Lost in da Hood is not your average porn site. This reality style site that shows ghetto thugs grabbing guys off the street, throwing them in a van and fucking them. The site has two tours, and if you're on broadband, be sure and check out the broadband tour. It's got a video intro with music and it's very much worth seeing. If you like black dick and the gritty, violent side of the ghetto, Lost in da Hood is going to blow you away!

The member area of Lost in da Hood is pretty typical of a reality site, and it's very easy to navigate. There's no filler, no intro, no confusing layout or advertising. When you log in, you will find yourself looking at a page with two movie episodes listed. Each episode of Lost in da Hood has a description that is written a little in the style of a police report. The listings show 6 pics from each video as well - sort of a preview of the video. There are two episodes listed on each page.

The last video listed on the last video page is actually a coming attraction. I thought it might be better to show this on the first page.

When we first reviewed Lost in da Hood over a year and a half ago, the site was new and there were only 15 episodes and 1 coming attraction. It's now over 18 months later, but the site still has 15 episodes and 1 coming attraction. Considering that they obviously shot this episode shown in the coming attraction, it's odd they never bothered to use it as an update.

Although there aren't many episodes, the videos are as good as the tour made them seem. If you want to see rough black thugs throw helpless non-ghetto guys around and force them to suck dick, you're going to love these videos. I watched one guy get taught a lesson by being forced into the van and then having to suck a big black dick. An innocent bystander gets taught the meaning of the ghetto when he is thrown into the van and then taken to somewhere to be fucked in the ass.

Let's talk about the quality of the videos in Lost in da hood. The movies in Lost in da Hood come in 3 sizes - 256k, 512k and 1024k. You can choose to download the first two sizes or simply stream them into your media player. The 1024k videos you must download in order to watch.

The videos are actually a little better quality the site claims. The 1024k videos stream at 1146k and are shown at a screen size of around 640x480. They look good at this size and still look good when enlarged to 200%. The 256k vids streamed at around 350k and were shown at a screen size of around 320x240. The videos I watched had only one problem - they were not de-interlaced. What this means is sometimes during rapid motion, instead of seeing either the object in motion or something blurring, you will see lots of tiny lines where the motion is. Unless you're very picky, you probably wouldn't even notice this but it is worth mentioning.

Lost in da Hood uses DRM (Digital Rights Management) to protect their videos. That means for each video, you must input your username and password and receive a license to watch the video - then you press play. The catch is that if you save the videos, they may not play after your membership is expired.

The DRM wasn't usually a problem - it only took seconds after inputting my username and password into the DRM form in my Media Player and I was playing the video. One annoying thing about the videos, though - when I downloaded them and got the license through the DRM, the movies played fine from my harddrive. But finally I couldn't get one video to play - my media player kept saying "acquiring license" and after I tried several times, I was told "Daily license limit exceeded for this content".

One problem I did run into was if I tried to fast-forward a broadband video for more than a few seconds, I had to wait an extremely long time for the video to start to play again and from then on it was choppy as it played and never seemed to fully "catch up". I'm not sure if the DRM caused this problem or another issue with the videos but I have never had this problem with videos from any other site.

I had an unusual issue with the links in Lost in da Hood. The downloadable videos say to right click the links, but when I tried to right-click some of the links, I got a popup that said "You may only left click this link" which made me chuckle. That mostly happened on the 256k video links. After this happened, I was unable to click any links on the page including NEXT or PREVIOUS till I either hit back or reloaded the page.

If you're looking for a thug site that shows black roughnecks grabbing guys right off the street and forcing them into sex, Lost in da Hood definitely delivers the goods. The videos are good quality, most are well-plotted and the gangstas have that feeling of danger that makes this site so effective at conveying the fantasy. It's too bad the site is small and doesn't update, but if black thugs in action turn you on, I recommend that you check out visit Lost in da Hood!
