review of Muscle Niklas XXX, 2010-03-20

"Muscle Niklas and his friends" is nude and explicit amateur website of a 20 year old euepoean muscle man named Niklas. Niklas is a semi pro bodybuilder who not only strips and poses on his site, but also jacks off on video. I've seen him in his G rated site, but I think I'm going to like his X rated site a lot better, so join me as I log into Muscle Niklas and take a look around!

The member area of Muscle Niklas isn't particularly attractive, but it is very easy to navigate. The navigation links run across the top of the page. Beneath them is a welcome to the site followed by the most recent updates and then coming attractions. Both updates and coming attractions are listed by title and by small, and sometimes poorly lit, thumbs. Some are horizontal and some are vertical. This gives the page a very amateur feel to it. Bigger preview thumbs that were all either vertical or horizontal would improve the look of the page a great deal.

Muscle Niklas offers 35 videos. Each is listed by title and a small thumb. The videos themselves are offered as full scenes, most in both WMV and Quicktime format. I did find a couple that were Quicktime only, however. The videos are large, shown at a screen size of 640x480, and the bitrates range from around 1 Mbps to over 1.5 Mbps. Even so, due to issues with the lighting, most of the videos appear to be amateur quality. Duration of the vids ranges from under a minute to over 7 minutes each.

The videos play smoothly, and the sound is good - which isn't always a good thing. Niklas does posing to music playing in the room, which includes times when no song is playing or ambient noises occur. These vids would be greatly improved by removing the music and sounds and adding a high quality soundtrack as the music from Niklas' stereo comes off as low quality and tinny.

Niklas himself is definitely the beef. He's got a great physique that he's obviously spent many hours working out in the gym to develop. While those of us used to massive pro bodybuilders may not find him to be as big and buff as they are, Niklas is still a lot bigger than the average hunk. He's got a pleasant face and an upper body that, when flexed, has bulging biceps, shoulders and pecs as well as flaring lats. He jacks off in a lot of his videos, and in one he fucks his girlfriend. He also shaves his cock and balls in one video, and in a couple others he gets wet in the tub.

There are 60 pic sets that can be browsed in thumbnailed galleries or downloaded in zip files. The sets feature medium sized pics of around 533x800. The pics are average quality digital stills and show Niklas doing a variety of things. He poses outdoors and in, sometimes getting naked and at others keeping on posing trunks or shorts. There are also some sets of Niklas jacking off. These pics are vidcaps, which are frames pulled from videos rather than pics shot with a digital camera. For vidcaps these are pretty good quality - in fact, almost as good as the digital stills.

The photography and video work here is 100% pure amateur. Expect poor lighting, shaky picture from a camera guy with unsteady hands, and all the other stuff that comes with true amateur photography. On the other hand, I think this added a certain appeal to the videos. Instead of being yet another fake amateur site owned by a big company, this is a site that the model, Niklas, is obviously truly involved in. And for me, that's a big plus.

In addition the the pics and videos sections, Muscle Niklas has some more features. There is a section called Private. This is where members can find a brief bio, a little about Niklas' training and diet, and read about what he likes sexually. While this section could have offered more, it definitely let us get to know Niklas a little better. There is a Member Pics section that currently offers pics of only one guy. The Webcam page says Niklas will be doing shows as soon as he gets his new computer, but the page has said that for over 2 1/2 months. The My Friends section is ads for other sites and last is Travel, which shows Niklas' itinerary and what bodybuilding shows he is competing in.

Niklas of Muscle Niklas is a competing semi-pro bodybuilder, and he's also a porn amateur. His site offers 35 downloadable videos offered in Quicktime and WMV formats and also 60 photo sets that can be downloaded in zip files. Niklas usually appears solo, although he has a shoot where he boxes with another model and 3 where he fucks his girlfriend. The content is amateur quality, the price is reasonable, and the site is updated with 2 - 3 videos and 5 - 6 pic sets per month.
