Gay Pornstar Harem Review

Today we're checking out a new online gay video game called Gay Pornstar Harem. I've reviewed games for GayDemon in the past, and some of them were fun and entertaining. In this game, you collect gay porn stars. Available porn stars to collect include Steven Lee (who's filmed for Falcon), Vinnie D'Angelo (Titan, Hot House), Grant Ducati (Next Door Studios, CockyBoys) and lots more stars who've appeared in gay porn for a variety of studios. Some of the guys you can seduce in the Night-club, others you can win in various games. There are over 30 porn stars to collect and many levels

Your character meets with a character called Angel, and you click next to get from individual porn pic to porn pic, usually part of a series, with a little plot mixed in - then it's time to join for free. Once you create a free account, official play starts. Your character wants to create his own gay porn site, although soon after, you want to learn to please any and every man instead. When you join, you get 212 XP, which seem to be one of the coins used in the game. To get from screen to screen in the early levels, you simply spend one coin, which never seems to run low, and you have stats on the page tops showing where you are in the level and so on. Again, many pages have a porn picture that is part of a series used in the activity, and a bit of narration to move along the plot.

Now let's talk about how GayPornStarHarem works. You can play for free and pay for power-ups, or you can join and get some free power-ups and coins, diamonds and other perks daily, plus you can store more power-ups and coins. There are some additional perks like having up to eight team slots, seasonal rewards and the ability to collect all for free - otherwise it costs some game money. They also say "No More ADs!" Free and paid members can initially get 150 gold by verifying their email.

When I got to the Night-club, there were three levels - Epic, Equipment and Great. You get one free game per day with each, but a game is simply clicking something and claiming a reward or a harem member. There are no pics, no storyline, just clicking. The same was true in one of the adventures on level 11; to get to level 12, you just spend some lightnings to move from screen to screen, each with a porn pic from a scene. After going through a few screens, I ran out of lightnings and had to wait for them to refill, then I continued.

By level 11, I had spent all my lightnings, so I had to collect more or I had the choice to pay for more with a credit card. More things started to cost game money which I didn't have, so I started finding myself on pages where I could spend real money on my credit card to buy game money and power-ups or wait until money or lightning had regenerated, spend them, then wait again.

Unlike some similar games, my harem in GayPornStarHarem didn't seem to make me much in the way of money or power-ups, and at level 12, this game didn't have any game play allowing you or your harem to earn gold or other game money by doing anything - over a period of minutes, you simply generate more lightings or game coins. There's also no town to go into with activities.

By level 13, I had added experience and affection to my harem, which cost game money - there's nothing to play to make this happen. I was still in adventure level Falcon, which had simply had me spend lightning to advance, also with no real play. At this level, each time you spend another four to seven lightning, you'll see a new porn image; in this level, it was men having sex in the gym. I had purchased gifts, equipment, books and boosters for my guys in the market. I had gone to the Night-club, gotten my free games, and used game money to pay for some, but basically you just click and are awarded guys, equipment or a "variety of items". Activities is where you can find reward to claim for doing this like finishing daily missions, selling items and so on. And you can navigate through everything and occasionally pay to collect game money that accumulates over time; note that subscribing members collect for free. 

There are a couple last things to be aware of. First, while the monthly membership says it recurs every 30 days, the quarterly and 6-month memberships don't mention whether they rebill or not. Also, the same music plays throughout the game. It's upbeat with what sounds like an organ playing - it sounds like the fake pop music they used in the '60s and '70s TV shows to avoid paying licensing fees. If you get tired of it, you can turn it off in settings.

I spent several hours inside Gay Pornstar Harem on my computer and phone, but honestly I didn't find much to do except click and spend game money and boosts, in some levels see pics that seemed to be from somewhat older porn movies and pay to shop. Halfway through level 12, I only had two guys in my harem - Angel and Antony Gimenez, and each had a single smallish and somewhat unflattering pic. I've enjoyed the other gay porn games I've played, but this one seemed less entertaining to me. Luckily you can play for levels and levels without pulling out a credit card, so you can decide if you have enough fun to either pay to join or pay for gold and boosts.
