AlternaDudes is not your run-of-the-mill gay porn site with perfect porn models - the guys here are unconventional alternative types like skaters, goths, emo boyz, punks, and rockers. They represent underground, street, and indie types with unique looks, wild hair, and they're wearing lots of piercings and tattoos. Because of the eclectic mix of guys, the site has always been one of our favorites. 

The guys at AlternaDudes are quite a mix, and they range throughout their twenties, although there are some guys in their thirties and some a little older. Their bodies range from slim to athletic, and some have some muscle definition. There are lots of tattoos and body piercings (nipples, cocks, noses and more), and some of the performers are quite heavily inked. There are plenty of long-haired guys here who look like rockers, bikers or punks, and there are a few guys with dreadlocks, others with Mohawks, and still more are bald. Many of the guys are wearing face scruff or full beards, but there are quite a few who are clean shaven, too. Not every guy here sports an alternative look, but what most of them share is that they would never land a gig with the likes of Falcon Studios, and that's a plus for this site in my books.

Some of the performers here are straight but willing to go gay-for-pay while others are gay or bisexual; regardless, all of them seem to enjoy showing off in the videos. I also saw nine viudeos featuring FTM trans guys. Many of the models are Caucasian, but there are a good number of men of color, as well. Most of the guys here haven't done a lot of filming in Pornland, but I did see some well-known performers including Maxx Stoner, Joel Someone, Cliff Jensen, Kieron Knight, Jamie Ray, Christian Matthews, Justin Case, Kamrun, Tristan Matthews, Mason Lear, and August Alexander.

The action is a mix of solos, duos, and threeways. The latest 12 scenes feature six suck and fuck duos, there's one threeway, and three videos with four or five guys, as well as two solos. Generally, the solo guys stroke their cocks, some finger their hairy assholes or play with sex toys, and I saw one guy fisting his own hole. The hardcore sessions include lots of sucking and fucking, and until recently it was condom action, but there are 36 scenes tagged as bareback. Many of the scenes are servicing sessions with one guy blowing another and eating his cum, and many videos feature rough sex or domination. Cum eating and facials are favorites here, too.

AlternaDudes offers 453 exclusive videos in MP4 format. All of the newest downloads are sized at 1920x1080 and 1280x720 with a small one at 720x480; the oldest episodes have two sizes at 720x480 and 640x360. While I'd say all the videos are good amateur quality, the newer ones have an edge when it comes to sharpness and clarity. You can also stream the videos using an adaptive player that adjusts them to fit your screen size; on my 27-inch monitor they played as large as 1390x78. The streaming vids have two or three speeds depending on their age. In cases where there are multiple speeds, the highest usually fares best in full-screen mode. And the site is fully compatible with mobile devices, and generally the videos look better on smaller devices like my Android phone and tablet.

There are also 426 galleries in the Photos section. The galleries are a mix of good quality digital stills sized at around 768x102 and screencaps sized at 1024x576 at average to good quality. You can download entire picture sets in zip files or save the pictures individually. There's no slideshow feature on the galleries, but there are forward and back controls.

Now let's talk about updates. Alterna Dudes has added 77 videos over the past 29 months, and while they never stopped producing content, some of their updates are recycled while others are new productions. In July 2020, the site fell under management of the company that takes care of Peter Fever and Raw Hole, among others, and they expressed then their desire to get production up to weekly updates. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. So far with only six days left in February, they've added one scene; they added three in January, and five in December, although four of those were added on the same day. I also notice that two of the newest releases are scenes from another of this company's sites called Real Men Fuck, and without an exhaustive comparison I can't tell how many others there might be.

There is some bonus content included in your membership. There are 15 videos from Badpuppy in the members area as well as three videos from each of the bareback sites Dudes Raw and Cum Pig Men, and another two videos from Asian jock site Peter Fever.

When it comes to issues, there are a few things to discuss. First, when you join Alterna Dudes you're automatically signed up to receive commercial emails with no way to opt out at the time you join. Next, you're only allowed to download 40 GB of videos daily, and while no one likes limits, this one is quite generous. The site also does not allow automated downloaders that grab more than five videos at the same time. And it's worth mentioning that while the older episodes feature lots of fresh-faced alt twinks, a lot of the newer episodes feature guys who aren't boyish or cute, and some of the guys here aren't particularly alt either, although there are lots who are.
                        
If you like rockers, emos, skaters, punks, and other ALT and scene guys, it doesn't get much better than AlternaDudes. I loved the mostly amateur guys with a variety of indie looks with lots of tattoos, Mohawks, piercings, wild hairstyles, lots of studs and spikes, and plenty of hard cocks. And then there are some porn stars and not-so-alt dudes, as well. The 453 exclusive videos can be downloaded, streamed, and viewed on your mobiles. While some of the updates are recycled, the site produces new content, but the update schedule is haphazard. And this is one of the few sites out there in this niche, so if you're into hot alternative guys you'll have lot to keep you busy.
