GayDemon's review of UKstuds

UK Studs is a site with two different focuses. Not only does it showcase horny guys from the UK in pics and videos, but it also includes its own personals section where members can chat and meet each other. While a lot of the models shown on the tour are not studs, they are attractive and look to be having a very good time. While the tour doesn't give us details regarding an update schedule or other specifics, it does let us browse all the models.

When you first log into UK Studs, you are not taken to the member home page. Instead you are taken to a page that asks you to create a profile. You don't actually have to do this, however - you can simply click "Home" in the links that run across the page. The actual member home page is fairly simple and includes a link to the latest model, their latest DVD for sale, contact info to get hold of site admin plus some other features.

UK Studs currently offers members 52 videos and 113 picture sets. While the site has been around for years, it hasn't grown that large because updates are sporadic. There was one video added last month, 2 added three months ago, 3 added four months back and none added last month or the month before. Luckily the site as very reasonable subscription prices and also offers its own personal ads.

All the videos are downloadable in WMV format and at least one other format. In the older videos the second format tends to be MP4, which is listed for PlayStation 2. I'm not sure that MP4s play on PlayStation 2, but they do play on iPod and your QuickTime player. The newer videos are offered in WMV and AVI format. Due to the way the videos are named, you may have trouble playing them. If that happens, don't worry -- is download videos and they should play fine from your hard drive. The movies at UK Studs are mostly offered at a fairly small screen size. All the videos were shown between 320x240 and 360x288. They look okay at their original size, but enlarging them to full screen showed a noticeable loss of quality. Most videos were also offered in low quality for those on slower connections.

The guys here are hot and some of them appear to be amateurs. Some truly are studs and some are just cute, fit guys. While the older videos let us hear the natural sounds of the room -- the models sighing, fabric rustling and all that -- the newer videos uses soundtrack that sometimes covers up any sounds but the music.

The photos range in size from 375x500 to about 400x600. While none of the photos are exactly large, the somewhat larger ones are the newest. Quality tends to be good amateur, and each photo set can be browsed as a thumbnail gallery or enjoy as a hands-free slide show. No downloadable ZIP files are offered, but each pic can be downloaded or by right clicking and saving.

The model section seems to be more of an episode index where you can browse by date, model name or model age. Most episodes have one model but some do have two guys together. Each episode includes a description, profile of the model, a link to the photo gallery and also a link if there is a video, wallpaper or postcard made for this episode. There's no actual link to photos in the main member menu, but you can check the Models section for pics as each episode comes with a set of pics.

While a UK Studs does offer a personal ads section, it doesn't seem to be all that busy. I browsed the ads by two countries -- UK and US -- and in both cases I found exactly 199 personals, and at least some are the same personals.

Did I find any issues inside UK Studs? One thing I found a little frustrating here was the navigation -- you can only browse the content one page at a time rather than being able to go to any page in that section. Other than that, the slowness of the updates and size of the videos was a little disappointing, but I didn't find any other real issues.

The thing I like best about UK Studs is the quality of the models. They're cute horny guys who have fun getting off in front of the camera. The videos are downloadable and there are pic sets, as well. UK Studs currently offers 52 videos and 113 photo sets but the site doesn't update that often or that regularly. In addition to the pics and videos, members also get access to personal ads, although there only seem to be a couple hundred of them. Still, if you like what you see on the tour I think you're going to like what you find in the member area, and the subscription prices here are definitely user friendly. If you like fit and athletic amateur guys from the UK, why not check at UK Studs and see what you think.
