Older reference to a male who is promiscuous, or a philanderer. One who seeks another (usually younger, vulnerable) to satisfy their sexual needs.

Definition

More or less considered an obsolete term today. Used as a reference for someone who deliberately takes advantage of another, for their own pleasures. Closely related to the definition today of being a perve. Usually into short term affairs, merely for the sexual favours.
