While we finished setting up the bedroom furniture, we smelled food cooking, Josh’s mom was cooking us all burgers in the kitchen, we all sat on the floor of the living room while Josh’s mom and his neighbor took dibs on the lawn chairs from the balcony, and we ate our first meal in our new apartment on paper plates, as we finished we realized we forgot Ketchup and garbage bags but there were plenty of empty boxes and bags we had to bring down to the dumpsters anyway. Josh looked at me beaming with pride, as if he was saying and he’s all mine, and said “I love you Dave, you made me a better person, for that I’ll never stop loving you”.
