Male Unit is a porn network offering members access to 16 gay and one bisexual sites. There are four twink sites featuring smooth, slender boys from 18 to around 25 years old, some of whom are porn stars who have worked with producer Afton Nils - guys like Turk Melrose, Zach Randall, Sean Corwin and Winter Vance. Good news is that before the network stopped updating, all the videos were remastered. They're MP4s sized at 640x480 at fairly good amateur quality, and they're full scenes that can be streamed or downloaded. There's also a smaller size MP4 offered for those on mobiles that plays on iPhone, iPad and most portable devices.

The network also offers over 2500 picture sets - 2684 sets of screencaps (one for each video) and 207 sets of digital stills. The digital stills are sized from 600x800 to 1200x1600, depending on age. Some appear to have been shot on film, some are digital, and most range from average to good amateur quality, also some appear to have been a little over-sharpened. The screencaps are sized at 720x480 at below average to average quality. All the pic sets can be downloaded in zip files or you can save each pic individually.

As mentioned, the content here is from DVDs, and you can browse all the videos, browse them by site or by DVD title. Members also get access to over 8000 straight DVDs, each from their own network. It's worth mentioning that while the gay and tranny networks have stopped updating, the straight network is still adding new content - they've been adding new DVDs every day.

The site does have some issues. There's a pre-checked offer on the join page that signs joining members up for a second member site as they join if the offer is left ticked. Trial members get limited access to the site's content, and trial memberships recur at $10 more than the cost of a regular monthly membership. Trial members must pay a $1 processing charge for the "free" trial membership. There's also a pop-up that may appear on the tour. Last, as mentioned, the network no longer adds new content.

One last thought. While some of the content here is fairly recent - added in the last couple years - some of the videos here are from 6 to 10 years old. You could look at this two ways - first, the content isn't very fresh. But on the other hand, you get to enjoy twinks and porn hunks in their prime, including some favorites.
