I’ll be finishing Dan and Tommy shorty then I have a couple special projects from a couple of ya! Be watching. Til next time!!! ~Aiden

Joey moped around the house, taking his time gathering his belongings, which just so happened to be scattered everywhere. He hadn’t realized how much he had packed and how at home he felt in Dan’s big den of perverts. A shirt hanging on the back of a kitchen chair, clothes in the third floor bathroom, a phone charger plugged in an outlet in the first floor common area, “I’m a fucking slob!” he mumbled under his breath.

By the time he was certain he found everything and had it mostly packed, he noticed the pangs of hunger starting to naw and his empty stomach. Thinking this would be his last meal, he decided to trek back down all of those stairs and find something to eat.

Laser focused on pilfering through the refrigerator, his thoughts were drifting around his time with Bobby. He didn’t know he was alone until he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist while he was bent over foraging through the bottom drawers.

“What the hell?” Joey blurred out when Dan scooped him up from behind and ground his pelvis into Joey’s ass.

“Sorry dude, didn’t mean to scare ya.” Dan confessed looking amused at his actions.

“Nah, it’s ok.” Joey responded as he stood up and stepped away from the older man. “I was thinking about food and didn’t hear ya coming up behind me.”

“Last day huh?” the older man asked, closing the couple foot distance between them.

Trying to step back, Joey bumped into the opened refrigerator door, “Yeah, the car should be done any time.”

Dan wrapped his arms around Joey, lacing his fingers together at the small of the younger man’s back making Joey slightly uncomfortable. He didn’t want to make a scene so he stayed motionless except for scanning the room with his eyes.

The other man’s hands loosened and began moving downward until they were kneading Joey’s ass through his basketball shorts. Dan leaned in towards Joey’s neck. “Whoa,” Joey turned his head, bumping Dan’s movement off course.

“You good?” Dan asked confused about the rejection, remembering the submissive cock sucker he was a couple of days earlier.

“Yeah.” Joey thought about Bobby and how much different he felt with him verses all of the other people over the last few days. “I ah” his words fumbled out of his mouth, “I-I ah met someone.” His mouth went dry with a sudden blanket of anxiety that engulfed him.

“Oh shit!” the other man stepped back looked disappointed. “Someone from here? Tre?” he guessed.

“No, not Tre. Though I think we’re on good terms.” he admitted forgetting that Dan probably didn’t know about any of the drama from Saturday night or yesterday morning.

“Ya do realize you’re leaving us today right?” Dan was eluding to the fact that whoever he met would be left behind as well. “Does he fee the same way?”

“I think we’ll work that out.” Joey rebutted the implication that whatever he think he found was a waste. He thought about the last conversation with Bobby and how they talked about keeping in touch and visiting each other.

The conversation had quickly transitioned from an uncomfortable awkwardness to almost like a father son talk. Joey was intrigued by how easy it was to talk to the older man and how the anxiety he felt initially had faded. He started to see Dan as more of a mentor.

“Yeah, I think we’ll figure that out.” Joey repeated himself. “Listen, I want to thank you for everything Dan. Your letting me crash here, helping me figure some things out…” he paused wanting to make sure he hit all of the high spots of the weekend, “my car, myself. It’s been a very interesting weekend and I really liked most of it.”

“Shit man, no problem. I was happy to help… and enjoyed you being here.” Dan smiled. “Really enjoyed some of it!” he finished, stepping backwards to the island counter. He pulled out one of the wooden bar stools and sat. “Are ya going to tell me who has your attention?

Joey felt some embarrassment creeping in. He wanted to brag, to scream out his infatuation with Bobby, but he was suddenly feeling uncomfortable admitting he was interested in another man. What the hell? he thought to himself before deciding to speak. “Bobby”

A smirk distorted Dan’s face, he nodded in approval. “Didn’t see that one coming! I didn’t know Bobby was into guys!” he pondered aloud.

“Neither did he. Well, neither did I til my car broke down!” Joey smiled through his confession.

They talked a little more while Joey made himself a sandwich. As he got more comfortable talking to Dan, he filled Dan in on the G rated times he and Bobby shared. Joey confessed that they had talked about keeping in touch and finding time to see each other, adding that he was only a couple hours away.

