Chapter 19

RION

Since it was my cabin, I just watched as he dressed quickly. We exchanged a kiss that despite our nervousness at the situation, lingered. His hand brushed over my throbbing hardon as out tongues met, his fingers closing around it. Oh yeah, it was pretty much open that we lusted for one another. Still, even as his hand pulled exquisitely on my cock, I told myself it was just a hot flirt. We could stop it here. If only he wasn’t so damn gorgeous and drop dead sexy!

“Rion, you're so hot,” he whispered. “You know,” he paused and blushed so adorably I wanted to grab him and kiss him some more, “You know if you were to go ahead and put some seed money, a few million into Oceanic Blue, Mile’s baby, he probably wouldn’t care if we did a lot more than massage. Just saying. And I certainly won’t tell Martin, if you don’t. Let's keep this a secret?”

He let me go and opening the door, slipped through it, leaving me pounding with need, precum oozing from my cock tip. The thought of doing more than massaging him wedged itself in my mind. All I could think of was that moment when my cock had snagged itself on his pucker, almost being pulled into that incredibly sexy ass.

I was all oiled up, so I lay back down on the towel on the bed, cock throbbing, and gave into touching myself, which led to stroking, until I was so close to climax, my hand involuntarily tightened on the root of my cock to stop the first spurt as a soft knock on the door interrupted me. Damn! Was it Larry? If it was, I was going to be damn tempted to drag him in here and have my way with him!

I opened the door to see the platinum blond beauty, Cass, whose stunning blue eyes swept down my body.

“Mmm sorry to interrupt…” he began.

“No problem. I don’t mind.” I said winking as his eyes jerked back up from examining my throbbing rod.

He blushed and offered me a sheepish grin that was damned adorable. Jake was an idiot if he didn’t sweep this cute kid up, I thought. It was obvious Cass had a crush our sexy captain.

“Um, well Martin sent me down here to find you. He’s meeting with the Captain in the Captain’s room astern.”

“Oh. Sure, tell them I will be with them in a few minutes.”

“Ok.” With a last lingering glance down at my iron hard throbber, Cass flashed me a grin and walked away.

I closed the door to the corridor and stepped into the head. In a moment I had the shower going and spent a couple of minutes quickly scrubbing off the oil, before drying and pulling on grey sweatpants and a navy hoodie, slipping on deck shoes. Within five minutes of Cass’s notice, I was climbing the internal companionway by the solo flex machine, up into the captain’s quarters.

My husband was there, wearing faded jeans and a blue and black flannel shirt. He was seated in front of Jake’s desk, his feet up on the desk itself.

Jake was behind his desk. Both men turned to look at me, and that’s when I noticed Will, the lawyer in dark grey slacks, a blue jersey and leather jacket leaning back against a port hold window on one side, his arms folded.

Martin held out his hand and I went to him and bending gave him a smooch without even thinking about it. It was something we always did. “What's up, babe?” I asked Martin, after a curious glance at the others.

Martin turned to Will. “You want to fill him in, Will?”

Will smiled a bit grimly, in a way that sent alarm bells down my spine. “Have a seat, if you would Rion.” He said, gesturing to the one unoccupied chair facing Jake’s desk.

I sat down, and took a deep breath, bracing myself. Something was going on here and from the expressions on faces, including my beloved husband’s, I wasn’t going to like it.

Then, as I listened to the captain tell me what he had overheard, I felt the floor drop out from under me. Will told me what he had investigated with Oceanic Blue Resorts, I became nauseous and wanted to vomit. I was furious at myself and at Larry, for his part in trying to manipulate me.

There was a long silence, but then I decided to come clean. “Baby, I have something to tell you.”

Martin smiled, “You don’t have to, right now, love.”

“Yes, I do.” I said firmly. “I wish I could tell you without all this forcing me. But I would have anyway… if things had gone any further. Larry was just giving me a massage when one of the crewmen walked in on. I wish I could say the massage would have remained just that, but it had turned really hot babe. I was really being tempted. When the crew man found us, if he had walked in any later…”

Jake held up a hand. “We don’t need to hear more of this. This is you and your husband’s business.”

