The situations in all his stories are interesting and exciting, and he has a sensuous imagination. His mannerisms of repeating verb phrase after verb phrase becomes distracting, makes itself too obvious, arrives at the annoying, makes you impatient, as you read, as your eyes follow the text as they move from word to word, as they pass from line to line, as you go from paragraph, of the story. Less is more.
