Today we're revisitng a site called Young Recruits with a subtitle on the page "Young Sailors and Marines". The site has a reality page layout showing a few sample pics from each video as well as a description of the action in each movie. Some of these uniformed twinks stroke their cocks while other episodes show full on fucking and sucking. Now let's log in and see what Young Recruits has to offer their members!

The member area navigation is much better orgnized than on our last visit. At the top of the page you'll find the navigation bar with 3 links - Home, Young Recruits Video and Young Recruits Pictures. Below this is a list of the latest updates, show with dates. Next comes listings of the most recent updates and coming update shown with thumbs, model names and a very brief description. Underneath are the highest rated pic and sets and a search box, and that's it! There's no more DVD ads, no more forum and no more feeds.

When I first visited Young Recruits, despite their claims that their content was exclusive, it looked extremely familiar to me. After a little research, I found a listing of some of the actors in what appeared to be the same movies on a DVD. I won't mention the name of the studio here, but it's one of my favorite twink studios and they do good solo and hardcore work.

One place Young Recruits has made huge changes is in their video section. The site used to only offer streaming videos and only in clips. Good news is that now each of the 65 videos inside the member area is offered as a downloadable full scene in your choice of WMV or Quicktime. These are both shown at 640x480 with a bitrate of a little over 2 Mbps, and they look good. The site uses no DRM, so videos will play for pretty much all users and the videos you download will continue to play even after your membership has expired. The sound was good on most of the videos, although I found one where it wasn't quite as clear as on the others.

There are currently 36 pic sets of offered, which is 12 less than on our last visit - go figure! Some of the sets are digital stills shown at around 683x1024 at amateur quality or better, although there was just a hint of graininess in some of the photos. The other sets are vidcaps shown at 640x480, and these are average vidcap quality or better. There is a slideshow option if you prefer to keep your hands free and you can also rate each gallery. The photo section hasn't been updated in around 3 months, but the models here are everything they should be, so the pic sets are worth looking at.

I found some cute guys in the site. One of my favorite videos is of a couple guys named Josh Williams and Allan Fischer, both perfect all-american boys. They're both probably around 19 and with a hot boy next door look. There's also Jeff, who has a sort of strong bulldog look to him and a pic set of a guy named Scott Cruise who starts out in his full dress uniform and strips it off. Nice!

At our last visit, Young Recruits had some feeds but they weren't working. They've fixed that problem - well, sort of. The site no longer offers any feeds.

I had a couple issues with the site. One is the tour claims the site updates twice a week but as far as I can tell it only updates once a week. The other has to do with updates and amount of content. While the site's video updates seem to be added once a week, there were 48 videos on our last visit and there are 65 now, 14 and a half months later. On the other hand, all the videos have been re-encoded into 2 formats, and that probably kept them pretty busy. There are also 12 less pic sets than on our last visit, and I suspect that some of the videos may also have been removed at some point, and the collection is now growing again. We'll check back in a couple months and let you know.

Young Recruits features videos and pic sets of cute 18 - 24 year old guys in uniform. You'll find some hardcore gay sex here and also some solo action along with brief interviews. The overall feel of the models is amateur, and I'd consider most of the guys definite boy next door types. One major improvement since our last visit is that all of the videos are downloadble full scenes in your choice of WMV or Quicktime formats. There are currently 65 videos, with a new one added weekly, and 36 pic sets, which are no longer updating. If you like watching twinks and jocks in uniform stroke their cocks or suck and fuck, Young Recruits is worth checking out.