Martin shook his head, looking grim and a touch sad, but, not angry. I almost wished he looked angry, but he smiled after a moment. “Nope, it is your business. We all need to know how Lawrence Panton and his mentor, Miles, works." My love turned to me with something fierce in those eagle eyes of his I had learned to recognize. I was heartened by it. "You say Larry actually told you Martin wouldn’t mind if you and Larry had sex if you invested in Oceanic Blue?”

“Yeah.”

Martin smiled at me and winked. He winked!

Then he folded his arms and looked around the cabin, and with a note of almost pride in his voice, he said, “Just so you gentlemen know, in case either of you want a piece of my sexy man, our boundaries are these. We are exclusive, we are allowed to flirt, but out of respect for our relationship and one another, we do our best to resist seduction by others. If we fail, or come close to failing to resist, we tell one another the truth. We never let each other be the last to know. That’s our rule gentlemen. I love my husband, but he and I are both human, and hell I am only 39 and he is only just forty, so we have a lot of temptation left in us. I love him the way he is, and he loves me the way I am, and that means we accept we will be attracted to other men. We just do our best to remember how much we love one another and try our best to let any jealousy go.”

Martin got up from his chair and knelt beside me. “I love you, baby. You did good. Lawrence IS fucking hot.” My love grinned and then kissed me, hard and passionately, right in front of Will and the Captain, and though I was still angry at Lawrence and his snake of a mate, I kissed my man right back. God, I loved this man!

JAKE

Something in me clicked. It was like a light went off in my head, and long after Martin and Rion engaged in their long kiss, my mind was still ablaze. That was it! That was very nearly the way of relationship I had been looking for, but not understanding. What they had was very nearly what I wanted. I mean it wasn’t quite it, as I knew my personal kinks of loving to watch my partner cuckhold me or almost cuckhold me was like a wrench in the works of the kind of thing Martin and Rion seemed to have.

Then the light dimmed as I wondered how I would ever find anyone as balanced as those two obviously were. As I thought about Dan it was clear that was a no go. Dan would have to fundamentally change. He was a creature who liked to be in the center of sensual, loving sexy attention, the centerpiece of multiple lovers. He ate that up like candy. And as for me changing, nope. I liked myself just fine the way I was, thank you very much. I didn’t need to hang around hoping for some Dan time. I didn’t need to be just one of many in my man’s life. I wanted someone I could focus on and who would focus on me.

 “So, Captain, what's next?”

I jerked up from my musings on relationships and love. “Well, if you guys don’t mind, however sexy Larry Panton is, and he is fucking sexy, I want both of them off this ship, your ship, Martin, before the storm hits. So why wait to confront them? It's not like were charging them with a crime. Let's give Rion a chance to lock down his financials, to make sure nothing screwy can be done to him by Martin, and then we call a meeting here in this cabin.”

They looked at me, and then they all nodded. Rion assured us he had never given Miles that kind of influence over his estate, but he was nevertheless on his phone talking to his people immediately.

I left them to it, pulling on my jacket. I found Cass outside in the open cockpit, talking to one of the crew, who was looking down at his feet. I knew what that was about. I clapped a hand on Cass’s shoulder as I passed them, heading up along the deck to the bow, checking once again to be sure everything was snubbed down and secure. It was odd, but I could trust Cass to deal with that crewman. That was part of the job I had handed him, and already he had risen to the occasion. In all honesty, as I looked back down the deck toward the two of them, I was feeling drawn to the blond beauty.

But though I thought he found me attractive, there was this reserve in his eyes. I wasn’t sure what it meant, but I felt it. Humph. He was a puzzle, but he was also at least nominally, part of the crew, if also a paying passenger.

Seeing that everything was shipshape, I decided to go for a walk and headed back to the boarding ramp. To my surprise, Cass met me there. “You going off ship, skip?”

I grinned at him. “I am. Just for a walk.”

A gust of southerly wind hit us, ruffling his grey hoody. Cass wore skintight white jeans which nicely advertised his bulge and jutting butt. I found myself wanting to taste him.

“Mind if I join you?”

“Not at all. I won’t be going far, just down the dock and along the shore to that marina over there.”

“Sure.”

We stepped onto the dock and headed up the pier, walking slowly.

“I saw you talking to our wayward crewman,” I said. “How’d that go?”

“He’s ashamed of himself and said if you fired him, he’d understand.”

I just nodded. “I haven’t made up my mind about that, but we’ll see after all this plays out.”

