Interview with Tristan Hunter

I feel bad, I’ve been talking to this next star for a bit and promised him an interview but never could figure out timing. I’m glad we finally have connected because this stud has blown up and he might get too big for me soon. Everyone please welcome in a thick-dicked top, but also a big butt bottom. Tristan Hunter is here with us today.

Tristan trust me I am very happy to have you here as you can probably tell by my constant DMs on Twitter. :) It’s fun seeing how many scenes you already have out, but let’s start at the beginning, which I guess isn’t really that long ago. How’d you get your start stud? What made you want to get into porn or was it just kinda random?

Took us long enough! Glad we finally were able to connect.

It really hasn’t been that long, but it’s surreal how it feels like I’ve been doing this for years. Getting started wasn’t entirely random, but it was definitely impulsive! I’m close friends with Damian Black (@damian_blackk), who has been out of the spotlight for a few years but filmed with CockyBoys and made some beautiful stuff. We met through mutuals, talked a few times about his past work in the industry. Probably after about a year of hanging out I was bitching about how much I hated my job and wanted to get out from behind a desk. I thought he was joking at first, but he offered to connect me with his prior agent. It was all downhill from there and I landed my first gig in September of last year.

The first scenes I saw you in were for Gay Room. Walk us through your first scene? Did it go how you thought it would or was it completely different than what you imagined?

The bar was VERY low as far as my expectations before my first shoot! I’ve admitted this to a few people, but I was terrified to get on the plane and almost no-showed. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I think I went to the absolute worst scenario. Not at all how it was when I showed up. The director, Tom, is hilarious and was super flexible as far as rolling with punches and making the shoot work. I was paired with another newcomer, Dart Delgado, as well as Ricky Daniels for those first two scenes. Honestly the worst part was trying to stay on that freaking inflatable bull in the pool; otherwise, Tom and the scene partners were respectful, professional, and fun to work with. Definitely a good way to launch things.

Already you’ve been featured in a couple movies, but the first one that came out was for Hot House entitled Hit the Mat and this one is loaded with talent: Kurtis Wolfe, Jack Hunter, Devon Franco, Cazden Hunter, Jacob Peterson, Liam Cyber and Paul Canon. Oh yeah, there’s some dude named Alex Mecum you got to film your scene with. Not to mention this whole thing is put together by Trenton Ducati. Damn, that’s a lot of talent for one shoot. Was it intimidating at all? What was your scene like with Alex? Nothing like getting fucked in the bathroom by a sweaty jock right?

So for Hit the Mat, the whole premise of my role is that I’m trying to keep up with the more experienced wrestler and prove that I deserve a spot on the team, and like, you can’t come up with a better metaphor for how I felt on that set! I had the pleasure of personally meeting Alex (obviously), Jacob, and Cazden while filming, and I was absolutely the freshman of the group in every way. Then on top of that, you have Trenton frickin’ Ducati running everything and it’s Trenton frickin’ Ducati … so yes, I was surrounded by big names, I was definitely aware of it, and I’m just grateful that they felt I performed well enough to not blacklist me fresh out of the gate.

Also, Alex. Like, thank you porn gods for smiling down on me. Such a nice guy, so pleasant to get to know, and his sex is ridiculous. God bless. I will say though, we drenched that place in sweat. We filmed in a separate pseudo-locker room space from the studio itself, so there was only AC from a mobile unit between takes (because of the noise), and it was September in the desert. It got moist.

Let’s stay with a friendly studio like Hot House and move right to your Falcon Studios production, Get Wet, which is also loaded with talent. Your scene is with Shane Jackson who has been everywhere recently. A nice flip-flop fuck which is my favorite kind of scene. What was shooting this scene like and how was your partner? He seems just as cock hungry as you are and the scene stands out in my opinion :)

I can't help but agree, Get Wet produced some incredible stills and footage. Tony Dimarco is an awesome director and the team included Mr. Pam, Trenton Ducati, and Brian Bonds, so it was a powerhouse. The phrase "do it for the art" got thrown out there a few times and became the theme of the day (someone forgot to turn the heater on for the pool, for instance…), and we definitely made some beautiful visuals together. Shane Jackson is such a nice guy and was fun to work with. We’ve actually done scenes together with three different studios now, so the joke is "k I'll see you in another month." If it keeps up, I'm just going to ask him to move in with me for the convenience of driving to work together.

Austin Wilde has always been a favorite of mine and his studio Guys in Sweatpants is no exception. Constantly he puts out great scenes with amazing talent. Your scene with Tyler was great and you get to show off more of your topping skills. How was filming with Austin? He seems like such genuinely nice guy and that has to be why his scenes are always great.

If you follow our Twitter banter at all, you probably saw me jokingly push Austin to run for public office. But, low key not joking. The guy is witty, sharp, and has a directorial flavor different from a lot of others in the industry. Guys in Sweatpants is what I'd describe as conversational: there's no real agenda. It's unscripted, off the cuff, but still very much professional and comes out looking polished. If I could sum up Austin and the work he does in one word, it'd be "genuine." no frills, just sex that looks and feels good. It was Tyler's debut scene, and I hope to see more of him coming from GISP. Very nice guy and super hot.

