GayDemon's review of Model Men

Model Men features a variety of guys in solo shoots ranging from jacking off to bondage. A lot of the guys are amateurs, and many are pretty cute. There are plenty of livingroom and bedroom shoots, with a few outdoor shoots, as well. There's also some focus on armpits - which are unshaved - and some foot fetish pics, as well. Neither the tour nor the member area are attractive, but they are easy to navigate, and that's what counts since getting to the content is the most important thing.

When you log into Model Men, you will find yourself in the photo section. That's because the site doesn't actually have a member home page - just a photo section and a video section. There are links to pay per view (called Video on Demand), a contact link and a links page that is mostly ads but also includes some free site listings. While the tour promises at least 8 updates per month of pics and videos, there have been no video updates in the last 3 weeks but the pic section has been updating from every other day to every 5 days.

There are currently 141 pic sets inside Model Men, although some seem to be parts 1 and 2 of the same shoots. The pics are shown anywhere from 533x800 up to 1024x1530, depending on the set. Some of the older pic sets are good quality while newer ones are average or good amateur quality. The quality the photos are offered at are higher than the quality of the photography. Many pic sets include some dark or oddly lighted pics that might make it hard to keep your mind on the model or the action. Also some sets, like Gino Cuffed, include a number of repetitious pics.

Model Men is a little lighter in the video section, with a total of 18 videos. These videos are in streaming Flash format with no downloadable versions offered. They're shown nice and large at around 730x512, although some of the videos are smaller than the player. The videos are quick to load and play smoothly, but I was disappointed to note that they weren't offered for download. Sound is very good in the videos I watched but visual quality was a bit below average - in some cases, more than a bit. The videos also have some lighting issues, but nothing too bad.

What confused me about Model Men is what the theme of the site is supposed to be. There are amateur guys jacking off and doing interviews, guys in bondage, foot tickling in one video I watched, guys in suits, average guys, buff guys. Let's call this an amateur site, since most - if not all - of these guys are new or fairly new to porn. There's a mix of regular masturbation and guys in cuffs or bound to the bed, and there's some showering and outdoor posing, as well.

If you're looking for a mix of jackoff and bondage content featuring a variety of mostly amateur dudes, Model Men delivers. While the site is definitely heavier on pics (with 141 sets) than on videos (with 18 non-downloadable videos), most of their content is exclusive. The pics section has been updating from every 2 days to every 5 days, although the videos haven't been updated for around 3 weeks. Still, while one could complain about the lack of bonus content and sporadic quality of the content and updates, Model Men has a very reasonable set of prices starting at $10 for a full month of access. And let's face it - if you like the guys on the tour and prefer pics to videos, Model Men is a good value.