“It’s about to play out, isn’t it?”

“Yup. Any delay and those two will catch on.”

“Yeah.” Cass was silent for a bit as we walked. Then he said, “It’s really a shame. I know Larry has turned out to be really disappointing, but I can’t help liking him. He’s like this gorgeous retriever puppy that can’t help going where his dick leads him, even if it means following the orders of his master.”

“Aptly put.” I said, in agreement. “A damn hot tempting puppy, and he knows it.” I decided not to admit how close I came to fucking Larry myself and would have if Jim hadn’t interrupted.

Cass giggled. It was a soft muffled giggle, kept in the throat, sort of a warm chortle, really, but my heart skipped a beat. It actually did. Without thinking, I reached out, and hooked my arm in his, linking us as we walked. I felt him look up at me, but I didn’t quite connect back.

Then we both sighed. Not sure who was first. It didn’t matter. Just one of those moments, I guess, but something clicked. Something truly clicked.

“You guys have to be kidding." Miles snarled. "This is a joke, right?”

It was an hour after my very pleasant walk with Cass, and the atmosphere in my cabin was anything but pleasant. Will, Martin, Rion and I faced Miles across my cabin, and Miles, his eyes blazing, faced us with a truly admirable show of bravado, while his husband, Lawrence, stood in the corner, not looking at anything.

“Are you accusing the captain of lying about what he heard? Are you saying everything Will has said about your financial situation, about your misappropriation of investor’s funds and the legal trouble you are facing over this Ocean Blue Resorts mess is false?” Martin asked, mildly.

“Of course, all that is bunk. I don't know what the fuck Jake thought he heard, but it wasn't what he is saying. With all respect to Will, he is only looking at some negative foolishness that won’t have any effect on the success of this venture whatsoever. I admit there are a one or two investors who have backed out and are acting out of jealousy because they won’t be part of the ultimate success, but that's their stupidity. You guys are better than those idiots.”

“They want their investments back.” Rion pointed out, quietly.

“It's seed money! Its fucking gambling money. They know that. Those were the terms going in. Come on guys, to you two, it's a drop in the bucket. If you don't risk a little, you don't get anywhere. I shouldn't have to tell two such savvy businessmen that.”

“Then why not make that clear?" Martin reposited. "Why tell your young husband here to tell my husband if he invests in Ocean Blue, you wouldn’t care if they did more than just a sexy massage. Isn’t that right, Mr. Panton? Didn’t you say that to my husband a while ago?”  Martin had been calm but at this moment he was looking every bit as pissed as Miles appeared to be.

Lawrence jerked as if slapped, but before he could muster a reply, his husband spoke for him. “If he told your husband that, that was Lawrence’s foolishness, and you can be sure he and I will have words about that. Everyone knows our relationship is exclusive. I would never allow him to fuck around, and he knows it!” Miles said, with a fierce glare in his husband’s direction.

Then he turned back and vented a heavy sigh, spread his arms. “Look let's all calm down. I get it. Your husband here is feeling guilty because someone found him in a compromising position with my Larry. I get it. Thats understandable." Miles spread his hands trying to aim for a reasonable tone. Suddenly oozing sincerity and care, he went on, "I just can't let you guys screw up such a great opportunity. I am your financial advisor and one of your accountants, Martin. You know me. Sure, Ocean Blue Resorts is struggling to secure backing, but that’s to be expected. Time share projects aren’t as popular as they once were, but this Time Share resort is going to break the mold. I mean come on were talking a landmark resort here. A top-of-the-line golf course, multiple tennis courts, a lavish spa, five-star accommodations, luxury apartments to equal anything out there and surpass it. I could go on and on… You have to see it to believe it. Look let me take you out of here before this fucking storm hits and show you the target property. You have to see it for yourself.”

“No, I don’t have to see it.” Martin snapped right back. “I saw your presentation, and after the stunt you tried to pull here, I am not having any part of it.” Martin declared.

Miles gave his best outraged expression, one that seemed oddly well practiced. “What stunt? Look, ok, sure, you're going to believe Rion. He's your husband and you almost have to believe him. right? But Larry, I am sure, has a different story. I mean come off it. Rion is hot, but Larry has to fight guys off all the time. If that happened here, ok, so what, I forgive Rion. Hell, I am even willing to forgive him for coming onto my man if he and you are reasonable about this. I am even willing to forgive and forget that your man seduced and fucked my Larry."