Ok, so more about you. You casually snuck in our conversation the other day that you have a boyfriend. Is he in the industry also? How do you guys keep your relationship strong and is there ever any jealousy? Personally, I’d be pumped to watch my hot boyfriend get pounded out on my TV screen or computer screen. But I'd have to imagine I'm in the minority on that one. Any specific rules you have or am I really just trying to blow it out of proportion?

Everyone's obsessed with my boyfriend after I introduced him at the GayVN’s, and I can't blame them (to be honest I had to have my more famous friends introduce both of us because no one knows who I am yet either). He's so gorgeous and the best guy. We’ve been together for four years, have a house and fur babies together, the whole thing. Definitely not in the industry but is so supportive of my work. He's never made me feel like I have to ask for permission or apologize for what I do. And the dad jokes? On point.

As far as jealousy goes, we're both human and I think we both have had moments where it’s like "bruh, what are you doing?" What's great about our relationship is we're both very resilient and there's pretty much not a damn thing we can't work through at this point. Our sexual interests and/or opportunities don't always perfectly line up, so basically all we're doing is augmenting that part of our lives. It has no real impact on how we function as partners. I couldn't ask for a better match.

Do you prefer to top or bottom? Do you get paid more if you bottom? Any favorite scene partner to date or company/site you've worked for?

I’m pretty vers at this point. A year ago I would've said bottom all the way but there are just too many nice asses out there. Shout out to Dylan Hayes, the flip-fuck vid we did together for our fan sites is a huge stand out for me. As far as studios, I loved working with Steven Lee and Trevor Miller in the upcoming remake of The Pledge for Falcon. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be friends with both of them well after we're all out of the porn world, and I just can never say enough nice things about Falcon and the work that they do. I won’t comment on pay other than to say I've never seen a real difference in compensation between bottoming and topping; whether that has to do with the fact that I market myself as a vers model, I don't know and I'm not particularly bothered by it.

So, you were also telling me that you have some scenes coming out for a new site from the creator of Sketchy Sex and FraternityX, two of my favorite sites. Are you able to disclose any of those details? Did you shoot any scenes for SS or FX?

When we first spoke, I asked the owner/director of the SS/FX sites for some guidance, and was told that the new site would be live in December 2018. As far as I’m aware, that hasn’t happened yet, so I’m not sure what to expect in terms of release. When they’re available, expect content that pushes limits in the same way that Sketchy Sex and Fraternity X have done, but maybe even a step further.

I'm not letting you sneak away without going over this scene you did for a very guilty pleasure of mine, Family Dick. Your scene with Sean Duran really got me going. The only weird part is that guy yelling in your face the entire time. For those who haven’t seen it, Tristan plays the part of Sean Duran’s stepson. He is going through a rebellious stage and got caught with porn, cigarettes, etc. So naturally the lesson has to end up with the stepson getting fucked in the ass right? HAHA.. tell me about the filming of this scene. Where the hell was this shot? The second scene is just as hot too, but toned down a lot as he only carries you to your room and fucks you there while mom is away. Are these scenes shot around the same time or even in the same day maybe?

Sean Duran is great. If we hadn’t been filming in the literal dirt with Florida’s humid air, I probably would've asked the crew to just leave us there after the scene so we could keep playing. Like yes daddy teach me a lesson.

Family Dick had some firsts for me, but I actually really embraced the snotty kid roll. We did SO many takes of the yelling in my face bit, and that did get repetitive, but as with anything it’s all just role playing and creating a fantasy, and they want to get it as close to right as possible. All of my scenes in Florida were shot in two days, three scenes altogether, each having a part 1/part 2 format. So on the second day, the outdoor scene was filmed in the morning, and then when we were done I had about 90 minutes before we had to get to the next location for the other. Needless to say, we stayed busy!

Is porn your only job? What are your hobbies? Tell us a secret that only a few people or maybe no one knows until now.

Currently, porn is my only job. I spent about four years professionally behind a desk, and was losing my mind doing it. After leaving that career and starting porn, my blood pressure dropped by about twenty points back to a healthy level within about two months (I shit you not). So I'm happy having the flexibility for a change.

I am obsessed with my animals, and other people's pets, and I probably like most pets better than the people attached to them. I've got four room mates all together, including my boyfriend. We’re all gay, so we definitely gaggle up now and again and terrorize our local bars (jk and we tip really well). I love traveling, another huge benefit of porn. I'm going to try and have higher energy levels in 2019 so that when I get flown places for work, I can go out and see the sights after shooting, as opposed to my current routine of eating and passing out immediately after wrap.

Hmm, something not everyone knows … Many people wouldn't necessarily guess this by looking at me, but I was in a three-year relationship with a woman. Pregnancy scares and everything. Weird how life works out.

Tristan, it has been great having you here and thanks for being such a good sport with my questions. What is one that describes you as a performer and why? Are we going to remember you or are you here for just a short time before moving on to other things?

I'm a pretty pragmatic guy, so honestly, if I had to pick one thing that describes the work I do, it'd be this: it might take me awhile to cum but, to this day, I haven't shat on any of my scene partners dicks and I don’t intend to start. Casting directors, take note.

I have no immediate plans to get out of the industry, so if studios keep offering work I'll keep popping up on your screen. I'd eventually like to start a career outside of porn, in case I don’t age well; deep down my dream is to own a brewery, but I also don’t want to be the hipster at farmer's markets talking to strangers about his microbrews … so we’ll see.
