"You coming?" I nodded.

He looked at me with soft eyes, that seemed to suck me into his mind. "Hey, you've been off ever since we got in the shower. You alright?" He said with a look of concern, his eyebrows raised slightly. I nodded. "You're a bad liar, babe. What's up?" He asked, sliding closer to me on the couch.

"Nothing, really... Well, scratch that. You just wouldn't like it if I told you." I told him, looking down at his hands entwined in mine. He shook me so I would look at him.

"Now you have to tell me." He said seriously, holding me tight.

"Caleb, let me get over this by myself." I said softly, rubbing my thumb over his hand.

"Still don't trust me huh?" He said, shaking his head slowly. "Alex, you made me trust you, how can I get that back?" He asked with genuine curiosity.

"I never said I didn't trust you. Don't jump to conclusions. I'm just, in a bad spot. I said things and thought things I shouldn't have, Caleb. All I'm asking is, just let me do this by myself." I told him as simple as possible. He looked at me, rose from the couch and walked away, back upstairs. "Caleb..."

"Handle it by yourself. That's what you wanted." He said simply and continued up the stairs. Fuck. I pulled my phone out and looked at the message I still haven't read.

Seth: I love you. I love you so much, I'm... In love with you. And I think you know that. Just, please give me a chance. My imagination is running wild over here thinking about what you could be doing with Caleb, instead of me. I know you guys have a thing. Please, Alex, give me a chance. Please?

"Oh my god..." I stared at my phone and I could see the image begin to diffuse. The tears glazed over my eyes, and I felt heartbroken. He really cared for me. "But he left, and you finally got a chance with Caleb." I told myself, trying to make myself feel better. "But he left because of an emergency." I retorted. I clicked on his name, and then his number afterwards. I held the phone up to my ear as it rang... ... ...

"Seth, hey." I said, trying to keep myself together.

"Hey, babe! I was just about to call you."

"Oh, well cool. Uh, I- I read the message. I'm sorry." I told him, and my chest hurt from straining myself not to cry.

"Sorry about what? I meant what I said." I heard the serious tone in his voice.

"I know, and I love you too..."

"But?" He said before I could.

"I-uh- I'm in love with Caleb. I loved you, no, I still do. Just not like I love him." I could hear him breathing. It wasn't uneven, not too much, just simple, normal breaths. I waited.

"Damn it. I prepared myself for this too." He took a breath. "I'm gonna be home tomorrow, and I want to see you."

"Of course, Seth. I miss you." I told him immediately.

"Good. Love you, bye." He said quickly then hung up. As soon as I was sure the conversation was ended, I threw my phone at the wall, and fell back against the couch. I closed my eyes and clenched my fists, and tried to calm myself down. The emotions in my head drove me crazy.

"Babe." I heard from behind me. Caleb came over hugged me, and sat down next to me on the couch. I didn't look at him. "Don't ignore me, please. I wanna help, but I don't know how to get you to let me." He said, trying for my hand. I pulled away and sat back against the arm of the couch.

"I'm okay."

"You're lying."

"I'm. Okay." I said, heavily. He sighed and shook his head.

"Why do you insist on making our relationship so complicated?" He looked at me, and I could see the distress in his eyes. We'd been together for hours, and we already were hitting brick walls. I shook my head, and he pulled me towards him.

"No, Caleb." I told him, halfheartedly, but he continued. He pressed his lips against mine, and wrapped his arms around my torso. "Mmf." I mumbled between his kisses.

"Shh. Just, let it go." He whispered to me. I stopped struggling, and he, seeing that as an invitation, pulled me on top of him. He kissed me repeatedly, working his hands at my shirt. I sat up and pulled my shirt off, and then took his off too. He took me and squeezed me against him, no kissing included. He looked at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Do you know how much I love you?"

"I'm not sure, but I'm gonna guess a good amount." I joked lazily.

