Slang reference to a woman's genitalia, due to its resemblance to the vegetable Cabbage.

Definition

Adopted in the 1920/1930's by the African American community, it refers to the woman's external genitalia, the vulva, that supposedly resembles a cut cabbage.

Slang term, popularized in some earlier jazz tunes, in which a woman claims to have fresh cabbage for sale, and she isn't talking about the vegetable.

It can also refer simply to Women.
