I laid there, reading the fine lines embedded in the solid metal. Every curve was perfect. The obsidian was smooth, the metal was polished. The words echoed every time I read them, echoed throughout the fine jewelry, through my wrist, throughout my entire body down to the very last nerve endings and capillaries. I ran my thumb across it and made sure it was real. I knew the warmth I felt around me was real, along with the feeling of a gentle soul spooning me at this very moment. I knew the memories of last night were no dream. I knew the bracelet that was given to me from someone whom I loved with every ounce of self I had was real. But...the words. I questioned them so. How much truth did they contain? Were they as permanent in spirit as they were in their physical state? That I did not know...and it frightened me. I wanted so much to believe that these were as eternal as they were said to be. I yearned for that final closing that sealed it and showed me that these words were in no way a lie. I was desperate to believe that these words were pure. They were tainted though. Tainted by my own vile fear that was evidence of my weakness. No matter how much I wanted to indulge in the sweet, nourishing, wholesome peace that these words offered, I never would. Not until I learned to gather the courage to step out of my own fortress and into the light where new opportunities for happiness presented themselves at nearly every step. I twisted it around my narrow wrist a few times and dropped my hand back onto my pillow. Ray stirred behind me and nuzzled my neck, holding me tighter. A gentle smile formed on my face. In a way it was nice that even the slightest uncontrolled movements from me could potentially wake him up. A comforting thought that he was always up and ready if I needed him in the middle of the night due to a nightmare or whatever other reason. Come to think of it, I haven't had a nightmare in a while. I did my best to completely turn around and bury my face into his chest, and he responded with a sleepy grumble. The beginnings of a morning hardon was pressed against my stomach, and it became a completely stiff within seconds. I inhaled his scent and developed one of my own as I reached down and began stroking his engorged cock. I began imagining what it would be like to feel the head slipping in between my lips, how he would hold my head and thrust inside my mouth while I lashed my tongue around the tip of his cock. I felt a slight wetness on my fingertip and raised my hand to see them glistening with precum. I slipped a finger into my mouth and the taste exploded on my tongue, causing me to shuddered and gasp. His eyes snapped open and he rose a little to see what was happening. He looked at me in surprise to find me blushing with my finger in my mouth rather than a bawling, curled up mess. I saw the muscles of his jaw tighten, and he swallowed. I removed my finger from my mouth and felt myself get hotter.

"Whatcha doing there Levi?" he said gently with a soft smile. I continued to stare at him and I saw him reach his hand under the cover and come up with his own slick hand. He glanced at it and smirked.

"Is this what you were enjoying for breakfast?" he chuckled and slipped a finger into my mouth. I reached up and held his hand as I licked every bit of precum from in, letting out small moans as my cock throbbed. I heard him take a deep inhale and he hesitantly extracted his finger.

"Oh Levi, what am I going to do with you?" he sighed and hugged me. Our dicks slid against each other and I shivered.

"So damn cute," he mumbled and kissed me. I pulled away and covered my mouth.

"Morning breath," was all I said. He cocked an eyebrow, took his hand to the back of my head and crushed me back on his lips. After he pulled away and looked e in the eye.

"Does it look like I even care, Levi? After seeing you do that you should at least give me a kiss." and he smiled again. I closed my eyes and rested my head back on his chest, feeling a very light dampness. I must've really worked him up. He ran the palm of his hand up and down my back and a light snore was produced shortly after his movement ceased. I slipped out from under his arms with much effort and bent down to graze my lips across his warm cheek. His eyes fluttered open and he stared at me.

"I'll be back," I smiled and padded off to the restroom. I emptied my bladder, brushed my teeth real quick, and splashed cold water on my face. As I dried my face with a towel, I gazed at my reflection, with only my eyes peeking over the towel. I slowly lowered it and inspected my too long hair, my blue eyes, my slender face. I exhaled and buried my face back into the towel and quickly finished up. I peeked out the door and saw Ray sitting at the edge of the bed hunched over. I quietly stepped out and came around to find him fingering the watch that I had given him. He slipped his finger under the face of the watch and felt along the back. I came to his side and he snapped his head in my direction with a hard countenance that softened at the sight of me. I smiled gently and sat down next to him and placed my hand over his wrist. I tilted over and kissed him lovingly, just a kiss, one without tongue. He hesitantly pulled away and looked up and down at my face with dreamy, glazed eyes. He pulled me into a rough and tight hug, taking deep breaths and sometimes kissing the top of my head. I closed my eyes and just allowed him to express what he was feeling, and to reassure himself silently that I was here to stay. I pulled myself partially away and rested my hand on his thigh while the other went to his face. I then tilted forward and our lips met once more, mutual love coursing between us through the constant display of affection. He pulled me down onto the bed and I laid on his chest, tracing my fingertips across his muscular chest and cuddling into him.

