Thug Vids offers hung and horny black studs and Latinos. The performers are a mix of slim to athletic men as well as some who are extra hot in the muscle department. The tops sport big black dicks and the bottoms have smooth and willing asses. There's a certain amount of urban street attitude in looks, clothing, and manner, and some have a certain amount of "thug" in their appearance, coming off as tough and hard. You're also in for a fair amount of smooth skin, as there aren't many hairy guys among the models, and they range in age from 18 to around their mid-thirties. Tall, dark and handsome, stocky, tough, and amateur, it's a nice mix of ebony and Latin guys in solos, hardcore and interracial movies, and there are some Blatino gangbang scenes for extra variety.

The action varies from scene to scene. In one, two hung guys stroking their dicks beside each other on the bed, like straight guys apparently do; in another scene, a smooth and fit ebony dude jerks off with his dark meat clenched firmly in his fist. Thug Vids offers 176 videos in MP4 format. Each download is offered in two sizes, the larger size of the most recent scenes was at 640x480, and there's a smaller version. The streaming player on the site is large on my 27-inch monitor (998x560), and since the videos are smaller, there are black bars on either side of the viewing area. I don't mind this since many sites enlarge the videos to fit the player and this results in quality loss. Full-screen viewing doesn't give good results of the many of the movies, as they're small and quality is generally average. Videos run for around 10 to 20 minutes. I found the videos looked good and played better in some respects on my mobiles.

There's only one video that doesn't have a picture set, so ThugVids has 175 galleries with low to average quality screencaps sized at 640x480. The pics can be downloaded individually or you can download full sets in zip files. There's no hands-free slideshows, but there are forward and back controls on the viewer to help you navigate from pic to pic. There are around 50 to 100 pictures per set.

I'm happy to report that this site still updates. On this visit, there are 66 more videos than there were over three years ago, and for months the site's been adding two updates per month, which is a good thing since previously they took some breaks between updates.

Let's talk about extras. When we last visited ThugVids they were a part of a 64-site network with over 8,900 videos. Since then, they have moved to the Massive Gay Pass network, which offers 38 bonus sites with 6,524 videos and around 30 updates per month. The bonus sites come in a variety of niches with various types of guys. There's another black site, Black Stud Vids, plus there's twink sites, Latin sites, sites offering Asian guys and more. You will find some men of color in videos on most of the other sites. Altogether I found 313 network videos when I searched for "black".

There are some things to watch out for. First, there are two pre-checked offers on the right side of billing page; look carefully because you could easily miss them. Trial members can only view the 12 "best" scenes in the network, whatever that means, so trial members may not be able to view any of the Thug Vids videos. By joining, you automatically agree to receive commercial emails, and you can't opt out until later. On the join page, it says that there are "five new videos added every week", but this refers to the network, not this site, and the network is actually updating more than that. There are two rows of thumbs on the bottom that are ads for live cams. Last, the quality of the videos isn't great. That's probably because they're scenes from DVDs, and many of them have been around for quite a while.

Thug Vids delivers a mix of ebony and Latin action. There are often well-hung black thugs and studs sucking cock and fucking including some interracial action. While updating has been haphazard in the past, the site is mostly on track now with monthly updates and sometimes twice monthly.
