Goin' for Goldberg

   Four o'clock came and I decided to get ready. The hot hunk of maleness would be here in a bit. I ran into the shower and turned on the water. The phone rang. 

"Hello"? I asked "Hey Omar, It's Tina" "Hi T' what's up?" I said back. "I just spoke to Johanna and she said you have a date with that wrestler guy you like" "Yeah, actually I do. But it's not a date" I responded. "How did you manage that?" She asked. "I saw him at the aids thing this morning, and we struck up a conversation. Then he just invited me to dinner" 

There was a pause on the line by her. Then she asked the obvious queation. Knowing I had mentioned the undesirable things he had said before. 

"But I thought you said..." She started. "I thought so too. But seems the rumors were false" "Do you want us to meet you there. Just to make sure he's not a creep?" She suggested. "Nah its okay" I said. 

Then I paused in the conversation. Then suggested he may be a creep. Even if I was willing to risk my safety over this hot man. 

"But if you see that I died in the morning, you know who to blame" "Okay then. So where are you goin?" She asked. "Queen Mary" "Whoa, nice" She replied. "Just be careful, okay?" "Yeah of course. Look I gotta go he'll be here at 6. So I need to get ready" "Okay then. I'll talk to ya later tonight. Okay?" "Okay" I said. 

Then  I hung up. I decided to take a bath. So I filled the tub with bath salts and stepped in. Ani came in and lay next to the tub. I stroked her as I lay there. I went over in my mind the best and worst possible scenarios for the evening. Going back to the worst all the time. Then I heard the doorbell ring. I reached for my watch. It was 5:20. 

"Shit who could that be?" I called out from the bathroom. "Just a minute. I'll be right there" I quickly grabbed a towel and stepped out the tub. I rushed to the door. "Who is it?" I asked. "Hi Omar. It's Bill. I know I'm early but..." He started to say. "Fuck" I said to myself. "Uh. Can you give me a minute, I was in the tub" I said. "Sure" He answered. 

I grabbed Ani and put her outside. Opening the back door to the enclosed porch in back  "Sorry baby, you need to stay outside for a while, okay?" 

I ran back inside and unlocked the door and ran back towards the bedroom. 

"The doors open. Come on in" I yelled. I heard him come in. "Just sit down. I'll be right out" I called out. "Okay" He answered. "Help yourself to a drink" I suggested. "I Have beer in the fridge" "Thanks" He said. Then I heard him say. "Nice place you have here" 

'Shit' I hadn't cleaned the house. Then I heard Ani barking. 

"Hey do you have a dog?" He asked. "Can I see him? I really love animals" 

I came out with a t-shirt and some jeans. I was still drying off my hair. He was standing there with a beer in his hand. He looked gorgeous. He had on a blue shirt over some black slacks. He looked so dashing, the shirt bringing out the blue in his eyes. 

"Wow" Was all I could say. I could smell the scent of a musky cologne on him. "You like?" He asked. I just nodded at him. "I'm sorry to catch you in the bath" He said but since I was so close. I figured..." "Oh that's okay" I exclaimed. "I had been laying in there for a while" 

I remembered him saying he liked dogs. I pondered getting the dog but feared she would be a pain. 

"I'd show you Ani, but I don't want her to jump all over you" I mentioned. "She can be a bit hyper around new people. And she would get you dirty" "Okay" He said. "I understand. Maybe Later?" "Sorry the place is a mess" I said. "I didn't have time to straighten up" "Oh its fine. It's a real cute place" He said. 

"Yeah. It's a quaint little house. It has 2 bedrooms, fairly small rooms over all, but it has a nice back yard for Ani to run around in. It's all that's left of my last relationship. I have been wanting to move. But I really like this little house. Besides it will be years before I finish paying for her." I added

He mentioned that he had a house in West Palm Beach Florida. He asked if I had ever been there. I mentioned my mom retired to Florida, so did go there once in a while. He looked at me and smiled again. I looked at the clock and noticed it was getting late. 

"Look let me finish getting dressed and we can go" I stated.

I grabbed a dress shirt and some slacks and quickly dressed. When I got out to the other room. he looked at me intently. 

"Very nice. But come here a sec." He said.  I came closer. "Turn around, your collars crooked" I reached for it. He grabbed at my hand. "Let me" He said. 

I felt his big hands near my neck. He adjusted my shirt and turned me around. I was so close to him now. His smell was intoxicating. He placed his hands on my shoulders. 

