GayDemon's review of Zip Productions

Zip Production specializes in some hard-to-find content - turkish and arabic amateur guys. If you've had as much trouble finding turkish and arabic amateurs as I have, you'll know how exciting it is to find a site in this category. It's been 2 1/2 years since our last visit to the site, so let's take a look inside the member area and see what's been happening since our last review.

The member area of Zip Production get right to it. The most recent updates are on the left, the site menu is on the right. The menu includes links to HOME, GALLERIES, VIDEO CLIPS, ZIPSHOP, MOVIES, LINKS and PAY PER VIEW. Let's check each link out in order.

GALLERIES is the picture section. Each set is listed by a preview thumb and there are a total of 39 photo sets listed, 19 more than on our last visit. All the guys do appear to be arabic or turkish, and there are both solo masturbation shoots and also some hardcore gay sex. When you click a preview thumb, a new window opens with thumbs to the pics in the set. When you click on a thumb, the big pic appears in the same window so you must hit back to get back to the gallery. You can also navigate from pic to pic using the arrows under the large photos.

The pics are 640x480 and appear to be vidcaps which means they were taken from the video. As is normal with vidcaps, these are lower quality than stills taken with a digital camera. The pics on Zip Production are a normal mix of quality for vidcaps, ranging from amateur quality to low quality pics. You will see blurring and other issues in some of these pics, but they do capture the action.

There are definitely some interesting jackoff shoots here and it's not hard to believe that some of these amateurs stroking their cocks really are straight guys from Turkey.

Next let's check out the VIDEO CLIPS. There are currently 57 videos inside Zip Production, each from one of their DVDs. This is 40 more vids than on our last visit. The videos are listed by preview thumb, 5 to a page. When you select a video, you will be taken to a popup where you can download the entire scene in either high or low quality. The videos are downloadable MP4s, which means they play in your Quicktime Player, VLC or iPod.

The movies have been re-encoded since our last visit. The "high" quality vids are shown at 640x480 with a bitrate of between 750k and 860k, and the low quality videos are shown at 320x240 with a slightly lower bitrate. While all of the videos are amateur quality, sometimes the smaller videos appear higher in quality because the bitrate is better for the size - the bitrate for the larger vids is a bit on the low side. The movies aren't bad to watch, but don't play quite smoothly, probably due to lower FPS.

ZIPSHOP is where you can go to buy the DVDs which the member area clips are from. MOVIES is pretty much the same thing - another opportunity to sell you their turkish and arabic men videos with no actual content. The LINKS are links to other paysites in other niches and the PAY PER VIEW link takes you to a page where you can pay by the minute to watch the Zip Production videos.

While Zip Production is definitely bigger than it was on our last visit, it certainly hasn't grown as fast as most sites. It's added an additional 40 videos and 19 photo sets in the past 2 1/2 years, and because the content isn't dated, there's no way to be sure whether the site used to update frequently and stopped or whether it simply doesn't update all that much but is still adding content.

The content at Zip Production seems to be exclusive, taken from their own line of DVDs, and the niche - turkish and arabic amateurs - is hard to find. The men inside the site are hot, and there's hardcore as well as solo material. The videos are downloadable full scenes, and while they could be higher quality, they're still quite watchable. And while this site doesn't update frequently, it has grown since our last visit. The bottom line here is that if you're looking for real turkish men, Zip Production is one of the very few sites around, so you won't want to miss it.
