SD Boy stands for San Diego Boy, and you may be familiar with this studio's titles. Many of the videos here feature military and college guys from San Diego who are a great collection of all-American jocks and soldier boys with a few cute euro guys mixed in. The action here is a combination of solo and hardcore, and some of the hardcore is bareback. The tour promises us 3 video updates per week, DVD content that can only be seen online at this site, downloadable videos with no DRM. That sounds good to me, so I'm off to check out the member area of SD Boy!

The member area is intuitive and very easy to find your way around. There are navigation links running across the top of the page followed by a list of the latest updates - a new video is added every 2 to 3 days. Next comes linked thumbs to the latest videos, then pic sets, and then a good preview thumb and description of the upcoming video update. Everything is clear and well laid-out, and there are no banner ads cluttering up the page. Before we get into the content, I wanted to mention the frequent update schedule - last month there were 13 movies added to the site, and this month with a week to go there have been 9 videos added.

There are currently 84 videos inside SD Boy with a new video added every 2 - 3 days. Videos are offered in 2 downloadable versions - WMV shown at 640x480 with a bitrate of 1.49 Mbps and MP4 shown at 320x240 with a bitrate of around 500k. These are mostly good amateur quality, and while they could be a bit sharper, they're pretty good movies with good sound that play smoothly and don't use DRM. For those who don't feel like downloading the videos, there's also a streaming WMV that's shown at 320x240. This is a bit lower in quality, but as long as you don't go full screen with it, it's not bad. All the videos are full scenes and each comes with a set of vidcaps.

Each video starts with a military march-type theme and an American flag with a military-type logo to help get us in the mood, and it really does. Then depending on the video, we either jump right into the action or else start things off with an interview. The guys of SD Boy are mostly 18 to 24 years old, and many are military boys. The rest of the models are college jocks and amateurs, and if you like guys in this age group, I think you'll like what you find here. Some of the videos are solo, and many are straight guys jacking off. The rest of the videos are hardcore and feature all kinds of action from cock sucking to rimming and fingering to serious ass pounding. The videos have plenty of closeups of the cocks, the action and the cumshots.

SD Boy also offers 32 photo sets. Each set is production stills from one of San Diego Boy Video's DVD titles. For those who aren't familiar with production stills, these are high quality pics taken before or during a video shoot so that there will be some high quality pics for the box covers and maybe for a poster or other ad. These are mostly posed pics rather than pics from the actual action of the DVDs, and are average quality. They can be browsed in thumbnailed galleries or watched as hands-free slideshows. Since all the titles are already listed there, all with pics, the video section has not updated in a while.

In addition to the videos, pics and vidcaps, SD Boy members also get access to 9 gay feeds in a variety of niches. The site also has a link to live cams, and while these can be fun, they do require a fee be paid for full nudity or action.

SD Boy impressed me with its simple navigation, 3 weekly video updates and the fact that they lived up to all the promises on the tour including 84 downloadable videos with no DRM. I like the search feature, the juicy descriptions of each scene and especially the guys - plenty of 18 - 24 year old soldiers, jocks and college guys. The camera work on the videos is good, offering plenty of closeups of the action as the guys suck each others' cocks or stroke their meat. As an extra, members get access to 9 bonus gay sites. The bottom line is that whether you're a fan of the studio - San Diego Boy Video - or you just love clean-cut military and college guys in action, SD Boy is definitely worth checking out!