Dan listened intently to whatever Joey revealed adding a “cool” or “very nice” wherever he felt it was appropriate. When Joey finished almost bragging about Bobby, Dan posed an invitation to come back any time. “If there isn’t a room available, you can have the couch!” he finished.

Joey thanked the other man a few times and hugged him in a tight bear hug. He felt relieved that he had a place to come back to when he visited. Finishing his lunch, he thanks Dan one more time before climbing three flights of stairs to the room he was occupying.

By the time Bobby’s text came in at three thirty, Joey was showered, packed and pacing the large bedroom.

“Car is done. Runs good. Be there soon to pick you up.” the message read.

Joey grabbed his bags and left the room, looking back at the bed he and Bobby shared so comfortably before he closed the door. He didn’t see another soul as he descended the stairs, walked through the house and out the front door where he waited for the black Mustang to come up the gravel driveway.

Gazing across the expansive front porch and over the front yard, sadness creeped into his heart. Many of the good and bad memories rushed through his mind. Joey couldn’t remember ever feeling so free and unrestrained in his life. ‘I’ll definitely carry this weekend with me for a long time!’ He committed to himself.

Lost in his memories, the didn’t notice Tre watching his Camero coming up the gravel driveway. He didn’t even notice his Camero until it was almost at the end of the driveway. He had been expecting the growl of Bobby’s little hot rod.

Joey stood and picked his duffle bags off the porch and walked towards his car. Bobby had already exited the drivers side and was walking towards him. He extended one hand, reaching for a bag before handing the keys to Joey. Bobby took possession of the sending bag and lead Joey to the back of the car.

Once the hatch was raised, Bobby set the bags in the back of the car and the lid was closed. The two faced each other for a few awkward seconds while Bobby considered stealing a kiss. Joey, smiling a goofy smile was hoping Bobby was bold enough to lean in and at least brush those beautiful pink lips to his own.

“Ready?” Bobby asked finally breaking the weird silence, in turn breaking a little piece of Joey’s heart before turning towards the passenger side of the car.

“Ah, no.” Joey responded stopping Bobby and spinning him around. “Thank you!” Having to stand on his tippy toes, Joey made his move and kissed Bobby. Much to his delight, Bobby didn’t flinch away for the brief encounter, but pushed in to reciprocate. The boys broke away from their peck kiss and got in the car leaving the house and Tre, unnoticed in the window behind them.

“So,” Joey looked over at Bobby, “I had an interesting talk with Danny this morning.” He emphasized the first word trying to add intrigue to the information he was about to share with Bobby.

Bobby glanced at Joey and raised his eye brows showing he was curious about what was coming next so Joey continued. “Well, it started kind of weird. He tried to put the make in me.” Bobby’s forehead wrinkled in a scowl. “I stopped him and he respected that. Ultimately I confessed my interest in you and he offered his house to me when I come back to visit you.” He finished trying to ease the wrinkles on Bobby’s brow.

“Really?” Bobby responded showing some disbelief in his question. “And you said…?”

“Thank you, and that would be super cool!” Joey offered.

Bobby agreed that it would be pretty cool but, “Don’t you think it would be kind of awkward? I mean he is my father’s friend” his fingers curved in air quotes with the last word. “I think it would be awkward for me.”

“Idunno. I didn’t really think before responding. I just though, a free place to stay when I come back.” Joey paused as he watched traffic before turning into the shop parking lot. “Besides, ain’t everything awkward the first time?”

Bobby thought about that as the Camero came to a stop in front of a closed bay door. The conversation continued when they got out of the car. “I guess you’re right.” Bobby confessed opening the door and waiving Joey inside. “Dad needs you to sign this receipt real quick.”

Joey took the paper from his friend and looked it over. On the paper, the work and parts were itemized showing the total cost should have been over five hundred dollars. At the bottom of the page, total due was all zeros with a hand written note “PLEASURE DOING business with YOU!” in the blank space.

His heart sank to his stomach in break neck speed. ‘Does he know?’ Joey’s head was spinning and his mouth dried out. He didn’t know if he thought Bobby looked mad, disappointed or if it was all in his head.

