Chapter 2

Adam

Moving in with Bennie was working out great, it had only been a few months but, I already couldn’t imagine my life without him. Those few days he was in the hospital were pure torture. I knew if I kept him busy, he wouldn’t feel the need to go back to his hacking. He was a great help at the agency and with his and Dallas’s help we were able to grow the business.

I was still trying to figure out how he talked me into getting that piercing, I have to admit it make feel a little bit sexier. Then the whole no underwear thing while getting fitted for our new suits, I would have never done anything like that before I met him. Again, I must admit that I was turned on by those two guys watching us. He really did add a bit of excitement to my life, and if I’m being honest, I didn’t hate it.

After I got the call from Dallas about the office being broken into, we rushed out the door trying to figure out why anyone would want to break in or what they might be looking for. We arrived at the office, Dallas and Heather were waiting next to one of the patrol cars, there was a uniformed officer at the front door as detectives were going in and out of the office. Dallas rushed over to me and gave me a hug, my calm even demeanor was in stark contrast to his panic mode. We worked well together because of our differences. Heather was wiping the tears from her eyes as Bennie was trying to comfort her as well. I asked Dallas to tell me what happened.

He said, “I saw the front door glass broken in and I looked inside and saw the mess and that was when I called you. The police just showed up and told Heather and I to stay out here until they had a chance to investigate. We’ve been waiting here since then.”

Bennie and I walked up to the window to look in, the place was a total mess, desk drawers pulled out, papers all over the place. A few minutes later another car pulled up and a tall good-looking guy stepped up to me.

He held his hand out, “Detective Berns, are you the owner?”

I shook his hand, “yes sir, Adam Edwards.”

Bennie stepped back from the window, as he saw me talking to the detective.

He ran over and gave him a hug, “Travis, it’s so good to see you.”

Travis returned the hug, “wow, Bennie it’s good to see you too. I heard you were on the wrong side of a 9MM, I’m glad to see up and around.”

Bennie chuckled, “yeah, you know me, it will take more than that to keep me down. So, what are doing here? I thought you were working cybercrimes.”

He nodded, “I was, but after the pandemic, the department was short on detectives. I wanted out of the basement and the money is better, so after a little more training I’m out on the streets.”

Bennie said, “that’s great.”

He smiled, “So, what are you doing here?”

Bennie took my hand, “Adam, Dallas and I are partners, this is our office.”

Travis raised his head, “business partners?” He noticed us holding hands.

Bennie pulled me tighter, “well yes, and also more, we are getting married.”

He smiled, “well, good for you Bennie, that’s great.” He patted Adam on the shoulder, “and good luck to you Adam. I’m going to go have the other officers fill me in, we will have some questions for all of you in few minutes.”

I looked at Bennie, “what was all that about, and why did he wish me good luck?”

Bennie gave me his best innocent face and said, “we went to college together, that’s all.”

I asked, “so did you date?”

He shrugged, “I wouldn’t really say we dated, it was more of a fuck buddy type of arrangement.”

I shook my head, “ok, we can talk about it later.”

Dallas and Heather joined us as Travis came back out of the office.

He said, “it looks like they were looking for something, do any of you know what that might be?”

I said, “no, we really don’t have anything in there that anyone would want.”

The others all nodded in agreement as we told Travis the nature of our business and who our client list consisted of. He jotted down notes as we talked to him.

He said, “they are searching for evidence and dusting for fingerprints now, it will probably be a couple hours. If you want, you can go ahead and call someone to fix the broken window, we already have the door dusted. Once they are finished, we will want you to go through everything to make sure it wasn’t a robbery. We’ll need a complete inventory, I can call you as soon as we are done, and you can go inside.”

I gave him my number and he gave his card, I said, “we can all go back our house and start to make a list.”

Travis said, “that would be a good idea, it will allow us to do our work, I’ll call as soon as I can. It was good to see you again Bennie.”

Bennie smiled, “yeah, good to see you too Travis, thanks.”

We all went to my car and headed back to the house, Bennie found a glass company to come fix the front door. Once we were back home, Heather made us a pot of coffee and we sat around the table making a list of all the items we could think of in the office. We also tried to think of any reason anyone would want to break into the office and what they might be looking for.

I got a call from Travis telling me that they were done in the office, and we could go back and start the cleanup if we wanted. They still may have some follow up questions later.

We arrived back at the office as the glass company pulled up, they started to work on the door and the uniformed officer that was standing guard left. We all went inside and started to assess the mess.

Heather sighed, “where do we start?”

Dallas gave her a hug, “let’s get all the papers off the floor and desk drawers back in first, we can sort through them after that.”

