Having a sock fetish means that a person is attracted to people wearing socks or to the socks themselves. Some people are attracted to a particular kind of socks suck as dress socks or gym socks.

People with a sock fetish find socks, feet in socks and people in socks to be sexually appealing. Some people with a foot fetish may also have a sock fetish, but a person with a sock fetish is not necessarily attracted to feet and may not feel a sexual pull to a person once they are barefoot.

Some sock fetishists have a preference for a type of socks such as men's dress socks or white crew socks and they are turned on by seeing men who wear those socks. Other sock fetishists may prefer dirty socks or cotton socks. There are also some who find it sexual to watch the socks as they are being taken off.
