I tell you to look up” Joel said. 

Jamie just shook his head.

“Now lick my feet clean” Joel said as he took of his shoes

Jamie did what he was told, feeling a slap when he started crying. Stop crying. He tried and kept on licking. The day soon at an end, he stood in the shower. The water fell masking his tears, dreading and longing for his birthday. He hoped he would find his mate at once but at the same time feared if he didn’t Joel would most likely force himself on him. After his shower he looked in the mirror, seeing the bruise had started to fade. It still hurt. If he had not been a wolf it would only be in the first stages. He sighed not knowing what would happen.

His birthday came. 

Darren could see the house, soon driving up the driveway to park. He was meet with a huge hug by his brother. He hugged him back almost lifting his younger brother. They laughed not having seen each other for a long time, yes they spoke on the phone often but it wasn’t the same. They walked to the office. Kevin taking his seat behind the desk. Darren sat in one of the armchairs on the other side of it. 

“So why did I have to come” Darren asked. 

Kevin filled him in on the situation, that an Amega had asked to stay here. Not joining more to study. He wanted to learn being a real werewolf. Darren scratched his head, not sure about the whole thing. Having an Amega here could be hard. He said he should at least meet the guy before making a decision. Kevin called out to Jamie, they both heard running footsteps coming down the stairs. Jamie came through the door. 

“Yes, what can I do for you?” He asked. 

Darren stood up and turned seeing Jamie. About to introduce them to one and the other, Kevin was cut of by Darren. 

“He can stay”
