StudsVR is the newest entry into the growing list of gay porn virtual reality sites. Offering horny men, mostly porn stars, and hardcore action, this site just launched. The men are in their twenties and thirties, all fit and attractive, and some quite well hung. For the most part they're familiar faces in the adult industry, mostly full-on porn stars including lean and athletic Jack Hunter, sexy bottom boy Casey Everett, hairy and tattooed Brendan Patrick, Aston Springs, slim and smooth Zak Bishop and newcomer and bottom Jason Wolfe. StudsVR launched with six exclusive videos in MP4 format and available for a variety of VR devices. There are two sizes of Oculus Rift videos, two resolutions for phones, a Playstation version and one for Samsung Gear VR, and you can also watch on Vive. Video quality is very good, the videos clear and well-lit. The videos are large, and sizes vary between 2880x1440, 2160x1080, 3600x1800 and 2160x1080, depending on your device and the size you choose. One thing to be aware of is that due to the large sizes, all the videos are over 2Gb, some over 4Gb, so if you're not on a speedy connection, downloading might take a while.

The videos are also available to stream on your device, also in MP4 format. I found that when I didn't feel like saving the videos, the streaming versions were a very good option. They're the same good quality as the downloads, and once I got the technical details sorted out, they played well and smoothly for me, and the VR worked perfectly. I also found my scolling wheel on my mouse allowed me to scroll in on the action. If you play the videos on your desktop computer, you can pull them left, right, up and down even if you're not watching on a VR headset. By the way, the videos are pretty long, clocking in at from 29 to over 40 minutes.

Each StudsVR video comes with a picture set. These are good to very good quality digital stills sized at 667x1000 or vise versa. You can download individual photos or save entire sets in zip sets, and hands-free slideshows are also available. While the videos are POV, some sets of pics show you the action non-POV, which means you sometimes get to see the second performer in the scene - the one who are only shown in the videos as torso, cock and legs.

There are some issues worth discussing. There's a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but it's easy enough to uncheck. Trial members get limited access, but what those limitations are is not specified on the site term page. Having just launched, the site is small, and I don't see either an update schedule or dates on the updates, so there's no way to know how often or when new updates will be added. There's a huge ad banner on the bottom of all the member area pages, and the highlighted LIVE STUDS on the top of the pages leads offsite to a third-party live cam site.

There's one last thing I wanted to mention. This is the fourth VR site I've reviewed, and while the content here is good quality and plays well, I - as a less experienced VR user - found it a little harder to get the videos to play than on the other sites I reviewed, whether streaming or downloaded. Ultimately this is partly about whether your phone or device is set up for VR already and how well you know how to use it. The site does have helpful info on how to play the videos on various devices, and Ultimately it's worth spending a little time setting things up, because the videos look great and the men and action are hot.
