Twinks in Shorts Resurrects Dead Gay Porn Star Denis Reed in a New Scene

This week Twinks in Shorts released a scene featuring gay porn star Denis Reed who was killed in May 2016 in a motorcycle accident. Reed was 31 years old. I don't know about you, but it always seems weird to me, maybe even a little distasteful, when a studio releases videos of performers who have passed away. I'm not sure why I shudder over this because Hollywood does it all the time. Apparently there are enough unpublished Michael Jackson songs in the vault to keep his grandchildren stocked in tunes -- and revenue -- for years to come. But I even find that creepy.

But what's a porn studio or site to do when a performer dies? Should they just retire the content and take a bath on their investment? It seems like overkill to delete a deceased's scenes from a members area, but should a site still continue bringing out previously unreleased material? At least Twinks in Shorts waited two plus years to bring out this one, Falcon Studios only waited 22 days before releasing Dave Slick's scenes.

Denis Reed got started in porn in 2004. Most notably, and for several years preceding his death, Reed was the cock behind the camera in Czech Hunter, the site where guys are stopped on the street and offered money to have sex with the videographer.

So what do you think? Is it okay for a studio to continue releasing a deceased performer's scenes? Is there a right or wrong way to do it?
