I spent a nice morning with Andy, Jenna and Drew, Andy’s parents brought over brunch. I hadn’t seen them since the wedding, so it was nice to catch up with them. They were clearly the proudest grandparents I had ever seen.

Andy and I were alone for few minutes, he asked, “so, what are your plans for the rest of the day?”

I smiled, “well, I called Kyle last night…”

Andy interrupted, “no shit, what happened?”

I blushed, “I spent the night with him, I checked out of the hotel, we are going golfing this afternoon and I am going to stay at his place again tonight.”

He looked at me in shock, “really, so are you guys… seeing each other?”

I shrugged, “I’m not sure yet, we had a nice long talk, I think I would like to see where things go with us.”

Andy asked, “are you sure, I mean I don’t want to you to get hurt.”

I chuckled, “there’s that mother hen coming out in you again.”

He said, “well, damn it, I remember how he treated you in high school.”

I said, “I remember too, but he was very sincere last night, he has changed since he came out.”

Andy shrugged, “I can tell that I’m not going to change your mind, just be careful.”

I smiled, “yes, mom.”

He shook his head, “alright, I’m staying out of it.”

I stood to leave, “I’ll be careful, and I love you for caring so much. I’ll stop by tomorrow before I leave for home.”

Andy gave me a hug, “you better, or Jenna will be pissed.”

He chuckled, “he and his roommate, Cole, are moving into those new apartments on Collins Ave, he starts his new job next week.”

I said, “yeah, I would be happy to help you guys, and you are welcome to stay at my place if you want to.”

I could feel him grin, “I was hoping you would say that. We should get into town a little bit after noon. I’ll call as soon as we do, and you can meet us at the apartment.”

We had everything in the apartment and were working on getting the furniture arranged. Kyle and Cole were in the bedroom, setting up the bed, Owen and I were getting the couch in place in the living room. It still seemed like Owen was flirting with me and checking me out. I wasn’t sure what Kyle told him about us, but I was sure he saw us kiss earlier. We finished in the living room and went to see how they were doing in the bedroom.

I asked, “how’s it going in here?”

Kyle sighed, “this bed is huge, I don’t think you are going to have room in here for Cole’s bed.”

Owen said, “well I guess if we were just roommates, we would have taken the two-bedroom apartment, huh?”

I laughed, “yeah, that would have a little less obvious.”

After little bit more ribbing, Kyle and Cole were still trying to get the bed together. I asked, “what else do you need me to do?”

Kyle said, “I think the bed is the last thing, you can go if you want to. I’ll finish up and be to your place in a few minutes.”

Owen nodded, “yeah, I think we can handle it from here.”

I gave Kyle a quick kiss, “ok, see you in a while.”

Cole said, “thanks for the help.” I left to go back to my apartment.

I figured Kyle would be at my place in about a half hour, helping with the move had me all sweaty, and knew Kyle was too. I decided a shower would be the perfect start to our evening. As soon as I got to my apartment, I took off my shirt, shoes, and socks. I made one more pass over the apartment, tidying up. About the time Kyle should be there, I took my shorts and underwear off and wrapped a towel around my waist. I heard a pounding at the door.

I laughed, “relax Kyle, I’m coming, we have all night.”

I opened the door and was shocked to see Owen standing there, he looked upset.

I asked, “Owen, what are you doing here? What’s the matter?”

He rushed in. “it’s Kyle, that bastard. I ran down to the store and when I came back, he and Cole were going at it, on the bed that they had just finished putting together.”

I shut the door, “slow down, what’s going on?”

He paced the floor, “we were missing some bolts for the bed, I ran to the hardware store to pick some up and when I got back to the apartment, Kyle was fucking Cole.”

My mind was racing, I didn’t know what to say, shit, was Kyle just using me again?

I asked, “are you sure that is what they were doing?”

He rolled his eyes, “I know what two naked guys are doing when I see it, Kyle had his dick on my boyfriend’s ass.”

Owen laughed, “are you kidding me, you don’t know my cousin very well. He has always wanted what I have our whole lives.”

I still was trying to process this, “but we have had some long talks about this, I know he wouldn’t hurt me like this.”

He scoffed, “he didn’t do it to hurt you, he did it to hurt me. Now it’s my turn to get back at him.”

He tried to take the towel again, I pushed him back on the couch.

I sighed, “let me get dressed, then we will go back to your place and get to the bottom of this.”

He nodded, “I need something to drink, do you have a bottle of water?”

I said, “sure, I’ll get it for you, then we’ll go see Kyle and Cole.”

I walked into the kitchen to get the water, when I came back to the living room, Owen was standing there with a big grin. He had taken all his clothes off and was naked.

I shook my head, “Owen, put your clothes back on, right now!”

He just stared at me with that evil grin, there was knock on the door. Before I could react, he rushed to me and pulled the towel away and said, “come in.”

He started to kiss me as Kyle walked in. Kyle’s smile quickly disappeared as I pushed Owen to the floor.

Kyle looked at me, then to Owen, “what the fuck?”

I started to walk to Kyle, he put his hand up, “don’t even try.” He turned and slammed the door as he left.