"Levi..." he sighed. I looked up at him and cocked my head. He paused, and shook his head.

"I don't know why I'm so scared to shit lately,"

"Is it because I won't have sex with you?" I asked meekly.

"Of course not! Levi, sex isn't everything!"

"Then it's just you being silly," I laughed and he flicked my cheek.

"You're so lucky that I love you," he chuckled rolling on top of me. The sudden cold draft blowing over my cold body made me shiver and curl up in response.

"Cold?" he asked. I nodded and he dropped his entire weight on me. I heard the numerous pops of my spine and the wind was knocked out of me. I gasped for air and coughed, trying with no avail to push him off of me.

"You've been eating too much," I squeaked.

"Your fault for making so much good food," he said nibbling on my ear.

"Ray,please," little spots of light were starting to appear in front of my eyes. The moment he rolled off I sat upright and gasped, filling my lungs with sweet oxygen and reshaping my ribcage back to its original shape.

"Ah babe," he said dragging me over next to him,

"What?" I panted.

"You're so frail," he said pinching my cheek and pulling me off the bed

"Hey, ow, OW! Let go!" I whined as I stumbled across the bedroom trying to keep up with him. He released me once we arrived in the bathroom.

"Fine, but only because I don't want you to die," he stuck his tongue out and closed the door to the small room with a toilet. I growled and rubbed my hand against my cheek. Jesus that hurt like a bitch. I inspected the red mark forming and pacing about the bathroom. I ended up just sitting on the counter, waiting for Ray to be done. The mirror felt cold against my back, but it was oddly comfortable. I glanced back at my reflection and did a double take.I extended a long lock of hair and it went all the way down past my nose to my lower lip. I bit my lower lip and contemplated on whether or not I should ask Ray to go to a stylist or cut my own hair again. The toilet flushed and Ray stepped out, nuking the place with air freshener before closing the door. He raised an eyebrow at me once he saw me sitting there.

" What?" he asked raising his hands. I shrugged and slid off, continuing to play with my hair.

"You're so odd sometimes," he said shaking his head and washing his hands.

"How??" I paused and gazed at his reflection. He squeezed a glob of toothpaste onto his toothbrush and stood up straight.

"Sometimes you give me these odd looks that makes me feel judged," he grinned and shoved the plastic stick in his mouth. I smirked and poked his arms with my fingers.

"Judge judge judge judge judge judge," I chanted and continued to do that until he hunched over the sink sputtering and coughing.

"Damn it Levi!" He half laughed and half choke.

"Juuudging you!" I sang and flitted out of the bathroom. I was only halfway down the stairs before Ray bounded behind me and scooped me up, running and bouncing me around. He threw me onto the sectional and I ended up bouncing off and landing on the floor.

"Fuck you Ray!" I yelled at his distant laughed.

"The man always eats first!" He called out.

"What kind of man throws his lover halfway across a room?!" I yelled back, making my way towards the kitchen. His head peeked out and he shrugged. "A big strong man?" and he darted back in. I joined him by the fridge, and we browsed through leftovers from yesterday. I noticed from the corner of my eye how he kept eyeing the bracelet on my wrist. I pulled out a plate and pulled the foil off.

"This is nice, hunh?" I asked pushing the plate into the microwave.

"What?" he asked. I leaned back against the counter and looked at him.

"This. The simple, playful mornings," I grinned He flashed a smile back and ran his fingers through his hair. "You know I always enjoy every moment with you Levi,"

"Well, not every moment," I replied and pulled the food out. He grabbed the plates and utensils and followed me to the table. As I placed the plate onto the table I felt him come up close behind me and he leaned in with his arms bracing himself against the table at both sides.

"Levi..." he breathed. I closed my eyes and felt his warm breath on my neck. "Yes Ray?"

"Why am I so in love with you?" he whispered and kissed my neck.

"I should be asking the same," I said softly. An arm went around my chest and the other went to my waist, pulling me against him.

"God Levi," he inhaled deeply and his hand went up my shirt. His fingers grazed my nipple and I shook. His other hand held my chin and tilted my head back as he nibbled on my ear and his growing member was burning against my back through the fabric. Suddenly he released e and stumbled back, shaking his head. "You're so irresistible..." he mumbled and rubbed the back of his neck. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

"In time, Ray," I said and took my seat. He did the same and helped himself to the food. We ate in silence, each of us reserved to our own thoughts. We eyeballed each other's gifts and felt the sudden realization that what was written could not be undone. There was proof. It was set in stone. When we said it was imprinted in our memories yes, but it was now manifested into something physical that we would carry with us constantly as a reminder of the bond that we shared. We finished eating and we cleared the table, leaving a whole day free to do whatever we want. We stood around idly milling about and Ray took my hand into his.

