Today we're taking a look at a new site called Young Recruits with a subtitle on the page "Young Sailors and Marines". The site has a reality page layout showing a few sample pics from each video as well as a description of the action in each movie. Some of these uniformed twinks stroke their cocks while other episodes show full on fucking and sucking. Now let's log in and see what Young Recruits has to offer their members!
The navigation on the main page is a little messy except for the links at the top of the page. They're pretty basic: HOME, VIDEOS, GALLERIES and FORUM. Below on the left is a welcome and an ad to buy DVDs followed by the latest updates, feeds and an ad. On the right is a list of the latest updates, each listed with a thumb and the date added. There is a contact link at the bottom of the page, and it appears that customer service is sometimes handled responsively on the forum.
When I first took a look at Young Recruits, despite their claims that their content was exclusive, it looked extremely familiar to me. After a little research, I found a listing of some of the actors in what appeared to be the same movies on a DVD. I won't mention the name of the studio here, but it's one of my favorite twink studios and they do good solo and hardcore work.
Young Recruits currently offers 151 videos - sort of. The videos here are actually broken into 2 -5 parts and the clips are offered as separate videos. When I counted the videos by model name, I discovered that there are actually 48 full scenes inside the site, which turns out to mean that the site has added 33 full scenes in the last 40 weeks. The vids play on a page in an embedded player and do not offer a download option.
The movies are shown nice and large at 640x480 but the streaming speed and quality vary from video to video. The first vid I watched looked okay at 934k. I watched one movie at 769k and another at over 1 Mbps. The best quality video I saw in the site streamed at 1.64mb but didn't look as good as a video with half that bitrate. I'm not sure why.
Since the videos here are streaming only, if you're on slower broadband and the videos seem jerky, you may have to let each movie fully load and then play it in order to get smooth playback. And this is definitely not a site for dialup users as no smaller sized videos are offered.
There are currently 48 pic sets of offered. The pics are mostly offered at good quality and are shown at a screen size of around 768x1024, but the newest pics are vidcaps shown at 640x480. There is a slideshow option if you prefer to keep your hands free and you can also rate each gallery. I did find a couple lower quality galleries. Kyle Mcdermott's pics look faded and some sets could have used more lighting when the photos were taken. Still, the models here are everything they should be, so the pic sets are worth looking at.
I found some cute guys in the site. My favorite is of a model named James Cherrey who is the perfect all-american boy. He's probably around 19 and he's got a hot boy next door look and the only thing I didn't love about his gallery is that it's only 14 pics. Other galleries have many more pics - 78 for navy boy Chuco, 34 for Tommy Reynolds and 137 for fuckbuddies Scott Cruise and Cameron.
Beside the military pics and videos, Young Recruits members get access to live feeds, ezines and a plugin via the link near the bottom of the main page. There are 6 live feeds including Dorm Boys, Beach Boi and Boys Condo. There are some ads on the feeds page but you will also find 2 portals, NYC Boys galleries and Dick Show. I liked the live shows and Dick Show has some hot videos but overall I found this collection of bonus material smaller than on a lot of similar sites. **NOTE** At the current time, Young Recruits is making some changes, and the feeds didn't work. They are expecting to have this problem solved very soon and I will let you know when it's fixed.
Young Recruits is features videos and pic sets of cute 18 - 24 year old guys in uniform. You'll find some hardcore gay sex here and also some solo action along with brief interviews. The overall feel of the models is amateur, and I'd consider most of the guys definite boy next door types. The videos themselves, while shown at a large size, look okay but quality varies from amateur to good amateur, and the pics quality also varies. If you like watching 18 - 24 year old guys in uniform stroke their cocks or suck and fuck, Young Recruits is worth checking out.

this site DOES not have downloadable vids and I was very upset with that. so if you are one who likes to download vids then don NOT join this site. sucks!!!!

Have to agree, I wish site owners would be more honest. 45 clips does not make 45 vids, plus I was hoping the bonus stuff would be more in line with the uniform theme, after all that's why it made me look.
