Pride Vids is another player in the gay porn internet. The website showcases male-to-male action pictures, videos, live cams and bonus videos. The models featured are mostly straight looking and often well-built guys, and the age and ethnicity of the models varies. You can get a glimpse of these models on the free tour pages. There are some nice pictures offered in this section that readily exposes the models cocks. These sample photos are from the video section and picture gallery showcasing nude poses, solo masturbation, cock sucking and anal penetration. Unfortunately, these pictures are just thumbnails and clicking on them would get you to the sign-up page. Pride Vids offers potential members 100% certified gay content - whatever that means - and high quality videos.
The members' area gives you access to their entire database of gay porn. There is a portion on the members' page that shows the newest content added to the site. Clicking on the thumbnails takes you to the download page of the videos or the gallery if it happens to be a picture set - a useful feature for those who wants to see the updates first. If only they would also include the dates when the new files were added, it might tell us more. Then there is the feature "Next Update" which gives you an early glimpse of what other videos and pictures they would soon be adding, something to look forward to in your next visit. Lastly, the "Popular Link" part which offers a direct link to perhaps the most visited pages. All the features here are working links except for the DVD link – this is something they should try to resolve so as not to create a negative impression on the functionality of the site.
The Picture section is divided into Popular Picture Sets (8 sets on the section's main page) and Newest Pictures Added (4 sets on the section's main page) category. Each recent photo series in the first category features 40+ to a high of 180+ pictures – most are of medium resolution ranging from around 500 x 700 pixels to about 600 x 800. The second category has fewer photo sets and roughly has the same resolution as those in the first category. And as I mentioned before, it wouldn't hurt to include date tags to give its member an idea of how often they update their content.
On the left corner of the member page are more photo galleries being offered which are further categorized into Gay (male-to-male), Gay Ebony (black guys), Gay Bear (hairy men) and Bi-Sexual (male-male-female / male-female with strap on). This section definitely has more photo sets to offer, most of which are also of medium resolution quality. Some of the older sets are vidcaps, and lower quality than the other pics.
The Video section are also categorized like the picture section – Popular and Newest. Also on the left side, there is another link for Gay videos that offers approximately 468 videos. There is no streaming offered in this website. Most of the video files are split into smaller parts (file size varies from 33MB to 64MB with an average length of 5 minutes), which are readily available for download. Most of the videos are .avi files, which varies in resolution - usually 720 x 544, 608 x 352 and other medium quality or lower. Some of the videos look okay, and some are low quality. The oldest vids are MPGs which are shown at 352x240 and the clips are often as short as a minute each. All the videos are downloadable and use no DRM.
Both the Video and Pictures section has a rating system that enables its members' to give their ratings. The site also has a Add to Favorite feature which makes it easier to organize all the pictures and videos that you like in one page.
I do have a couple issues with this site. I did not have the chance to access the Live Video Cams as I was always getting a 401 error (access denied). I had the same issue with the Bonus section as the only feature in the Bonus section - a DVD archive - didn't work. Another thing that might be worth knowing is that there is a pre-checked offer on the join page, so be sure it's something that offers you before you join. And last, the content inside this site is the same content as in their other gay sites.
I personally think there are some issues to be addressed in this site. One notable issue is the 401 errors and broken link to the DVD section. The free preview page for the DVD section has lots of thumbnails of movies, but unfortunately it doesn't lead there. It has a big database of content, although none of the content here is exclusive - but there's a LOT of content here. The claim made on the preview page of offering "high quality videos" was certainly not met. Still, Pride Vids might be a good site for someone on slower broadband who's fairly new to surfing porn - after all, there is a lot of content and a lot of variety.
