Twisted Families Review

Twisted Families is from the producers of MEN.com, and it offers their videos in the fauxcest niche. That includes stepfathers and stepsons fucking, stepbrothers getting it on together, and guys fucking around with a friend's father. MEN.com's "Stepfather's Secret" starring Dirk Caber and Johnny Rapid got the whole fauxcest ball rolling back in 2014 with Caber first watching his stepson showering, then joining him for some fun under the spray. Twisted Families opened in June 2019, and it's time to take a fresh look.

Most of the guys on the site are up-and-comers or established performers in Pornland. On the stepfather side you'll find men like Johnny Ford, Paul Wagner, Dirk Caber, Rafael Alencar, Billy Santoro, Colby Jansen, and retired performers like Adam West, Charlie Harding, and Dennis West. Silver fox Daniel from Sean Cody has done a few scenes, and gay porn star Mason Wyler came out of retirement and filmed his comeback scene here. They're often men in their thirties and forties, many hairy or bearded, but not always. On the stepson side you'll find guys like Ryan Bailey, Troye Dean, Joey Mills, Johnny Rapid, Trevor Spade, Scott Harbor, and Tyler Sweet; guys who look younger than the men playing in the role of their stepdads.

Fauxcest is the term given to sexual situations featuring guys who are almost related but not quite; for example, a man fucking his wife's son, so in other words, his stepson. But the scenes explore other risque scenarios like the "Son Swap" serial that sees men fucking the sons of their best friends. Each episode has a bit of a story line that gets us into the action, and they have fun titles like "My New Stepdad Is a Pervert," "Stepfather's Secret," "Big Bro," and "My Mom's New Husband," and they often run for multiple parts, although each episode is a complete scene.

But these days there's not as much fauxcest as there used to be. Many of the newest scenes are risque situations like a guy blowing his masseur and nearly getting caught by his boyfriend, or a guy sucking his roommate's cock while the guy's lover is asleep beside him, or a girl walking in on her boyfriend having sex with his buddy in the shower (she joins in), or a masturbator slowly realizing his roommate is watching him from the next bed. Of course, many of these still fall under the theme of taboo sex and family porn, but they fall outside of the traditional stepfather/stepson scenario.

Twisted Families now has 121 videos in the members area. They're offered in streaming MP4 format and play in an adaptive player at 1500x844, if you have a large monitor. If you're watching the videos on a mobile devices or a smaller monitor, the player adjusts to fit your screen size. Either way, the videos are high quality with good lighting and sound. You can also enlarge them to watch in full-screen mode, and the videos don't generally lose any quality. The site doesn't offer downloads, not even at an extra cost.

Twisted Families has added 63 videos in the past 22 months, but there's no set update schedule. Since the videos come from MEN.com, if there aren't any fauxcest releases there, then Twisted Families often doesn't update. So, for example, there were five updates in September 2022, one in October, three in November, nothing in December, and none so far in January 2023, which is odd since some of the latest updates are fauxcest situations.

The next major issue here is that TwistedFamilies requires you to upgrade your membership in order to see all the MEN.com content they're advertising inside the members area. So, after spending $29.99, they ask you to spend an additional $29.99 to upgrade your membership. They also require the upgrade in order to enjoy any of the TwistedFamilies picture galleries. I suggest that you don't join Twisted Families at all - simply sign up with MEN.com – it'll be cheaper, you'll get unlimited streaming access to 3,500+ videos, and you'll get three updates a week. It's a much better deal. 

There are some other issues. The most challenging thing about this site is the numerous upsells to get you to spend more money. There's a pre-selected offer on the billing page that appears in a drop-down menu, and while it's easy enough to opt out, it's also easy to overlook. However, you need to pay attention to this offer because it varies on the membership option you have selected: the two-day trial's cross sale is for three days, the seven-day trial's cross sale is for eight days, and the month and annual memberships have two-day cross sales. I've never seen this before, and it's a little sneaky. Those trial memberships also give you limited access; usually you can watch four videos before you need to upgrade to a full membership.

After logging in, you'll have to pass through a full-page ad offering more upsells. There are more banners inside as well as offerings on the top navigation bar for Channels and Networks. It's all easy to avoid once you're familiar with the site. Finally, once you log in you're hit with a pop-up on the members homepage to upgrade your membership to include MEN.com, and we've already talked about this.

Twisted Families falls short for me. If you're interested in the content, can live without picture galleries, and don't mind all the upsells, you'll find 121 videos in the members area to stream on your desktop and mobiles. However, exploring the site will prove frustrating due to the constant advertising to try and get you to join MEN.com. In fact, as I said earlier, you're better off joining MEN.com in the first place where you'll get full access to over 3,500 videos (including all the videos in this site), pictures galleries, and three weekly video updates. It's a better deal that gives access to all the Twisted Families videos, plus much more.
