The tour of Leather Bang shows a mix of previews, some of which feature guys in leather having sex and some of which also show BDSM/dungeon related activities. If you're either a leather fetishist or into the leather lifestyle, the text on this tour may have a generic feel to you - it did for me. At the top of the page is the phrase "Barebacking With The Rough Boys", which hopefully gives us an idea of what to expect from the videos, but the guys on the tour are mostly pornstar types - Jeff Palmer is among them - so while they're not all that rough, they are definitely MEN, not boys.
The first thing I noticed inside the member area is that this site hasn't updated in months. It was easy to spot as there are 5 episodes on the page, laid out in the same way as the tour with several pics from the movie, a brief description, names of the guys, the running time of the video - plus the date easch episode was added. Below these episodes are links to more video pages followed by some bonus sites, an ad and support links.
There are 39 videos listed inside the site, but the links to the last few video pages are missing. If you run your curser over the area to the right of the page numbers, you'll discover some links you can click even though the page numbers don't show. Some browsers may show an error where each graphic is missing - if yours does, you can click on the errors. There are 8 pages of video listings total at this time.
The videos are available as clips and full vids in both WMV and MPG format. The older videos come in 2 sizes - called Hi and Lo - but the newer videos only come in a single size, called Hi. All the videos, clips and full scenes, can be downloaded or streamed and use no DRM. The high quality movies are shown at 640x480 at a bitrate of around 1.04 Mbps. They look good, although not great, and are okay at full screen but lose some sharpness. The low quality movies are shown at 320x240 with a bitrate of around 287k, which is good for those on slower broadband but is pretty hefty for dialup users.
As far as action goes, some of these videos are definitely better than others but mostly they didn't do it for me. Other members apparently felt the same way - each video can be rated from 1 to 10, and I found several videos rated 1 or 1.5, one rated a 1.75 and another a 3, and the two highest scored videos I found rated 5 and 5.5. The newer videos are often not rated at all.
These videos don't look new, but also don't look old enough to be vintage. While some of the guys are rough-looking or muscular or both, a lot of the guys are - not fat, but somehow soft, like they're not too heavy but are not at all athletic. This is pretty typical of mid-90s or older porn, but sometimes amateurs have that look, too. The settings scream "studio" rather than dungeon to me, and although the tour offered us "Barebacking With The Rough Boys", some of the videos definitely used condoms. Some of the guys wore leather gear like chaps and harnesses, and I did find some whipping and lots of fucking and sucking, although a lot of it seemed to me to lack enthusiasm.
Members get access to 4 bonus sites, but when I clicked the links to go to the sites, I got a page that said "MySQL Error [Code: 5]: No database selected." but I was able to type in the web addresses of the sites and log in through their tours. Two of the tours are shot in Brazil and feature a reality theme and sex with brazilian guys, there's a DVD archive and a guys-over-30 site. While these sites aren't really related to the leather theme of Leather Bang, they do add values for members who like all sorts of porn.
With just under 40 videos, no updates and downloadable videos that, while good quality, doesn't really deliver (judging by my own opinion and the member scores), Leather Bang isn't a site I'd recommend strongly. One other caveat - if you're not very web savvy, you may have trouble navigating to the pages that don't have clear links showing. On the other hand, if the guys and settings on the tour turn you on, you may find this site worth joining.

Seemed just too faked for me, certainly felt okay at the first, but as you say, it just doesn't come across mean or nasty enough to be real. The videos sucked as far as I am concerned. Just not what it said.
