GayDemon's review of Mark's Live Cam

Mark's Live Cam is a single-model site featuring a guy named - you guessed it - Mark who does shows on cam in his home. Mark is a slender guy probably in his early 20s who's got a nice ass and apparently likes to jack off on camera. Since there's no bio of him, that's pretty much all we know about him personally, but we do learn about his site. Mark offers all his shows as downloadable videos, and a new one is added every 2 to 5 days. I didn't see anything about a live cam schedule and the tour doesn't mention much about live shows. The join page says that all videos are shown between 640x480 or 950x720 and that there are over 120 videos in the member area.

The member area is easy to use, the home page showing all the latest updates, each shown with a thumb plus a description, date added to the site and duration of the video. There's a date showing when the next update will be, but again there's no live show schedule. Under Live Webcam there's a pic of an empty bed, and while this might not be that unusual when it comes to live amateur cams, the date on the pic is from 4 days ago, so not exactly live. When you click the pic you aren't taken to a live cam, either - you're taken to a bigger version of the same pic.

The most recent videos are shown both on the member home page and on the VIDEOS page, but most of the videos are listed on the ARCHIVE page. I was disappointed that there are only descriptions and info given for the most recent shows shown on the member home page - I'd have rather seen that listing format throughout, but the archive page shows each update only by a small thumb with no info.

While the join page claims "Videos are 960x720 or 640x480", the first video I downloaded was smaller, shown at 320x240 @130k. The next one, also a bit on the older side, was also 320x240 but the bitrate was 200k. These videos were amateur quality but played pretty smoothly and as far as I can tell, the only sound on the older videos is a hissing sound. The next couple vids I downloaded were recent and was shown at a full 960x720 with a bitrate of 3817k (or 3.8 Mbps). While these videos were sharper and clearer, and they do have sound, they didn't play as smoothly and had more blur during fast motion. When I checked into why that was, it turned out the bigger videos are offered at 15 FPS, which isn't enough to support smooth motion. There are also a few videos offered as 640x480 MP4s that could use a higher bitrate and frame rate but were still watchable. All the videos are downloadable and use no DRM.

The videos I watched showed that Mark doesn't tend to talk on camera even in the sound videos, but there's a real sense of intimacy in watching him in what is obviously his bedroom at home. He DOES take member requests, which can be left on his forum or you can email him.

The pic section offers 47 galleries featuring vidcaps ranging from 320x240 to 640x480 in size. These vidcaps are about like you'd expect from home video - pic lovers will enjoy them because of the amateur quality not only of the pics themselves but also of the action. A couple things about the pics is that there don't seem to be any sets from the recent videos and that the thumbs on the galleries are probably the smallest I've ever seen. There are no slideshows or zip files offered.

I guess I had 2 issues with Mark's Live Cam. First is that here is that there doesn't seem to be a live cam. There's no schedule, no mention of when the next show would be and the live cam pic is from 4 days ago. The other is that nowhere in the site do we learn much about Mark. Considering that the site is all about him, I expect most members would like to know about who he is, what he likes, cock size, etc, but he doesn't talk to us in the videos and I couldn't find a bio anywhere, nor was there a blog which would have been nice.

Mark's Live Cam didn't seem to offer a live cam, but if you want to watch a real amateur in his own bedroom and bathroom as he strokes his cock and shoots his load, this site definitely delivers. There are also some shows with themes like feet and socks and at least one piss video. The site updates every 2 to 5 days, and all the videos are downloadable with no DRM. I'd have liked to see the more recent videos with smoother motion and the older videos with sound, but on the other hand, this is about what you'd expect from a real amateur. The site doesn't offer much in the way of extras - just a forum with a few posts, although you can talk to Mark on the forum. The bottom line - if you want to watch real home videos of an amateur guy jacking off at home, Mark's Live Cam is worth checking out.
