Rear Stable has changed quite a bit since it's original review in 2005 - of course, three years can do that to you! The tour and member's area are pretty much identical, so you can see it for yourself before you even sign up. The Bunkhouse is the main member's area, with news, previews, updates, and bonus sites. It's incredibly busy and a bit overwhelming at first, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough.

The first stop was the Video Stable, which features full length gay DVDs right from their studio. Each video is divided up into several clips. You can watch a streaming flash video or download the wmv. Both are 640x480 and 700 kbps, but the WMV looks slightly better. The quality of the video was a bit lower than I was expecting, but it was still watchable. One nice thing with the video listings is that it has a thorough list on all of the models, linked to their respective pages. Of course, then we run into the DRM issue with the WMVs. Every time you want to watch a Rear Stable video, you have to plug in your username and password. Chances are these videos won't work after your membership has lapsed, and I hate having to be distracted by a login form right before I'm ready to get down to business.

If you want to go to a specific model, the Stallion Men section has exactly what you need. You can search through here for your model, finding out all of their sets and even commenting on why you like them so much.

There are 202 models in total, and they just have this total hunk look to them that is making me melt in my seat. There are updates every week, either a photo set, video, or both.

For whatever reason, there is no separate photo section, so you're forced to either go from the video links, or go through the model links to get to the pictures. Because of this, it's hard to get a really accurate number on how many sets Rear Stable has - models that have been around longer have 10+ sets alone, while new guys might only have 1.

The pictures look great, although the size itself is on the small side at 480x720 average. You can watch the photos in a slide show or just relax and click through everything.

The XXX Cinema section is full of gay third party feeds - 37 of them, to be exact. The Men Live section isn't what you think - I assumed it was just a cam site ad, but lo and behold, Rear Stable actually puts their Stallions out on live cam for hour long shows. There is a show a week, with a few weeks having two or three. Archived shows are also in this section, although they're lower quality than the DVD videos (320x240 1mbps) streaming only. Finally we have Music to Fuck To, which is a great little section that has porno soundtracks galore.

All in all, I really enjoyed Rear Stable. I think the navigation could be tweaked a bit, especially on the incredibly busy main page.I did hate the DRM, but other than having to toss in my name every few minutes I didn't get annoyed at anything. I just sat back and enjoyed the show, although one thing they could stand to fix is the DVD video quality.
