GayDemon's review of RuTwinks

RuTwinks has a way with finding good looking Russian twinks and putting them in the middle of hardcore action. The member's area is rather simplistic, with recent updates in the middle and ads off to the side. It looks like there is a video and picture update at least once a day, so that alone got me pretty excited to see the rest of RuTwinks.

The video section was calling me first, so I made my way over there quickly. There are 235 videos in total, although they seem to update in 2 minute sections so there are some that aren't finished off yet. I settled on one enticing looking Russian twink named Marek, who seems to know his way around a good deepthroat scene.

The first annoyance came out of realizing that both the full movie downloads and the high quality video downloads both required you to buy tokens in order to get access. The second is that the clips I could download not only came in at 384x288, I had to battle it out with DRM a few times to even get it to work. The action itself is captured well, and although I'm not personally a huge fan of Eastern European twinks I do have to say that I found quite a few of the boys cute. Enlarging it a little bit doesn't result in too much quality loss, but I can't say that I would want to watch it full screen.

Although the DRM was damn annoying, one thing I really enjoyed at RuTwinks is the many different search options you can use to filter through sets. There are quite a few different ways you can find exactly what you want to see, whether you want to go by category, model name, or body attributes.

Surprisingly, the picture section is where I enjoyed myself the most. Not only are there 563 photo sets here, the quality on these pictures is pretty damn good. The sizes do vary, but even the oldest is 700x900 and the latest are 900x1400. It's not so much the size that caught my eye as how clear everything was - I could pratically count the individual strands of pubic hair on one guy's crotch. They do use the lightbox setup, which tends to bother me on galleries, but you can click for the original photo. There is a large amount of photos per set, going up to 250. However, like the videos they are uploaded in parts, so you might be waiting some time to see the full thing.

As far as extras goes, they do have free live voyeur cams, forums, and live chats. When I checked out the live cams no one was around, but the live chat was somewhat active. The forums are also small at this time, but given that the site seems to have been started in Jan 08 it will probably take some time to build up there. There is also a bonus site with more twinks, but you have to have the higher membership level to get into there.

RuTwink certainly delivers on showing off sexy Eastern Euro boys in hardcore and solo action. The DRM drove me absolutely nuts, as well as having to buy the higher quality versions of videos on top of the membership. The videos themselves were pretty hot, as were the pictures, and given this is a newer site they're doing pretty well on the size of their collection. Keep in mind that although the site updates every day, each update is only a single clip of a video or single page of a gallery. And here's hoping they kill the DRM sometime soon!
