If you're looking for tons of gay porn videos, Men's Movies has a lot to offer - namely 816 full gay DVD titles offering over 3200 full scenes. We are talking about over 500 hours of videos. The tour allows us to browse every single DVD title, studio and category, so it's easy to get a very good idea of what the site has to offer. As far as features, the tour says members can create their own clips, offers unlimited downloadsand and says that the videos will play forever, which means no DRM.

The member area is pretty much like the tour, with the same easy navigation and features. If you've been in DVD archive sites before, you'll find this one a lot like the others - which is a good thing. In both the tour and member area, there's a handy search box in the upper left corner where you can check for keywords or pornstar names, although when I searched the term "uncut", I came up with 2 videos despite the fact that there are 9 videos in the uncut category and some more in the European section.

One thing I noticed about the site is that the updates stopped around 2 months ago. While this is disappointing, there are still over 800 DVDs. Also I was told by a rep from the site that updates are supposed to start again, so I'll keep my eyes out and let you know.

The videos at Men's Movies are WMVs that are offered in 3 sizes, and can be downloaded or streamed. The best quality video is called high quality and is shown at 480x352 with a bitrate of 758k. These are good quality at their original size, lose a little sharpness when enlarged to 200% and you'll notice a loss of quality if you enlarge them to full screen, but even then the videos are watchable. For those on slower broadband, the medium vids are shown at 320x240 with a bitrate of 378k and at their original size, these are sharp and clear. The low quality vids are small, shown at 176x144 with a 142k bitrate. These are perfect for ISDN users and good for very patient guys on dialup.

Good news here - the Men's Movies videos do not use DRM, so whatever you save is yours to keep and will continue to play after your membership has expired.

A feature I liked is that members can create their own clips. Each scene is presented in a series of small vidcaps and you click on one to set the start time and another to set the end time. If you only want to watch the start or end of each video, this is very handy. If you want to watch the full video, just click the first vidcap for the start and last for the end time, create your clip and download. It is probably worth mentioning that I was unable to stream the clips I made myself in Firefox, however this feature worked very well in Internet Explorer.

Some of the videos here are better quality than others. Why? Because not all DVDs are offered at the same quality. The videos in the Classic section are lower in quality than the other sections because the videos were shot on film and are older. Most of the videos here are at least average quality and many are good quality.

Some of the categories at Men's Movies have a lot more to offer than others. There are over 100 DVD titles listed in Twink, Blowjob, Ass, Muscles, Black and Hardcore, but there are under 10 DVDs each listed in Uncut, Surfers, Glory Hole and Bareback. There's only one real complaint I have about Men's Movies. There's a link at the top of every page that says SITE EXTRAS. That link does not lead to feeds and bonus sites but rather to pay per view, DVDs and sex toys for sale, and sites you must join in order to enjoy. There are also 2 live cam sites. You must pay for full nudity and action in either site, so I wouldn't consider them extras, although one does offer free non-nude video chat.

I like Men's Movies. I like the downloadable videos, the many ways to sort and search the videos, the intuitive navigation and the fact that this site does not use DRM. The movies could be bigger and higher quality, but they look good and the best quality vids are as good as what you see in a lot of sites. The bottom line is that Men's Movies not only offers a large collection of videos - they also give very good bang for the buck. There aren't that many sites where you can get access to over 3200 gay porn videos for $19.95, so even though the site isn't currently updating, there's so much there that I think it's a must-see for the guy who's into variety or large amounts of DVD content to browse and download.
