It was a cool Christmas Eve evening in the ATL, it was chilly, and everybody was in cheer hoping for new things in the new year! Then Vinny got the news, DEVEN GOT SHOT!! the boy that slid his way into Vinny and Chris life with his STD was killed, Vinny didn't know how to feel, a part of him wanted to enjoy the feeling of karma, while the other part simply felt bad for him,

"I gotta go somewhere," said Vinny

"Where you goin?"

"To speak to Deven at the hospital I can't just leave it like this!"

Then Vinny rushed to the hospital where Deven was, not knowing it would be the last time he would ever see him again.

Vinny went to see Deven at the hospital, even tho everything in him was telling him to forget about this nigga, but Vinny had a soft side and decided it was the right thing to do! Deven was laying on the hospital bed connected to machines, his breathing was cut short and the bullets pierced him twice in the chest an in the abdomen, which meant Deven didn't have long to live. His family was there when Vinny came in

"Who are you?" Asked devens mom

"I'm a.....just a friend," said Vinny

"Well y'all go say ya last words because he don't have much blood left," said the doctor

Then Vinny went inside and talked to Deven who was on his deathbed, and even after all the drama and infidelity Vinny managed to feel bad for him,

Vinnys worst fear came true, Chris caught a lil flu but the AIDS weakened his immune system, which meant a little flu turned into a HUGE outbreak! Chris was so weak and frail, the AIDS really did damage on him, but Vinny was determined he would make it.....even tho in the back of his mind he knew he wouldn't.

Chris was so sick that he too had to go into the hospital, and after 4 days the doctor did all they could do, and it was Chris last time....

Vinny was sittin right next to Chris on his hospital bed, he was holding his hand tightly, shedding tears from his eyes for he knew the outcome! Vinny tearfully decided to say his last words to Chris...

"Chris baby....I'm so sorry....I didn't mean for any of this to happen.....I was supposed to be your husband....your king....we was suppose to have a future together.....I know I fucked up but please baby please...fight this!"

Then Chris's machine stopped, his breathing came to a flatline.......at 5:07 pm mid June 2015......27 year old Chris was dead.

Vinny cried like he never cried before! His fiancé, his best friend, his prince was gone forever.....all due to his foolishness and cheating with Deven, and Chris decided to fuck with Deven just for payback but ultimately it backfired.....now both Deven and Chris were dead.....an Vinny drowning in guilt...

Vinny was still coping with the loss of Chris, and after moving out the house and living inside a small condo, Vinny decided to see therapy to keep him from commuting suicide due to the mounting guilt!

"Hello Vinny how are yiu today?" Asked Dr. Francis

"I'm not doing to well this week, because it's an anniversary coming up.....I miss him so much!!" Cried Vinny

"It's okay to cry, let it all out, it's not your fault...."

"YES IT IS MY FAULT!"

"How did you come to that conclusion, did you have a roll in the death of your fiancé?"

"Well long story short: I was engaged to him this time last year, we planned on spending life together and then at a fashion show I met this model, his name was Deven and I was tempted...we had an affair while we were in Arizona and then Chris found out I guess, and he got even with me by screwing him in our house....then turns out Deven had STD I only got a lil thing but Chris got it ALL and then he got AIDS and now he's dead!

"Look mr. Vinny, many times in life we have a good relationship then get distracted by others and loose the concept of the love, and then you have situations like these which in most cases could've been avoidable, now you have this guilt hanging over you because of something you did, and it's not all your fault but you at least need to own responsibility in all this."

"Well all I CAN tell you is that this is a process, it'll get a lil better to cope but it'll never go away, but I think what Chris would want is for you to do better and learn from this, cuz you're lucky antibiotics took care of you otherwise you be in the grave too it wasn't for your ignorance,"

And then Vinny took these words to heart, from now on whoever else he meets in his life he won't mess it up, finally Vinny went to the cemetery where Chris was buried, and he laid down Christmas flowers and the engagement card he gave to him last year. Vinny was crying but he knew there was nothing he could do, and decide to go home....alone.

New Year's Eve 2015