"There that's better. Now you look hot"  He added

I grabbed my keys and we left. I looked to see he had a big luxury sedan, a rental of course. We got in and drove off. I looked over at him, he was more handsome than I ever imagined. I was pretty quiet the rest of the way sitting away from him. He would look over at me now and then and those eyes would sparkle at me. I was finding it hard to believe that I was sitting next to the hunk of my dreams. He reached over and placed his hand on mine and gently squeezed. I trembled under him. We got to the restaurant and we were seated outside. With no one else there but us. `God how romantic' I thought.  

We ordered and sat there drinking some wine. He kept looking at me from the rim of his glass.  He blew a tiny kiss at me. My face went flush. We talked some about his home in Florida his dogs, Sasha and Betty, his cat Sherm and his views taking care of the animals. How man kind of abuses them for his own needs. I of course completely agreed with him. He asked about my dog Ani. How he wanted to meet her. 

"Would you mind my coming in to see her when I drop you off later?" He asked. "Of course not. I would love for you to meet her." " Just hope she likes you" I said.  "Ever since my ex, Ani hasn't trusted too many people around me" "That's good" He said. "She's protecting her daddy."  

We talked a little more before we finished eating. Then shortly thereafter left, Goldberg insisting on paying for the tab. When he drove me home he confessed that he was interested in me. 

"Who me" I said. "How could you Bill. I'm not special. I'm pretty plain if you really need to know" "That's what makes you special." He answered. "You have a beautiful heart Omar" "Everyone else that I have been near has had some ulterior motive." He continued. "I sensed it from the first moment I saw you" "Besides I think it was cute how you were so nervous around me" 

We got up and left. Then he asked if we would mind stopping at the Hotel so he could change.  We arrived at the hotel. Went straight up to his room '1039'. I sat down in the chair near the window. He wanted to change into something more casual. I could see the Queen Mary from my vantage. 

"She's really a beautiful sight, isn't she." He said as he came out of the bathroom shirtless. 

My eyes widened as I gazed at his awesome body. I felt my breath stop as i gazed at the man and his spectacular form. Crouching next to me, oh so close, I could smell him as he was only a few inches from me now, that scent of cologne plus the hint of his own smell. It was so intoxicating.  His body was awesome. He hadn't shaved his chest like he normally does. The fur on him was perfect. I wanted to reach out and kiss him. But I continued to look out the window. He changed into a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I stared at his incredible ass as he bent down to reach for something on the bed.  

When he finished he said. "Let's go man" And we did

We arrived at my place. I gave Bill a quick tour, when bounding in from the back was my baby. She barked at first. I figured she would. She does that to everyone. But when she came close to Goldberg, she softened. 

"Ani this is Bill, Bill this is my baby" "Hey there precious" He said. 

He put out his hand to her. She came close. Smelled him and started to wag her tail. She came up to let him pet her. 

"Wow Bill you certainly have a way with her. She never greets any new person this way" "Dogs know if you mean them harm, or have ill intent" He said. "You are such a good girl, aren't you?" He exclaimed as he rubbed her. She was so excited by him. 

"Do you want something to drink." I asked. "Wine is fine." He said. 

As I came back Ani had nuzzled into Goldberg. Then abruptly shoved her face in his crotch. "Ani" I shouted. "Bad girl" "It's okay" He replied. "It's happened before." Then he looked down at her. "Now Ani. That's not for you to play with. I'm saving that for daddy" 

I dropped one of the glasses I was holding. "Shit" I yelled. "You okay over there?" 

He asked. He had that sly smirk on his handsome face again. I ran to get a towel to clean up the mess. I cleaned it up. Happy the glass didn't break.  I finally gave him the wine. He sat down on the sofa. 

"This is a nice place you have Omar, really" "Thanks." I sat down on the chair. Because Ani was lying on Goldberg's lap. "Hey you come over here." He said. "Sit next to me." "Nah its okay. Ani looks real comfortable on your lap though. She likes you" I said. "I'd rather have you sit next to me" He said.  

I complied and moved next to him. 

"Ani get up girl" I ordered. 

She reluctantly got up. And sat down on the other chair. I sat down about a foot away from him. 

"She's a great dog" he said. "Yeah." I responded. "I was so worried when I went away that she wasn't going to be taken care of right." "You know how it is" "Yeah I do." He said. 

He moved in close to me now. Placed his hand on my cheek and pulled me toward him. 

"You're a wonderful daddy to her." His big hand caressed my cheek.  "I think you are wonderful Omar." 

With that he moved in to kiss me. His lips touched mine. My eyes closed and I pressed to meet his lips. I could smell him all around me as he wrapped his arms around and squeezed me in his embrace. His tongue pressed into my mouth, and I tasted him. He was like liquid electricity. My hands responded to him as I tried to caress and rub his big back. When he finally pulled away from me, the words just slipped out of my mouth. 

"I want you Goldberg."