"Let's go swimming," he smiled. We both darted to the pool and flung our pants off before flinging ourselves into the lukewarm water. I rose to the surface and felt his hands resting on my torso. He turned me around and pressed a kiss on my lip, one that escalated to moans as I sucked on his tongue and he jerked me closer against him. He reached around and slid his finger between my cheeks and began rubbing my hole, applying gentle pressure, definitely not enough to penetrate. He pulled back a little to tug on my lower lip with his teeth and proceeded to tease my nipples with his fingers whilst watching my reactions. By the time we released each other we were panting with effort to control our primadorial instincts to lunge at each other and do the deed. We both sighed and unison and I bit my lower lip, on the other hand Ray dragged his hands up and down his face.

"Remind me how I'm still a virgin," I groaned and patted my burning cheeks.

"Babe, that is as much of a mystery as the Bermuda Triangle."

"With the exception that men don't disappear when they're inside of me," I giggled. That even got a good chortle out of him. "Fuckin love you," he said and dipped under water. His rippling shape torpedo through the water to the other side and back to the same spot. He boomed out of the water with a dramatic rise and gasp.

"Show off," I smirked and floated on my back in a random direction.

"You're still half hard," he pointed out.

"Stop staring. It's impolite."

"Can't really help it....it's just there.

"There are four other directions you can look in and you also have the option of closing your eyes and going underwater. Trust me, you have ways NOT to notice." I stood upright and shook the water out of my hair. He swam up to me and looked down. "I also have the option to kiss you."

"Too bad it's not fucking yet," I shrugged, ignoring the guilt that puffed up after that comment.

"Eventually it will be," he chuckled and grabbed my ass underwater. I did my best to bounce up in reaction to that and dived underwater away from him. Unfortunately (Well....more like fortunately), I was dating a huge jock and he was right there breathing calmly when I came up.

"Oh fuck off," I huffed. He winked and we swam around to pool, doing laps or just floating around watching the sun rise higher and higher. When we decided to go out, Ray lagged behind and remained in the pool while I was drying myself off. I stared down at him and raised questioning palms.

"Why are you still in there?" I asked. He paddled over to the edge and raised himself out, "The view was good from there. So I thought I would stay and watch you,"

"Why don't you just eat me?"

"That could be taken another way, and I can totally do it."

"Why don't you get your mind out of the gutter?"

"Because your mind is getting to be just as filthy as mine is." he said with pinpoint accuracy.

"You talk too much,"

"You know you love hearing me talk," he said following me inside.

"Yes, Yes ramble on crazy man," I retorted without effort and he jogged in front of me.

"How about some music?" he asked. I raised an eyebrow and stopped walking.

"What kind?" I asked apprehensively. He flashed and grin and reached for my hand. "The piano of course. It's been a while since we played," and he looked outside through a window, "Plus it's a beautiful day. It seems right at this moment." I felt him squeeze my hand, and I nodded. He held my hand all the way up until we came to his room, and latched onto my hand again when we were fully clothed again.

"Are you afraid I'm going to fly away?" He pursed his lips and shifted his gaze to the ground.

"No, I...I just feel like it." he said. I felt a flutter in my chest. The lump grew in my throat and I choked back a sudden urge to cry. It was strange...affection wasn't anything new of course but this simple act compromised something inside of me. I turned away and pulled him towards the direction of the piano room.

"Come on," I said softly looking over my shoulder, "Let's go play some music."

He opened the doors to the piano room and threw the curtains open on each window, releasing a shocking amount of light into the room that bounced off the glossy surface of the piano. I rushed over to it and slid my hands across the top and whipped around and smiled.

"You really love this piano, I can tell," he chuckled and settled himself on the bench. I hopped up on top of it and beamed down at him.

"Of course! It's beautiful!" I chirped. Without even opening a book he danced his fingers rapidly across the keys and opened with something jazzy and upbeat that shot me full of the desire to push him off the bench and dance around the room. He kept his eyes on the keys with the occasional glance up at me to display the fire of life that sprung to life in the name of music. The beats progressed, his fingers went faster, and right at the finale he slammed his hands down on the finishing notes, sprung out of the bench and swooped me around the room, laughing hysterically . We hopped around, dancing to the silent music that lingered in our memories. He then threw me up in the air and caught me. We collapsed together on the hard, cold floor panting. Giggles slipped out in puffs of hot air, hands came together, lips met and happiness brightened. The influence that music had on us was amazing. It was the beauty for it to induce such moments of spontaneity that I so adored. I straddled his chest and wiggled on top of him.