"I'm serious Alex." He hugged me again, and sat up, so I was sitting in his lap. I nodded. "I am. I love you so much." He paused and closed his eyes. "I don't want our relationship to be so distant. I want you to understand that I care about you, and love you. I want you to know that you're someone I can't live without. I want our relationship to be fun, Alex. You're 18, and all you do is worry about irrelevant shit. Shit you shouldn't have to worry about." He opened his eyes and looked at me, and at this point I know I was crying. I don't know, today has just been an off day.

"We're going out tonight." He said, so serious.

"What?" I asked back.

"You heard me, let's go."

"This is stupid..." I told him, unsure about his 'fantastic idea'. He got up and went upstairs and came back down a few minutes later with some clothes in his right arm. He threw them at me and went to my phone next.

"Caleb what're you doing?" I watched him walk around our...his house, and collect a variety of random things, including my phone. "Calebbb?" I asked him again.

"Shush babe." He said, barely putting any thought into his reply. When he was done, or I thought he was done, he came over and sat next to me. He turned the tv on with the remote, a collected item, and gave me a magazine type thing, another random item. He motioned his hand towards a picture in the magazine, and I looked down at where he pointed. A local club, popular for the most part. He was actually serious about this. He stretched, yawned, and stared at me, waiting for a reply. I just shrugged. "You're such a fucking bore, baby." He said, with mock sadness. I punched him in his chest and he coughed slightly.

"You're an ass." He shrugged and pushed his index finger in my shoulder.

"But I'm you're ass." He said with a smart ass tone. I laughed, and he smiled from ear to ear.

"Alex!" He said loudly, I jumped a bit.

"You laughed babe. That was like, the highlight of my day." He said cracking up. I laughed again, he was just too cute.

He hugged me and kissed me one good time, and handed me my phone. I looked at him and he slanted his head slightly. "What do you want me to do with it?"

He stared at me like I was a retard, and then he felt my forehead. "Alex, I was just giving you, you'reee phoneee." He said slowly, and I slimmed my eyes at him. He chuckled and took my phone back right after.

"Hey!" I yelled at him.

"Well you're the one that doesn't even know what the hell his own phone is anymore." He barely managed to get the sentence out through his laughing. I shook my head. When he was calmed down, he clicked the lock button on the phone, and turned the screen towards me, eyebrows raised.

"It's your middle name." I told him.

He looked at me angrily. "Gross." I watched him type in his middle name, D. A. L. L. A. S. When it let him into my phone, he shook his head and groaned. "Retarded ass middle name." He mumbled to him self. I giggled, softly, but despite my attempts to cover it up, he heard me. If looks could kill.

He brought up the keypad, and dialed a number I didn't recognize. When he put it up to his ear, he looked at me and mouthed something. I slanted my head. He smiled, someone picked up on the other line, he said hello, then leaned towards me repeating his earlier words. "Pizza, babe. What kinda pizza do you want."

"Oh, uh, I don't care." He looked at me, then leaned back, and continued on the phone. I listened to his professional sounding voice.

"Yes. Yes. No thank you. Yes, haha, I know, I know. Thank you. Okay, and how much is it? Okay. Thank you, goodbye." He hung up and handed my phone back to me. "Now we wait." I nodded, and he turned his attention to the tv. I tapped him and he turned back towards me. I waved over his bare torso with my hand, and he stared still.

"You don't wanna put on a shirt for the pizza?" I asked him, already imagining the weird scenarios playing out in my head. He shrugged, then smiled slyly.

"Would you be jealous if it was someone that was into me?" He asked, flexing his muscles, a look of mock lasciviousness on his face.

"If it was someone that was into you, they probably wouldn't make it back to the parking lot alive." I told him, in all seriousness. He started dying laughing.

"This is the Alex I love the most. The normal one!" He said, his hand on my shoulder. I laughed and he collected himself, and turned back to the tv, still laughing time to time.

