The tour of My Shemale Tale offers an interesting theme. They say that they take members' shemale fantasies and stories and bring them to life as videos. The tour shows each episode with an email from the member telling his fantasy and on the right are pics from the videos and download info including length of video and size of download. The shemales look hot and the layout is interesting, so let's go inside and check out the member area of My Shemale Tale.
Logging into My Shemale Tale doesn't take you directly to the member area - it take you to a gateway page where members can log into any of the sites in the network. We'll look at them shortly, but for now I used the dropdown menu that says Our Exclusive Sites to log into My Shemale Tale although it was also available by scrolling down the page to the site listings.
The main member page takes you direct to the action. There's navigation links to various bonus sites and upsells across the top of the page and then we get right to the videos. There are currently 9 movies listed on 2 pages and except for the top video, the rest all seem to have been added in August (it's the end of November now), so I expect this is a brand new site. Each video is listed with a big pic and 3 small pics from the shoot, the model name, rating, a place where you can rate each movie plus the link to the video page.
Each video page pops up in a new window, so if you have problems you may need to turn off your popup blocker. The movies are available in high, which streams at 799 with a screen size of 512x384. There is also medium, which also streams at 799k but is shown at 320x240 and then there's low, which is 548k and 320x240 - not really that low, either. There's also an MPG for Mac users and those who prefer MPGs. The videos are fast to load with good sound and there are no options here for dialup. My big issues is that all the videos are shown in short clips with no full movie option.
The first video I watched is the last one listed. Each clip was a whopping 28 seconds for a grand total of 9.33 minutes and the video color was sort of faded looking. The sound was good and the cumshot was excellent, but overall I'm not a fan of clips and I certainly don't want to have to change every 28 seconds. Too bad this site doesn't offer full videos. Another video I watched was 44 seconds per clip for a total of just under 15 minutes for the entire video, another had clips of 34 seconds each and a fourth one was 1 minute and 10 seconds per clip for a total of 23 minutes of video. Considering every video on the tour claims to be 50mins 34sec, I'd say the tour isn't exactly accurate.
There were some other issues inside My Shemale Tale, too. One involved a video starring a tranny they refer to as Cynthia. Being a shemale fan, I instantly recognized "Cynthia" as pornstar Olivia Love. Olivia hasn't made any recent movies but I'm always happy to see her, even though it was obvious this was DVD content rather than shot from a member fantasy. Unfortunately every clip at every speed was missing so I was unable to enjoy the video. I also had problems from time to time when I'd try a new clip in some of the other videos and instead of a video, would get a page that said "Partial Content
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request." When this happened, I just hit back and tried again and always ended up at the clip I was trying to watch.
I'd say the most impressive thing about My Shemale Tale is the collection of 23 network bonus sites found in the "Our Exclusive Sites" dropdown menu at the top of the pages. There's also a DVD archive featuring 735 straight video scenes in a large selection of categories, each video available in several qualities. You'll also find "Bonus Sites" listed in the navigation links at the top of the pages, but these links actually lead to tours of other sites and I was unable to log in using my username and password so it appears these are actually ads rather than content.
If you're looking for a shemale site that offers a huge collection of straight bonus sites and a large DVD archive, My Shemale Tale is worth checking out. Keep in mind, though, that at the moment the site only offers 9 videos - well, 8 until they fix Cynthia's movie - and no pic sets and the price is fairly substantial for a small site. The movies are offered in several qualities and screen sizes with good sound but are only offered in rather short clips and aren't downloadable. Since I prefer full length downloadable vids, this site isn't to my taste but if you like what you've read here, you may want to visit My Shemale Tale and take a closer look.

Someone needs to teach the owner's some math. Clicks that don't add up to the total video length? Me feeling ripped.
She Males > female looking, with dicks is how I see this. If I wanted to see women without dicks I'd join a straight site. Insulting to have those as bonus material.
Just not worth any money.
