Magic Moonlight

Kent, England, 5 days ago

18-year-old Parker Abrams sat on his roof while his parents fought in the kitchen. He looked up at the blue night sky as the sun was beginning to fade. His ocean eyes gazing at the stars, his ivory skin luminating from the moonlight, his red hair like fire to the night. He rotated his right index finger to mix his tea, herbal of course. He closed his ocean eyes and wished.

“I long for adventure, love, and happiness. I wish for a love that I can never hurt and for a lover who can never hurt me. I wish for this dream of person to be strong, willful, and compassionate. This person will be driven by love and will want to protect me from the dangers of this world. I compel the elements to bring me on this path and to make my dream of love come true.” He stated with his cockney accent.

Ahh

Ahh

Parker opened his blue eyes to turn around and gaze into his house. He saw his mother hit the floor, blood spewing from her body. His father ran to the window to shut it, locking Parker outside. His father was about to fire off a shot when he too was pounced to the floor, blood coloring their yellow kitchen pure red. A massacre occurred in Parker Abrams home. Getting close to the window, Parker saw a figure covered in fur. A werewolf. The beast looked to stare in Parker’s direction. It smiled, before scurrying off out of the house.

Parker opened the window with a flick of his right index finger, moving slowly as he entered. His mom lay on the floor, chest ripped open, blood gushing from her mouth. On the opposite side was his father, mouth ripped off completely. All that remained was a single piece of hair from the beast the killed his family. Parker grabbed the hair and licked it.

“By all the elements combined, show me to the beast!”

Wysteria Lake, Maine. Present Day.

Parker Abrams, dressed in a red cloak that matched his hair, had entered Wysteria Lake. He hated the air upon arrival and could feel the presence of something sinister. He glanced at the civilians of the town, thinking how inept they must be to not know what monsters lay hidden in this town. Parker was brought here by the hair of the beast that killed his family.

“Reveal.” Parker spoke in a whisper as he placed a spell.

The spell traveled fast through the town, making all the werewolves in town shift from their human form to their wolf form. Their body’s changing rapidly, almost exposing their secret of existence. Parker did not care.

Seeing some of the men flee into the woods, Parker followed suit. He walked through the woods, the mid-day mist still covering the moist woods. Parker wasn’t alone as he followed the wolves through the trees, he was being hunted.

“Easy prey.”, said the werewolf, his eyes red like blood.

As he went to pounce with full force, he was suddenly stopped mid-air. The wolf moved his head quickly, unsure of what was happening. His arms were spread apart, as were his legs, and he was levitating in the air. Soon the wolf began to revert to his original form. With a shiny head, a dark goatee, pale skin, and a muscular frame, was Hector. His eyes still red as blood. He was in his human form and he was stuck in the air.

“I’m not scared of the big bad wolf.” Said the voice below him.

Parker removed his red cloak, to expose his ivory freckled face to Hector, his ocean eyes staring at Hector’s blood red eyes.

“Let go of me!” Hector commanded.

“I don’t think that possible.” Parker said with a grin, as he began to stretch Hectors limbs apart.

“Fuck! Stop it!” He yelled, as his body felt like it was getting ripped apart.

“You don’t scare me beast, none of you do. And if you were the creature that murdered my family, I would have already ended you. But instead, I think you need a reminder of not to attack all prey you think is prey.” Parker said, as his ocean eyes began to light up.

“Dear God.” Hector whispered.

The spell was long and intolerable. Hector dangled in the air, his body naked, as he twitched and convulsed in pain. The curse of the werewolf was leaving his body, as Parker moved his fingers in unison, drawing the curse out of Hectors body.

“And now, you will never have the chance to feel like the hunter again. You will be the prey from now, until the end of time.” With those magical words, Hector was flung into the woods, and not seen of again.

The Lorenzo home.

Outside his home, Skylar had sent the other young cubs home. They finally transformed into their human selves. Skylar transformed into his human form as well, putting on some black shorts to cover himself up. With his mom, Selma, going back inside to cook dinner, Skylar watched outside his home, getting a whiff of an unfamiliar scent.

In the distance a figure draped in red approached the Lorenzo home. His eyes, glowing blue. Parker removed his cloak again, and dressed in all black, approached Skylar near his house.

“Are you the clan leader?” Parker asked, sizing up Skylar.

“I am.” Skylar replied with a stern voice, unsure of why he couldn’t get a good scent from the man.

“I’ve come to your little Hamlet hoping to find the wolf that this piece of hair belongs too.” Parker admitted as he waved his right index finger to show the hair follicle to Skylar.

“A witch!” Skylar said, taken aback by the slender young man standing in front of him.

“I thought that would have been obvious seeing as my eyes are glowing still. Sometimes my magic overloads my senses, so they tend to glow longer than I want.” Parker said chuckling at himself for babbling.

Skylar’s eyes turned yellow. His nails began to sharpen. He knew that this was the spell caster that made his pack convert to their wolf like selves.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Parker threatened, ready to cast a spell.

“You could have fucked everything up here for a lot of people. You have some nerve even coming here witch! What do you want?!” Skylar yelled, his body growing in size.

“Like I said I’ve come to find the beast this hair belongs too. It killed my family and I want revenge. This hair brought me here, so the beast is hiding somewhere among you and I want to find it.”

“Skylar, dinner is ready.” Selma said as she walked out the door. The hair follicle lit up and moved towards her.

Parker looked at Skylar and then at Selma. Her eyes gazed at Parkers. He was ready to kill her. She must’ve been the wolf that killed his family, the spell had confirmed it.

“You…bitch!” Parker shouted, as he began to levitate in the air.

“Mama, run!” Skylar yelled, as he transformed and tackled the levitating witch to the ground.

Into the woods Selma ran, not once looking behind her. In front of the Lorenzo home was Parker, his eyes glowing blue, and Skylar, his eyes yellow and his body transformed into his werewolf self.

“Revert form!” Parker yelled as he made some movements with his hands

The spell had no effect. Parker said the spell again and moved his hands with a bit more energy. The spell had no effect. Parker looked at his hands and was unsure why the spell was not working. Skylar went in for a quick death blow. Parker closed his eyes, surprised by the attack.

Slam

Parker lay on the soil covered ground, the beast standing over him. Skylar looked deep into the blue eyes that looked up at him in fear. Skylar, mad with rage, was still unable to kill the witch. Parker looked into the yellow eyes that stared back at him. Parker knew what was going on.

“I wished for you.” Parker whispered as he kissed the snout of the ginormous werewolf, as Skylar began to revert to his human form. Skylar completed the kiss too in his human form.