Joey looked back down at the paper, the capital letter secret code, he hoped it was secret. ‘Was that why he was hesitant to kiss me back there?’ He looked around the service desk for a pen before seeing Bobby holding one out.  brown eyes felt cold when they made eye contact.

Joey scribbled his signature under the hand written message before flipping the paper upside down and sliding it away from them. Disappointment in himself enveloped Joey.

He didn’t want to hurt Bobby. Worse yet, ‘You could lose him you dumb ass!’ Joey scolded himself in deafening silence. The few seconds of silence was killing Joey as he considered all of the ramifications of his weekend. “Bobby?” His voice shook as He decided he needed to fall on his own sword.

Bobby nodded his head “Huh?” cementing the fact to Joey that he knew.

“I did some things I’m not proud of this weekend. Had some things done to me that I’m not exactly proud of too.” Joey watched Bobby’s face for some kind of expression, but his poker face was strong. “I didn’t have the money to cover this when my car broke down and Danny said he’d take care of it.” The words were getting harder and harder to articulate with the fire of his emotions burning his heart. “I didn’t know what, I didn’t expect…”

Joey lost it. Tears poured out from his eyes, his sound choked into silence. He was seconds away from collapsing and fighting to keep himself upright. Gulping though the thick sobs, he tried to regain control of himself and his thoughts. But when he looked up and the other man, standing there so stoic and so cold that ended everything. Joey felt himself fade, his strength and balance left him and he toppled.

He didn’t feel himself hit the ground. Instead, Bobby’s arms were around him and holding his slumped and sobbing body. There were still no words and Joey couldn’t see through his tear blurred eyes, so he didn’t have a clue as to what Bobby was thinking. All he could do was sob and repeat “I’m so sorry!”

“I told my dad I didn’t want him here when we got back.” Bobby started slow. His words were short, cold and direct. “I came home last night. I was feeling some kind of way I’d never felt. It was because of you Joey.” His voice caught for a second. “I ah, I came out to my dad. I was expecting it to go so differently.”

Joey had stopped repeating his apology and was listening to every word. His face was cast down to the floor where he could see his heart about to get stomped on.

“He fucking laughed at me Joey!” This time there wasn’t any holding back. His voice harsh and low, “Laughed. Then he said ‘with that slut?’” Bobby went silent suddenly changing from anger to sadness. “He told me about Danny’s deal to pay for this. He told me how appreciative… he used that word… that you were.” His voice cracked again before he stopped talking.

Joey pulled himself back into his feet with his own power and cleared tears from his stinging eyes. “Can I explain? Please?” He waited but there was no response. Joey could new see the pain clearly in Bobby’s glossy brown eyes. “I’ll tell you everything?”

Moving from standing in front of the desk, Bobby walked over and sat on the couch. There was a hesitation in his voice, but he agreed to listen.

Joey sat on his knees on the floor in front of Bobby and started telling his story.  He started way back before his car broke down, how he and his ex girl drifted apart and he ended the relationship, his planned trip and the breakdown that detoured his get away.

“I got so drunk my first night here. Damn King David’s moonshine.” He stopped and gathered this next part. “Tre carried me upstairs did things to me while I was passed out in his bed.”

Bobby’s body tensed and his fists clenched tight. “What the fuck?” He growled. “What things?”

“I don’t know exactly, I was out. But he confessed to fucking me.”  Joey choked on his words.

“That piece of shit son of a bitch!” Bobby started to stand. Joey was sort of in the way and tried to push him back into the couch.

“Bobby please?” He pleaded with the other man. “I woke up the next morning and knew something happened. I asked, he told me. But if I’m being honest, aside from the rape thing, it was something I’d kind of thought about.” He confessed hoping that would ease some of the anger he watch Bobby struggle to repress.

“It set off a chain of reckless and exploratory events until I met you. Something changes…”

“My dad?” Bobby interrupted in a growl.

“Danny had my car brought here. When the estimate came back I freaked out. I guess he knew I was doing things and he set up a payment option. Between feeling a whole different side of myself, honestly, enjoying the attention and freaking out about my car I agreed to their terms. But then I met you!” Joey tried to soften the information he was giving Bobby.

“What was the payment option?” Bobby asked shortly but not sweetly.

