As happened over the years my nips has proven to be a talking point amongst some acquaintances and also an ice breaker with complete strangers of both genders.

There was a time whenever in hot climates I was conscious about my protruding nips and wore multi coloured or black tops to negate their prominence.

But I got be more confident when you heard comments like

"Nipples look great"

"are they real?"

"I'm jealous"

" its unfair"

"Can I touch them"

But I will stick to male side for this anecdote that occurred in Jamaica.

From time to time since childhood I would head to natural mineral bath for relaxation.

This mineral bath is renowned for its healing properties and revitalizing your body and thus quite popular with patrons especially on public holidays.

So in 2016 a mate and I jumped in my car and headed to the mineral bath early one Sunday morning before the crowds swamp the place.

Relaxing and swimming in the river was just perfect. But I noticed this young dreadlocks guy kept staring in my direction as if he knew me from somewhere.

Didn't think much of it then but after getting dressed and chilling by one of the mini bars the guy came up asked if I had a minute.

"Elda (that's how some  young men address older men they don't know), you titty dem look wicked"

"Really?"

"Yes, daddy (I'm not his frigging father!)"

"Respect. Was that why you were staring my direction?"

He nodded.

"I get that comment more often than not. Bless up"

That was it.

No sex or body contact

A simple complimentary comment about my nips in public in Jamaica by a male admirer.

Made my day.

We've come a long way.
