GayDemon's review of Scally Sports

Scally is a term referring to young unemployed working-class guys in the UK, sort of slacker bad boys with their own culture and sneering attitudes, and a lot of us find them pretty hot. Scally Sports is a site showing amateur guys who look 18 - 24 years old. Presumably most of them are from the UK but the tour doesn't tell us about the guys or what's inside the site. There are some pics of some of the models, and they're not all scallies - there are plenty of English twinks, some of them pretty clean cut. Either way, we're talking college aged guys with mostly uncut cocks, so count me in!

Scally Sports has changed their navigation. On the right are the latest updates, "top links" and up and coming updates. On the left are links to the content by category - Foot Fetish, Solos, Duos and Groups, each section with separate links to pics and videos. There are currently 68 videos - 58 more than there were 3 1/2 years ago - and 191 pic sets. The dates on the videos indicate that the site would have added an average of one new video every 3 weeks, but I discovered something when I came back a few days later. The site had the exact same amount of solo videos - 22 - but the new videos were different ones and the dates all showed from the last week. On the other hand, there's 1 more duo video than there was.

The videos are offered in WMV format in your choice of downloadable or embedded versions. Videos range from 320x240 with a 512k bitrate to 720x576 at 1 Mbps, and quality ranges mostly from average to good amateur quality. All the videos are full scenes, but while the newer ones are normal, with playing times from 10 to over 20 minutes, some of the oldest videos are less than 4 minutes in duration. The sound is very quiet in the solo videos, but I think that's more because like most real amateurs, the guys are very quiet. All the vids are DRM-free, which is good news.

Some of the Scally Sport galleries contain digital stills, mostly shown at 600x800 at good amateur quality, and some contain vidcaps, most at 720x576 at low to average vidcap quality, so expect some blurring. Some of the oldest pics are lower quality, mostly due to poor lighting, and strangely they're also bigger. The pic sets can be viewed as a hands-free slideshow, but are not offered in downloadable zip files.

There are some scallies inside Scally Sport, wearing trackies, caps and trainers, but there's also a lot of twink boys who don't at a glance appear to be scallies. They are hotties, though, with European looks, smooth bodies and uncut cocks. They also seem to be amateurs, which suits the photography style perfectly. The older content could do with better lighting, but it does improve as we move forward. One thing worth mentioning is that there are only 3 group sex videos and 3 group sex pic sets, so perhaps instead of having 2 hardcore sections - Duos and Groups - it would make more sense to have a hardcore section that contains both groups and duos.

This site did have some issues. The one that concerned me the most is that the site seems to be rotating videos out of the member area, and probably rotating them back in later. That would explain why there are new videos in one section that has the same amount of videos, but another section has 1 more than it did. Next, the news/announcement page, where the updates should be, is blank. Some of the videos are actually watermarked from another site from this studio, so it appears that content is shared throughout their sites.

One thing I'd really like to see is a model index with profiles of the guys. For one thing, it would give the site a more personal feel. For another, some of the boys are hot, and I'd like to know more about them - where they're from, sexual orientation, what they're into.

Scally Sports offers hot Euro boys from 18 to 24 in a mix of gay sex, solo jerkoff and fetish videos. The site has a very amateur sensibility to it, the member area plain, but videos are downloadable, and there are 191 photo sets, as well. Updates are a grey area as there are only 58 videos in the past 3 1/2 years - a total of 68 videos - and while the dates show that there's 1 video added every day, some video sections don't seem to grow. On the other hand, there are some very cute uncut twinks, as well as some scallies, and they're all doing nasty things. If you like the boys on the tour, and don't mind that even though it updates, the site may not grow, Scally Sport is worth checking out.