"That did not happen." Rion shook his head quietly and Martin nodded.

"Ok, I hate to do this, but if you're going to lie to my face, Rion I have to call it." Miles said with great pompousness. "I have a witness that saw a hell of a lot more than a massage.”

“What?” Martin said quietly. “A witness to what, exactly.”

Miles ears looked as if they were pinned back and he squinted at Martin, and my cabin turned icy. I wonder if he realized the trap he was stepping into. Probably not, at least it didn't seem that way if I had to judge from the determined sneer of triumph playing around his lips.

Miles wagged his head in a so what gesture, “I already knew about this massage thing that went wrong. One of your crew told me he walked in on them fucking.”

“Really.” I heard myself say and all heads jerked around to me. “What crewman?”

Mile’s expression turned nastier. “What, you gonna fire one of your crew for being a snitch, Captain Jake?” He said using my title as if it were an insult.

“I will only fire a crewman with Martin’s agreement if he acts to damage this ship or it’s owners.” I said. “Now name the crewman.”

Miles hesitated, and I could see the wheels spinning. Did he double down or not?

But no, he decided to pull one more lever first. He half turned toward his husband Lawrence Panton who still stood in one corner as if wanting to melt into the bulkhead. “Tell em, baby. Tell Martin here that your ass was getting nicely filled by Rion here. We want it all out in the open, then there it is. Tell – em baby, and we'll see who is apologizing to whom, here."

Lawrence shrank in on himself, not answering.

“Tell them!” Miles managed not to shout, but the edge in his voice betrayed his tension.

“Well…”

“Well go on, you were fucking, right?” Miles snapped.

“Well… not… we weren’t quite…” Lawrence half whispered. his lower jaw jutting stubbornly, his eyes flicking up toward Rion. Apparently, Lawrence Panton couldn't quite bring himself to lie.

“Oh for fuck sake!" Miles yelled. He jerked around at me and hammered furiously. "Go get your crewman Jud in here. He’s the one who reported to me about my husband. Jud is a sweetheart and was really concerned for me and the interests of this ship, unlike my own worm of a partner.”

I reached over and thumbed the ship’s intercom. “Crewman Judd Teralt, please report to the captain’s quarters.”

It was a long tense two-minute wait before the most junior crewman Jud, showed up. Good looking in a long lean sort of way with chestnut brown hair, he had the grace to look abashed as he shuffled in, followed by Cass, who I had previously asked to go find and make sure Jud came when called.

Miles smirked, and somehow managed to present a front that seemed sweetly sincere, “There you are. Thanks Jud. Now tell these gentlemen what you saw when you entered Rion and Martin’s stateroom a little while ago.”

Jud's jaw dropped and he blinked. "Whuh?" He swallowed. “Uh, dayum you want me to snitch?”

“I want you to tell the truth!” Miles bit out slowly, unable to hide the contempt he felt for the crewman.

Jud returned the look and then shrugged. “Well then fuck, Mr Rion and Mr. Larry was laying on each other face ta face kissin and all and they was naked and dayum if they weren’t all excited.” Jud looked ready to tell more details, but Miles cut him off.

“Right, so there you have it, they were fucking, right?” Miles snapped impatiently.

"Well, I don’t rightly know about that, but they were lookin mighty uh, what's the word... affectionate.”

“You told me that you saw Lawrence fucking Rion. That’s what you said.” Miles raged, just short of yelling. I thought the man was about to burst a blood vessel and somehow managed to keep myself from laughing out loud.

“Naww, you musta miss heard." Jud said looking up at the ceiling. "Uhh, what ah said was, they looked like they might be fuckin, but naww prolly nawt. They were just rubben around on each other, kissin really hot and all. I can’t rightly say they was fuckin.”

Miles snapped around, looking like a rat caught in a trap. I’d had enough. I looked at Martin and he gave me a slight nod.

“I think we have heard enough. We are not bringing charges, but it’s clear that a set up for blackmail was attempted here. We all know it. Maybe we can’t prove it in a court of law, but what we can do is kick you off this ship. Please have your bags packed, both of you within the hour. There are still flights out of both airports and Baltimore Washington Airport as well. You can get out ahead of the storm.”

