Gay DVD Network's tour shows a variety of performers from their early 20s through their 40s, some tattooed while others are not, some hairy while others are smooth, and some have facial hair ranging from face scruff to trim (or not so trim) beards. There's lots of oran and anal sex including cock riding, rimming and there's plenty of sucking and fucking. But do these tour images give a good idea of what the member area has to offer? Join me and find out.

The site offers a lot of variety when it comes to the men and the action; in fact, there's a lot more variety in the member area than is previewed on the tour. There are lots of amateurs, porn regulars from a few years ago or longer, twinks, black studs, Latin guys, white men and straight guys; there are performers from the Czech Republic, men in uniform, muscle hunks, daddies and more. And the sex happens indoors in beds, at desks and on couches, and in the gym, plus there's plenty of outdoor sucking and fucking, as well. Plus there are some solos. You'll find scenes with themes like military, gangsters, blue collar, college guys and more.

The videos here are scenes from older DVDs; many are no longer available to buy or are currently on clearance, but there are some commercially available titles, as well. Some vids are from DVDs I've seen around for years like Legend's "Hair Klub For Men Only"; there's 1995's "Starry Eyed Boy", and a somewhat newer title with scenes I liked is 2009's "Cock Shop" from Street Trade Studios. There are titles from East Harlem Productions including "Black Nut Busters", "Black Brothers Working Hard" and "Walkin The Dawg". You'll find 2004's "Brazilian Cock Club" from All World's Video, Gentlemen's Video's 2005 release "Boner Brigade" and for those into hairy men, there's "Hairassment", realed in 2000. I found some true classic porn like Bijou Classics' 1984 release, "Student Bodies". And there are plenty more videos, most from the late '90s and earlier half of the 2000s.

Gay DVD Network offers 4,415 videos in MP4 format, and seems to add one to two videos many days and sometimes add no updates for a day or two. Each video can be downloaded in a single size at 600x400 (I found one at 600x450), and since the videos are shot by a variety of studios, and most over 10 years ago, quality varies from average to good amateur at their original size, although since they're fairly small, I wouldn't recommend enlarging them to full screen unless you're on a smaller tablet. Each video can also be streamed in a small player, which I also wouldn't recommend enlarging to full screen; the videos looked best on my phone. There are no photo sets.

Before we go further, there's something you should know - the videos here are from 429 Videos, a network with many sites. The biggest differences between this site and 429 Videos are that 429 Videos has over 2,000 more videos, offers picture sets (which this site doesn't), and last, offers the ability to browse by themed site, so you can find black videos or Latin videos or bareback videos. Gay DVD Network offers no tags or categories, so if you're only looking for bareback sex or Latin guys, you'll have to go through all the videos to find them.

There are some more downsides. When you join this site, you are automatically signed up to receive commercial emails with no way at that time to opt out.  Trial members may get limited access. This site has plenty of ads; if you pause a video, and ad will pop up over the player, the top of the home page has a row of thumbs showing women, and these are live cam ads, as is the link in the menu that says "Live Boyfriends". There's a large, animated banner with the video listings, and last is the row of animated ads on the page bottoms. And there are things that get in the way of a good experience. If you want to list the videos so you view the newest first, be sure to click "Newest" on the left side of the page you're on; otherwise you'll be looking at videos added in 2015 and 2016. There's no scene descriptions or performer names, either.

Let's talk about tour claims, because unfortunately the claims they show are there to get you to join and have nothing to do with what the site actually offers. The join page says they offer "10 New Gay videos added daily", but they usually offer one to to updates per day, and some days have no updates at all. The claim of "The largest online Gay Porn Archive" simply isn't true as I've reviewed larger sites. Next is "Lightning fast download speed", easy to claim since the videos are so small, so of course they download quickly. And then there's "Voted top gay porn site of 2016". Since even the newer productions are offered small and lower quality, there are no model profiles or categories, many of the ads are straight and this site has no personality, I'd say we can overlook this claim.

The biggest claims issue I have regards the entire tour page. It shows sharp, clear, well-lit images, and you won't find that level of quality from any of the videos. And last is the site title. While the scenes in the member area are, indeed, from DVDs, they're not offered as full DVDs to watch or download, and scenes from each DVD aren't linked to the other scenes.

Gay DVD Network offers a wide variety of men and action from solos to kink, and lots of suck and fuck action. You'll find daddies, hunks, average guys, real amateurs, Latinos, black guys, although I didn't find any Asian performers. There are 4,415 videos to download, stream and watch on your mobiles, although they're not very large, most sized at 600x400. The site adds about seven updates per week, but instead of adding one video per day, they often add two videos on a single day and skip a day here and there. There are no bonus sites or picture sets, but what this site has is a lot of videos including many fans of videos from the '90s and early 2000s are probably going to enjoy. Still, if you want the same videos plus many more, pictures and sites by niche, you might consider 429 Videos instead.
