American Muscle Hunks Review

American Muscle Hunks launched in 2012 and features real-life couple Joey D and Johnny V. They come together in steamy fuck sessions with each other, their gym buds, and porn star friends. The men here feature hot chiselled bodies with carved pecs and six-park abs and they do a mix of posing, solo jack-offs, and hardcore suck and fuck videos. We haven't been here for over five years, and while the site is no longer producing new videos, they did join the Carnal Plus network after our last review. There's been a lot of change here, so let's head back and see what's been happening.

Joey D .appears in 75 videos on the site and he's handsome and stands 6 feet and weighs 220 pounds of solid muscle. He thinks his chest is his best asset, but his legs are his favorite. He packs 9.5 inches, and thankfully, he's a top. Johnny V is 5'10" and weighs 180 pounds. He's best known for his blond, short Mohawk and says his arms are his best asset, which also happen to be his favorite. He's versatile and stars in 88 videos.

The men joining Joey and Johnny are a mix of amateur bodybuilders, gym jocks, and muscle hunks and many are well-known performers, but there are plenty of fresh faces and unknowns. Scanning the video library, you'll see familiar faces like Alex Mecum, Jack Hunter, Alex Green, Corbin Colby, Zak Bishop, Brogan Reed, and heavily inked men like Dolf Dietrich and Dylan James. In older scenes you'll probably remember men like Sean Maygers, Hugh Hunter, Micah Brandt, Aleks Buldocek, Tommy DeLuca and Cameron Frost. 

The men range throughout their twenties and thirties, maybe some into their forties. Most are White but there are some men of color. Asian bodybuilder Jessie Lee is here, Dylan Strokes, inked Latin stud FX Rios, Black sexpots Lawrence Portland and Micah Brandt, and others. The men work hard on their bodies as evidenced by their chiselled pecs, ripped abs, bulging shoulders and thighs, huge biceps, and bubble butts. Some have more of a fitness model look, muscular with lean and athletic physiques, and a handful are out of place on a muscle man site. Some are sporting a few tattoos, others have a lot of ink, but many have no tatts at all, it's a nice mix. The men are largely clean shaven, but plenty have face scruff and full beards. There are hairy men, but many more have smooth bodies that show off their spectacular physiques.

The action varies quite a bit from solo posing to hardcore sex. Some of the men flex, oil up, pose and show off their physiques with full nudity; others have limited nudity, showing off their ass cheeks or flashing some pubic hair; and some of the guys have full-on cock and ass shots. There are muscle worship videos, and there are some hardcore sessions with guys sucking cocks and fucking. Most of their older videos are voyeuristic affairs where we watch the guys in the shower, shaving, working out, posing and flexing or having their morning coffee, and some stroke their cocks, but not all of them do. Some of the newer videos show guys plying with sex toys like dildos or a Fleshjack.

Some of my favorite videos offer more teasing with the men showing off in their underwear of jockstraps, showing their hard cocks bulging through their underwear (Joey D does some hot undie bulge stroking), and sometimes the guys talk to us on camera. "Manhole" is the last video added to the site and it features Joey D fucking hung porn star Jack Hunter in a bar's bathroom. American Muscle Hunks offers 230 exclusive videos in MP4 format and they run from 
15 to 20 minutes, but many of the oldest videos are under 10 minutes long. A big change here is that downloads are no longer included in your membership, you having to purchase them on a per item basis and the newest downloads come in three sizes are 720p (HD), 480p (SD) and 360p (HD) and the very oldest come in one size at 360p (SD) which is good for mobiles but not great for larger screens. Otherwise, the videos play in an adaptive player that adjusts them to fit your screen size. They're pretty good quality, although they aren't as crisp as we like to see. Sound and lighting is pretty good, although some vids are dimmer than others. There is a full-screen option and most of the videos hold up pretty well, although the oldest are already a little on the fuzzy side, so don't expect the best results. The site is mobile compatible and the videos play well.

There are some handy features here. All the videos have clickable model names and tags so you can find more of what or who you're looking for. Videos and models can be browsed by date or alphabetical order and most of them have stats on their profile pages and most of the scenes come with descriptions.

Photos at Carnal Plus appear on each episode's page; however, the American Muscle Hunks scenes don't have any galleries. There is a Photos section on the navbar and you'll find around 1,585 photo galleries from the other sites in the network. However, there is a technical glitch that prevents the galleries from actually displaying; we have reported this to the site.

Members get lots of extras here, but these have changed drastically since our last visit. Gone are the third-party video feeds which once offered over 1,600 videos. Previously members had only received bonus access to four other sites when they signed up for a 90-day membership, but now members get access to the entire Carnal Plus network regardless of the duration of their membership. This now gives you nine exclusive sites produced by Carnal Plus, sites like Twink Top with hung twinks fucking older men, FunSize Boys that explores size differences between pint-size guys and their tall tops, father and stepson sex at Gaycest, and two newish sites, namely Catholic Boys featuring dirty priests fucking altar boys and 18+ students at the school they run as well as StagHomme which features a Latin call boy servicing rich and powerful men. These nine sites add a new scene very other week. Altogether there are 3,375 videos in this network.

There are also six sites that no longer update, American Muscle Hunks among them. Bang Bang Boys features lot of Brazilian muscle hunks and Jalif Studio is a fetish site produced in Spain with lots of kinky action. There are a couple of twink sites and Baptist Boys which was a short-lived site offering a religious theme with an all-Black cast.

Now let's talk about downsides. The site has not only stopped updating, but there's one less video than was here when we last reviewed the site over five years ago. The last video was added in December 2019; however, this may be the date it was added to the Carnal Plus network and not the date the video was filmed. If you want to download the videos, you should know that the they cost $9.95 each and very oldest only come in 360p (SD), which is pretty small, although they'll play alright on mobiles. And if you're a fan of photos, the lack of galleries may be disappointing. There's a lot of advertising here, and some of it like the ads for Carnal Chat are designed to look like more content.

The site has a pre-selected email subscription on the join page, and while you can deselect it, the sites terms still say they can email you with updates and promos at any time. There are two unchecked offers on the sign-up page and you should make sure they haven't changed to opt-in when you're signing up. There's a full-page ad after logging in, but the way to the member's area is easy to see.

American Muscle Hunks offers a mix of men I've seen on other sites including many porn stars, but there are plenty of newer faces and physiques to enjoy. The performers are mostly well-built and sexy amateur jocks and muscle hunks, and besides the flexing and posing, the guys have a great time teasing in their underwear and jerking off. And while there are a lot of solos here, there's a healthy offering of hardcore sucking and fucking, too, sometimes with either Joey J or Johnny V, and sometimes other guys in duos. There are 230 exclusive videos to stream and play on your mobiles, but the site no longer updates, but access to 16 sites in the Carnal Plus network will keep you entertained.
