Raw Films is a site that is devoted to Euro twinks who go condom-free while sucking and fucking, hence the word 'raw' in the title. Raw Films is actually part of a larger studio that owns a huge library of bareback DVDs, so many of the videos on this site come directly that library. The tour offers preview videos and pics of some of the vids, and I must say the guys and the action are hot. We are promised DRM-free downloadable and streaming videos, a number of video formats, and 7 new scenes per week, which is also listed as weekly updates. Do these items hold true? Lets find out, shall we?

Entering Raw Films gives users a sense of familiarity as the tour area and the members area have the same look and design. But that is where the similarities end, as members get to the real deal. Upon logging in users have easy access to the latest updates, most popular scenes and most popular image galleries right on the home page. The top navigation and search field are right at the top, and stay constant no matter where the user goes within the site. The Scenes, Images and Models sections all feature multiple drop-down menus and search functions to allow users to quickly find what they are looking for. All of the videos are dated, and despite claims of daily updates, videos are generally added every other day,however, some days feature multiple video updates on the same day, sometimes videos are added 2 days in a row, and once this month there were 8 days with no videos added.

There are currently 114 videos located in the Scenes section, and considering these videos are taken from DVDs the quality is pretty good. The videos are offered in several formats - WMV, Quicktime and MP4 as well as in Flash streaming directly from the site. The newer large WMVs and Quicktime vids are shown at 854x480 at around 1.6 Mbps and the older ones are at 586x480 at around the same bitrate. Quality is mostly average, and some videos have subtitles. Some of the WMVs and Quicktimes may come in a smaller broadband size, and there are smallish MP4s of average quality, as well.

Flash is streamed at between 516x290 and 560x420, the newer ones being fairly good quality and some of the older ones a little blurry.

The photo galleries are located in the ‘Images section. Unlike the video collection, the picture collection is sparse - there are only 4 photo galleries that are currently available, with roughly 50 pics per gallery. The pictures are probably production stills, and are sharp and clear and shown at 533x800, making me wish there were more of them. The photos are available for download and there is also a hands-free slide show.