"Your turn my lovely gentleman," he smiled. I nodded and padded over to the piano and played a song that he knew all too well, and that got both of us serenading the cheesy sweet words to each other. He did a little dance while singing, letting his voice boom and carry throughout what I'm sure was the entire house and he didn't care who heard. His attention was focused on me, and mine was on him. The air just vibrated with our activity song after song. We took turns playing whatever music came into mind, be it classical or the more modern ones that we managed to learn. We played till way past noon, our fingers worn and our throats sore from laughing. We reduced to slow, lazy music that served its purpose of winding down from all the action. I was sitting next to Ray with my head on his shoulders, watching his fluid motions. My head was comfortably rested but my ass was not. The bench wasn't all that fantastic after a while of sitting, so I stood up and walked around the room. No matter where I was, it sounded like I was right next to the piano. I heard the music stop, and when it began again its tone was solemn. I turned around and watched Ray from a distance. His eyes were closed and he made slight movements with his body according to the music. I stepped closer, and watched his fingers effortlessly glide across the keys. He didn't even open his eyes to see if I was paying attention. He just played. In turn, I leaned against the piano with my back to him and listened, becoming absorbed into it, letting the colors swirl in my soul till I couldn't indentify anything in it any longer.

"Honestly," he said softly, ending the song. I turned around and he kept his eyes on the keys.

"Honestly what?" I asked, puzzled. I began to worry when I saw him look up and an expression of distress was planted on his face. He stood up and walked over to me.

"Do you really mean what you said?" he said closing the distance between us.

"About?" I asked. He shook his head and sighed.

"That you would love me forever," he dropped his voice to barely above a whisper. I bit my lower lip and stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek. "Of course Ray. Is it that hard to believe?"

"A little..." he mumbled.

"Why?"

"Things,"

"What things?"

"Just things Levi," he said and looked away, "You know....you've said it before. What has been said cannot be taken back. But now," and he rubbed the watched with his thumb, "Now it's there. It's physically there and it's hard to believe that it's really true. Don't you understand?" He leaned back against the piano, "This relationship is becoming progressively solid and the deeper I get into it the more scared I become."

I came to his side and sat on the edge, fingering the bracelet. "Why didn't you just talk to me about this earlier?" I asked.

"I was trying to work it out in my head. I had to find the words for it." he said glumly. I rested my hand on top of his.

"Ray I know what you're feeling. I know it's hard to believe it sometimes." and I wiggled my fingers in between his, "Our relationship goes pretty smoothly. There's not a lot of conflict, and well.....it's unsettlingly blissful." I glanced up from our hands and kept talking. "But it is what it is Ray. We're just going through with what's coming up. I've found nothing to argue about, and everything that upsets you is said and discussed." and I paused for a deep breath, "We just have to learn to trust in each other."

"I never said I didn't trust you," he said softly, becoming alarmed.

"But you fear to let me completely inside." I replied

"And you don't?" he asked

"As to much of my regret, I do." I hesitated, "but I'm not afraid to move forward and let it happen along the way."

"I think that is how it is with both of us,"

"Then there should be no sense of urgency Ray." I raised my hand to his face and turned it so I could look him in the eye. It was a bold move on my part. Usually it was him that took that role, and it sent a twinge of surprise through me.

"We want the same things. We want to move at the same pace and we have similar fears. As different as we can be we're also so similar." I rubbed his stubble with my thumb and gave him a small smile. "Don't you see?" I continued, "We understand each other without even knowing it. We have nothing to fear but ourselves"

A nervous laugh escaped and I turned away. He grabbed my face and held it in place so our eyes made contact once more .

"Levi, what more can I ask for?" he smirked and looked at his feet, "What is there that you can't soothe that unsettles me, when can you never make me smile," he inched closer, "What's left to be done to make me stop being scared of the future?"

"I'm doing the best I can," I breathed. He smiled sweetly.

"Babe, I know you are. And I can ask for nothing more," and he kissed me. He caressed my face and moved his lips against mine, moving in between my legs and pulling my as close as our physical bodies would allow. I wrapped my legs around his hips and uttered soft moans as he kissed my neck and snaked his hands up my shirt.

"Ray," I moaned and he returned his lips back to mine. He pushed his tongue into my mouth and touched the very tip of mine, running his fingers through my hair and using his other hands to manipulate my voice to calling out his name. He pulled away and gently bit down on my ear.

"Levi, I know how intense we have been getting." he breathed and raised me off the piano. He carried me out of the room, holding me close. He mounted the stairs and kissed me constantly.

"And I know sometimes it's hard to control our passion," he said laying me down on the bed and climbing on top of me. He raised himself and was taking deep breathes, "I want you so bad," he rasped and attacked my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck and shuddered. I could feel his solid bulge grinding against my ass through our clothing, and my heart lurched in my chest when I began thinking : Was this it? Is this the moment we've both been hesitant to let happen? He latched his lips back onto mine and pinned my hands above my head, his hands fingering the waistband of my pants, and his grinding becoming more intense.

"Levi," he mumbled and nibbled on my ear

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"I really....REALLY need you."