I said, “that’s a good plan, let’s clear the floor first.

We all worked the rest of the afternoon and by the end of the day had all the furniture back in place. We still had all the papers to sort through, but it was a good start. So far, we couldn’t find anything that was missing, so it was looking less and less like a robbery. What the hell were they looking for?

Dallas asked Bennie, “so you know that Detective Berns?”

Bennie eyed Dallas suspiciously, “Travis? Yes, we went to college together. Why?”

Dallas shrugged, “I don’t know, I was just curious that’s all.”

Heather smiled, “he sure is a cutie.” She giggled and blushed.

Bennie laughed, “sorry Heather, but unless he switched teams since college, Dallas has a better chance with him than you do.”

She shook her head, “dang it, why are guys like him either already married or gay?”

I looked at Dallas, he had a silly grin on his face as he said, “hmm.”

I stood up, “ok, how about we call it a day, this mess will still be here in the morning, go home and get some rest.”

We all said our goodbyes and headed out the door. Once again, on our drive home, Bennie and I were still trying to figure out why anyone would want to break into our office.

We were sitting on the couch, Bennie’s head on my chest and my arms around him. I was stroking his hair.

I said, “so, tell me a little bit more about you and Travis Berns.”

Bennie rolled his eyes, “I knew this was coming. What do you want to know?”

I asked, “how serious was it? Heather and Dallas are right, he is pretty hot.”

Bennie smiled, “oh, you are so cute when you are jealous.”

I gave him a look, “you are avoiding the question.”

He sighed, “fine, I told you we were just friends with benefits, we were 18- to 20-year-olds, he has a really big dick by the way, neither of us were looking for our soul mate. Besides, Travis didn’t think I was boyfriend material.”

I chuckled, “so that’s why he told me good luck?”

“I guess, I think he said something about me and maturity, I don’t know, I wasn’t really listening.” Bennie told me.

I laughed, “you, immature? I find that shocking.”

He hit me in my tender nipple, “I have grown up a lot in the years since college.”

“Of course, you have sweetie, and you are still just as adorable.” I leaned down and gave him a tender kiss.

He smiled up at me, “actually I was just waiting for you to come along.”

I shook my head, “how do you always do that?”

He asked, “do what?”

I said, “I ask you about an old boyfriend, you tell me he has a big dick, and I am the one who is turned on.”

He grinned as he ran his hand across the pants that covered my hard cock, “well, I am adorable and charming, let’s go in the bedroom and I will take of this for you.” He pulled me up and lead me to the bedroom and stripped my clothes off me. I removed his clothes, and we were soon rolling around naked in our bed. Our lips, tongues and cocks began a wrestling match of their own. I flipped around so that we could both enjoy sucking and getting sucked, Bennie did know what I liked. His mouth soon found my hole and I was putty in his hands, he got me good and wet, and I was pulling my legs in the air. I gasped as he pushed his cock inside me, God I loved how he felt inside me. Bennie leaned forward and kissed me while he rammed my ass. We were locked in this position so long, my legs began to cramp up, just as I was needing to move, we both exploded, my gut was coated in hot, sticky cum, both inside and out. Bennie pulled out and I was able to let my legs down, He stayed on top of me, and we continued our making out until our lips were raw.

Bennie moved beside me and cuddled up to my side, rubbing his hands across my chest and stomach.

He said, “Travis may have a big dick, but he will never be as good as you are in bed.”

I asked, “oh, so now we’re comparing each other to former lovers? Did I ever tell you about…”

He stopped me, “no, I’m not comparing you to anyone, I never loved Travis, I do love you and I always will.”

I sighed, “quit being so adorable, you little ass, and I love you too.”

After another round of kisses, I asked, “so, do you think Dallas will go after Travis?”

Bennie chuckled, “I’m not sure, they might make a cute couple but, I think Heather might not be too happy about it, if it does happen.”

I nodded, “poor girl, she really does deserve a nice guy,”

He said, “yeah, she’s right all of us great guys are gay or married, or in our case, soon to be both.”

“Speaking of the wedding, My sister wants us to get together this week to talk about the guest list and the venue.” I told him.

Bennie rolled his eyes, “oh sure, wait until you have me all weakened from a hot sex session before you spring that on me.”

“I just remembered when you said that about us being married, sorry.” I explained.

He gave me a kiss, “I told you a hundred times, I don’t care about the wedding, I just want to be married to you, no matter how it happens.”

I gave him a peck on the cheek, “I know, I’ll invite her over Thursday night just to make her happy, and I will try to explain, once again, that we don’t want a big fancy wedding.”

I felt his dick harden as he rubbed it against my leg, it was time for round two.
