My Math Teacher Is a Pornstar

When a beefcake photo of mathematics professor Ruggero Freddi went viral, the teacher's porn past made headlines. Freddi performed under the name Carlo Masi and was an exclusive with COLT Studio Group where he filmed around 15 scenes. Masi quit porn in 2013 and got a degree in mathematics and eventually became a teacher.

A student discovered a video of a shirtless Freddi flexing on his Facebook page and the video went viral. It was only a matter of time before someone made the connection and the story appeared on Repuiblica, one of Italy's major media outlets. (See more photos inside.)

"To be honest, it wasn’t exactly a secret," Freddi says, as quoted by Instinct Magazine. Freddi doesn't expect any trouble, but he hasn't been back on campus since the news broke. "I'm happy and proud of both my careers. They both reflect part of my personality."

Freddi lives in Rome with his partner of 11 years, Gustavo Alejandro Leguizamon, who incidentally was also a porn performer with COLT Studio Group. Under the name Adam Champ, he also filmed around a dozen scenes and filmed with other porn studios before leaving the business.
