GayDemon's review of Satyr Films

Satyr Films says they offer brutal man sex and real raunch, and judging by what's offered on the tour, I have no argument with that description. There's dungeon action, throat and face fucking, fishhooking and some rough-looking sex on the tour, where you can find plenty of pics showing the action from a number of episodes. The tour doesn't make many claims - I guess they are letting the pics speak for themselves - but it does say the site updates weekly. The member home page is clean and simple. Near the top of the page is a search box followed by the three coming-soon updates and then the 6 latest updates. All are listed with a thumb, title and the dated added - or in the case of the coming-soon episodes, but no longer lists the dates the updates are added. At the bottom of the page are links to the bonus feeds. The pages have no banner ads, misleading text or other annoyances.

Satyr Films currently offers members 178 videos, 54 more than there were on our last visit a year and a half ago. These are shown in Flash format, the newer vids shown at 640x360 and the older at 640x430 at average to good quality. The videos are embedded and played smoothly for me, although they are not true streaming videos. There are no second formats offered and no downloadable versions are available, but no DRM is used which means that Mac and Linux users can play the vids. One thing worth mentioning is that some of the videos are really only half a video - parts 1 and 2 are listed as separate updates.

Each video comes with a small set of vidcaps with between 9 and 27 pics, although most are closer to 12 pics than 27. These are around 720x480 and look good for vidcaps - as good as amateur quality digital stills or even sometimes a little better. That being the case, it's a shame they aren't offered in downloadable zip files as they capture the action well - no surprise, since they were actually taken from the videos.

The men of Satyr Films don't really fall into a type, but most are masculine and either assertive and dominant or submissive, horny and passive. Most of the action at Satyr Films is pretty extreme, so subs may find themselves fisted, face-fucked hard, bound, barebacked or gangbanged. Backgrounds are dark, which adds a dungeon-like feel to the videos, and there's always focus on the cum after the cumshot.

Here's something new - feeds. Ten gay feeds including barebacking, hardcore gay sex and some man-on-man fetish action. These are the feed editions of some very popular sites, so while the videos aren't as large as the regular editions, the action is hot and these bonuses definitely add value for members.

The site does have some issues, although nothing major. First is the navigation through the videos - you can only go forward or back one page at a time, and since there are 23 pages of listings, this is a little annoying. The tour's claim of weekly updates doesn't seem to be true, as for some time content has been added every 9 to 10 days - hard to say exactly since there are no dates on the updates. And last, although not exactly an issue, I'd have loved to see downloadable videos here, but only embedded vids are offered.

Satyr Films delivers 178 exclusive videos of extreme gay action ranging from face-fucking to bareback gangbangs. From fisting and fingering to anal cumshots, the site shows men who are obviously very into dominating or submitting to being treated roughly and being used. The videos are not downloadable, but they are fairly good quality and use no DRM. The site upates about every 9 or 10 days, although the tour still claims weekly updates. If you're into extreme and BDSM content, and don't mind watching rather than downloading, Satyr Films is definitely worth checking out.