It didn't take long for the pizza to come, and when it did, Caleb was quick with it. By the time he brought it back in, I was starving. "Eat up, I'm gonna go get ready." He said, on his way to the stairs.

"You're not gonna eat?" I asked him, already with a mouthful of pizza. He shook his head and continued towards the stairs.

"I should be ready in a half hour." He said, and I nodded in response.

"You ready yet?" I heard Caleb call from downstairs. I walked out of his room naked.

"I don't know, does it look like it?" I said, with a tone.

"Don't make me come up there, stud." He growled at me. I shrugged and walked back into his room. It was obvious that he really wanted to leave, so I threw on a pair of his boxers, the best jeans and shirt out of the selection, and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Sexy." I said, laughing. Calling his name, i walked out of Caleb's room. He came over quickly, excited to see what I looked like all dressed up. He smiled after he looked me up and down.

"You know, I don't think it matters what you wear. You're still hot as hell." He said, with a sense of pride. Maybe because I was his. I smiled at his comment.

"C'mon." I said to him, motioning my hand towards the door. "So, is this gonna be a regular club?" I asked hesitantly. I didn't read the description on the magazine, so I wasn't sure.

"Define regular." He replied.

"Like. Is it, you know, gay?" I asked, with a small stutter. He laughed and shook his head.

"Nope, can't guarantee there won't be any gay guys there though. Just don't talk to em." He said patting me on the shoulder, "or else I'll have to get nasty."

I smiled, so protective. We got in the car and left, and it only took a good 20-25 minutes to get there. When we did, it was the usual "club fa├žade" flashy lights, loud music, a few people making out, and grinding. I almost felt the need to pass out condoms. Caleb and I got right in for some reason. He chatted up the bouncer, I guess he knew someone that worked here. When we walked inside, the place was crowded, overflowing almost, but maintained a fun atmosphere. I looked through the crowd and smiled widely, already bobbing my head to the beat of the music. I took hold of Caleb's arm and leaned over towards his ear to whisper.

"Thanks babe." I told him. He turned his head and kissed me. I think I got red, not sure though. With that, he pulled me over to sit at the bar, and ordered a few drinks. (Non-alcoholic, obviously.) I watched Caleb sip from a cup of coke, and it would've smiled again, if I didn't have it still pasted onto my face. He looked over at me, downed the rest of his drink, then pulled me out to the floor. Desperately, I shook my head, but he wasn't letting go. It took quite a while, but we both got into the flow of the crowd, our movements matching theirs. He leaned in, and in that moment, he looked absolutely perfect.

"Tonight's gonna be perfect." He said with a smile on his face. I smiled back.

An hour later, we were sitting at the bar, getting ready for the next few songs, when Caleb nearly spits his drink back into the cup. I look at him and he gulps hard then grabs my arm. "We're leaving." He tells me, but I pull back.

"Why? I'm having fun!" I tell him, laughing. He shook his head and dragged me out back. "Stop Caleb! I wanna stay." I yelled at him, trying to pull his hand off of my arm, but his grip was too tight. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He looked around, then let go, and pushed me against the hard wall. I gasped, surprised by his action. "Caleb..." I said, unknowing. He looked at me through angry eyes. All I could think about now was all of the times he's fought me before we were together. I closed my eyes, trying to blink the oncoming tears back. Fuck my emotions. What's wrong with him?

"I try to take you out to a good night, and probly dinner afterwards. I try to have a good time with you, and have fun with you, and laugh and dance with you. But no. You fucking ruin it." He growled all of this through clamped teeth. His grip on my biceps hurt, and I tried to get him to calm down.

"Stop! What are you talking about!" I yelled, and he jerked me from the wall and turned me around, facing the inside of the club. He pointed all the way to the entrance, and I followed his finger. When I saw what he saw I almost passed out.

"What's up with that, huh?" He yelled at me, and I just shook my head in confusion. What was he doing here!? Caleb said his name before I could.

"Motherfuck. Seth..."