“Bobby, do you really want to know?”

“I already know asshat! I need to hear you say it. Please,” he snapped. “Continue!”

Joey felt all of his emotions burning up again as he tried to speak. “Your dad wanted to fuck me and said if I let him the repair was free. So I did.” Joey looked at Bobby. When they’re eyes met he said “I met you baby. That night at the party, your dad brought me specifically to introduce me to you.”

“My dad is a prick!” Bobby added not dropping eye contact with the man in his knees in front of him. “He did this to fuck with me.”

“He didn’t know you’d let me do things to you did he?” Joey asked.

“Not that. When he found out, he found a way to hurt me. And it works Joey.” It was the first time Bobby sounded anything but angry. He sounded more, defeated to Joey than anything. “I’m leaving. Soon.” Bobby told him.

“I don’t know.” He looked around the front office. “Where are you going?”

Confusion set in Joeys mind. “Perrysburg?”

“I think I’m going to Perrysburg.” Bobby answered.

Joey’s face changed, he squinted his eyes. “You’re coming with me?” He waited for a response. “After all of this?”

“Not really with you Joey. But I’d like to come there after I get some things settled. And I’d like to hang out with you.” Bobby added, “I’m sorry for putting you through this like this. I needed to hear it from you. I needed to understand in your words, not my fucking father’s. Mostly Joey, I needed to know how you felt.

“No Bobby! I’m so sorry. For so much.” He felt a smile trying to break through. “I made bad choices and didn’t know I would meet you and something click inside me.” Joey felt his emotional state waning back to normal.

“Ok. I’m sorry Joey, but he’s gonna be back soon and I’d really rather you not be here when he does.” Bobby felt protective of Joey and knew his dad was a prick. “Let me walk you out and I’ll call you later?” He stood up and wrapped his arms around Joey. “I don’t know exactly what my plan is, but I’ll tell you what I know when I call you.”

Joey melted into Bobby’s compassionate embrace. “I thought I lost you before I even had you.”

“I don’t know Joey. I know that I like the way I feel with you, I know that I believe everything you said and the emotions you conveyed. And I know my dad is an asshole and I need to get away from him…” He looked into Joey’s red swollen eyes, “and I think we can get past this once I’m out of this crumby little town.”

Bobby walked Joey to his car, hugged him again and offered a quick but meaningful kiss before Joey got in. “I’ll call you soon, k?”

He watched Joey leave the parking lot. Bobby already missed the boy and he was barely out of sight. Bobby didn’t know what his future held, but he knew he had to get away from that time and those people. He also knew that he wanted to be close to Joey.

Sitting in his Mustang, he picked up his cell and dialed Joeys number, pushed send and waited.

“It’s only been… four minutes Bobby!” Joey joked into the phone.

“Shut up dork!” Bobby said from the other end of the connection. “This is what I’m thinking, I want your thoughts. It’ll take me about 2 weeks to get things to a point that I can leave. I want to come to Perrysburg. Get a job and an apartment and start life over.” He offered know it was a very vague and simple plan, but for now that’s all he had.

“Sounds easy enough. What do ya want my thoughts about? Seems that ya got it all figured out!” The sarcasm was not well hidden in Joey’s reply. Honestly, it wasn’t meant to be.

“Well, you know the city, so you know what areas are what.” Joey started. “I’m going to start looking for a job from here. Can you help me scout out shops that are hiring and apartments for me from your side?”

“Look for apartments and jobs for you, from Perrysburg?” Joey clarified his task.

“I mean, that is if you want too, if you want me to come to Perrysburg.” Bobby answered feeling a little like he was being cut from the scene.

“Yes. Yes I would like it if you were near me. I’d like to get to know you better.” Joey’s confirmation made Bobby smile, and Joey could hear it through the phone. “Yes, I’ll keep an eye out for mechanic jobs and an an apartment for you.”

Bobby bounced ideas off of Joey for the next thirty miles of his trip and the vague plan was set. Bobby would tie up some loose ends, gather some cash pack up and come to Joey in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile Joey would look for look for an apartment for Bobby, obviously convenient and close to his parent’s house so he could visit often and watch for now hiring signs for him

THE END!
