Virginia Lawmakers Pass Anti-Porn Resolution to Prevent Orgies

Virginia is the latest American state to take a swipe at porn. Last week, Virginia lawmakers passed Resolution HJ549 that states in part: "Use of pornography, by either partner, is linked to an increased likelihood that individuals will engage in group intercourse." The resolution goes on to make more than a dozen unsupported claims about the ill effects porn allegedly has on Virginians, but stops short of doing anything concrete. The resolution simply asks "that the General Assembly recognize the need for education, prevention, research, and policy change at the community and societal level."
