Flashback: Nudity Is Fun

It's a vintage grab bag today, emphasis on the grab. I was just watching a documentary called Strike a Pose about Madonna's "Vogue" video and Blonde Ambition tour dancers. Sure that was a pop culture moment and she did push boundaries (for profit). At one point, she was supposedly going to be arrested for obscenity in Italy. Her regret is that she didn't.

I got to the point after the tour where there was a bunch of legal drama, but my reason these shots made me think of it is because of some glowing, fawning gay guys in it who waxed nostalgic about the gay kiss in Truth or Dare (the companion "documentary" to the tour) as being the first male-male kiss they saw. So I was all, you need to go back in time and look at more damn porn.

Of course porn doesn't solve everything, and maybe it's a bit unromantic and unclear to have it be one's first images of male on male affection, but that's what imagination is for. It just seems ludicrous to be so impacted by Madonna in any way. People need to be more impacted by what comes from within. And they need to watch more damn porn.

And, if these vintage shots are any indication, they also need to play wheelbarrow and romp naked in a field and romp naked in a tackily decorated room. All of these are fun as hell games.

But probably the most fun game of all is get really close to a guy and rub your bodies together until you spurt. Now if that had been in a Madonna video, then maybe I could respect the situation more. But she kept those dancers like her gay pets.

Wait, my phone just rang and Madonna wants me for her next tour. Hope she doesn't find out I can only dance incredibly for about 37 seconds at a time before I have to rest for half an hour, during which I'll be looking at vintage porn. But it will be an amazing 37 seconds.