“And in case you are thinking you can exact any kind of retribution, both Rion and I have already acted to lock you out of our financials.” Martin said. “I concur with the captain. Your no longer my advisor, no longer my friend and I want you off my yacht, immediately.”

Miles laughed. “I’ll be glad to be off this filthy piece of junk. You guys think you have hurt me. Well you haven’t. Oceanic Blue will be a success and you will be really pissed off when you realize what you have missed. So, yeah, I am out of here. Fuck off, ass holes.”

With that he was gone, turning and charging out into the helm station and the cockpit beyond.

Lawrence Panton didn’t move. But then he said, “Rion, I am sorry. I shouldn’t have agreed to help, Miles, but you have to understand. He has done so much for me…”

Rion just shook his head. “You’re a hot man, Larry. But if you have to use that to take advantage, its anything but hot. You keep appeasing that lizard and it will catch up to you. No loyalty is worth that. Don't let him buy you off for life."

Lawrence seemed to deflate a little further but then jerked into motion as Miles screamed his name from outside. I liked to think that what Martin said struck home, but I had to doubt it.

After the others had left the cabin, none of them looking particularly happy. We were all a bit shell shocked; I suppose.

I went outside, keeping track of things until Miles and Lawrence were off the ship, suitcases in hand heading up the pier. Neither of them said a word or looked at me, but I was well aware I had made an enemy for life in Miles Stanton. Did I care? Nope.

On shore a black limo was waiting. When the two men were gone, I headed back into my cabin and a moment later, Cass stuck his gorgeous head in.

“Everything ok?”

Cass had been our back up card. If Jud hadn’t agreed to stick to the truth, and remained bought off by Mile’s promises, Cass would have appeared to report what he had seen. For Cass had already been there waiting for whomever showed up to peek into Rion and Martin’s stateroom. He’d taken the time and peeked in himself to see what Jud had seen, and then confronted Jud after. Cass had done all I asked and then some.

I gave Cass a come in gesture. He came ahead and I soon saw Jud was in tow.

Jud came to stand before my desk and I said, “Ok, Jud, not a very auspicious beginning for you in this job. What have you to say for yourself?”

He looked at the floor for a long time before swallowing and saying, “Sorry, Captain.”

I waited, but when he said nothing more I said, “I am glad you don’t try to excuse yourself and I accept your apology. However, if you ever act against any crew, me, our passengers, particularly at the pay or offer of pay by any passenger or visitor to this ship ever again, you will be off here without a second word. There will be no severance pay and no pay for your travel from wherever we dump you. From now on you are on probation until I say otherwise. And in the meantime, I will be keeping an extra sharp eye on you. Slack off even once where I can see, and that’s it. And no more hanging around the passenger, Kent, to get out of doing crew’s duties, whatever they might be at Jim or Kieth’s direction. Is all that clear?” I asked quietly.

He flinched and flushed. “Yes Sir.”

“Dismissed,” I said.

Jud glanced at Cass, but Cass was looking anywhere but at Jud. The crewman turned and slunk to the ladder hatchway leading below and disappeared. Time would tell if Jud Teralt shaped up or not. I figured there was a fifty-fifty chance he would last.

A strong gust of wind rose outside the ship, and rain spattered the stern ports. I looked at Cass and he looked at me.

“Can I say something, Captain?”

“Sure.”

Cass looked at me intently for a moment, opened his very kissable lips and started to speak, but then clamped his lips shut again as if thinking better of it. I cocked my head at him, and he just blushed, emitting that soft throaty chortle again, a laugh that suggest bemusement at himself.

“Well?” I prompted.

“Never mind. Another time, perhaps.” Cass’s stomach growled.

“Sounds like a hungry growing boy.” I remarked.

“Only when I look at you.” Cass said softly, but then laughed out loud. “I am going to get something to eat and drink to wash the taste of Martin and Larry out of my mind.”

“Coffee sounds great,” I said by way of agreement, smiling and pretending I hadn’t heard his soft remark. “Let's go see what’s up with the others.”

His eyes caught mine and I gazed right back as I stepped toward him and I wondered if we might be about to meet and kiss, but just in the nick of time, dammit, he turned, presenting that sexy ass to me, and that tapered back and broad shoulders. With a silent sigh, I followed him forward into the ship.
