At first glance the tour of Kristian Models shows mostly muscle hunks. Scroll down and you will see hot hunks and bodybuilders but there are also some average amateurs as well as some slender twinks. As far as the claim that these are all pornstars, I see a few familiar faces, but not that many. I'm not sure what Kristian Models' specialty is because their text offers us Playgirl models and pornstars but their models are often neither. Still there are 128 thumbs of models shown on the tour and that's a lot of cock. Let's go check out the member area.

The main member page is not well organized. At the top of the page members get access to a graphic of part of a recent magazine shoot done by a Kristian Models photographer. A little way down the page is the menu, done in three lines of text in the center of the page. Two sections, Black on White and End of the Line, are actually each only a single gallery, Black on White being black and white pics and End of the Line showing only the rear view and butts of the models. Galleries and Archived Models is where the pic sets are and listed last is Movies. There is a collection of random jokes inside Jokes, the letter section is missing.

I liked the section called History, which tells the history of Kristian Models, how the company and the site came into being. This section not only tells all but also includes some pics to illustrate the info. Good stuff! Beside these, there is a section called A Denim Story which shows how a demin vest became almost the trademark of Kristian Models. There are individual pics of plenty of different models wearing a demin vest here.

There is another section where you can see pics called Prelims. These are mostly test shoots, and most of the sets are very small although a few are pretty good stuff, like Dave Shelton. Several of the prelims shoots are missing but there are still over 110 shoots in the prelims section of all sorts of guys from stocky to muscular to average to twink boys.

Below all this stuff on the main member page is the updates. There is only 1 video listed in the latest updates, and many or most of the pic updates are actually small galleries with an upsell to another site. These galleries don't include the ends of the shoots but say you have to join Bad Puppy to see the cumshots or other endings. I know the site membership is inexpensive, but even so I feel that this is very disrespectful to members considering they paid for their membership to Kristian Models.

There are 119 models on the page listed when you click galleries. Each is shown by a preview thumb and name and there are only two listed per row. Three of these models also include videos. Each model's page includes a brief profile on the right above his thumbs. When you click a thumb, the pic opens on the right side of the page. The Kristian Models pics are shown a little on the small side, mostly around 382x625. Quality of most of the pics is average and for the most part the pics look okay.

Words fail me when it comes to describing the movie page. There are 25 clips listed on the page, ranging in duration. The shortest working video is 24 seconds and the longest video is just over 6 minutes. The very shortest listed video - 10 seconds - is missing. There is a 29 second video, Kyle James, that is improperly encoded and instead of showing a hot hunky guy, plays a series of psychadelic colors like a 60's disco.

The videos are mostly MPGs but there are some WMVs as well. There are a fair smattering of videos shown at an underwhemling 160x120 where a few bigger ones are shown at 480x480 and the rest are shown at 352x240. A lot of the videos are shown at dialup quality but some others aren't, which makes the entire video selection at Kristian Models seem totally random.

Download speed for the movies isn't exactly slow but it's not exactly blazing fast, either. I found one video - Treavon - that says it's 160x120 but in reality is among the best quality videos on the page, shown at 320x240 and streaming at 521k. Even so, the action is jerky and the video is overlit. It's really a shame as the videos are all exclusive.

Since they describe a 6 minute 48 second video as "very long", it is obvious - if it wasn't already - that the owners of Kristian Models are way behind the times. The strange thing is that one of the videos I downloaded from the gallery page is 13 minutes and they didn't break it into clips yet videos under half its size are considered large.

While some of the men inside Kristian Models are pretty fucking hot, the video quality is definitely not. The lighting on most of the videos is poor and some of the videos have no sound. A lot of models are overlit, too. The best thing about the videos is that many of them really do seem to be behind the scenes. You can hear the photographer (when the movies have sound) talking to the model, telling him what to do and what looks good.

Something that annoyed me is their claim that they used a "home video camera" to capture the "authentic quality" of the scenes. You can get a video camera for under $300 that shoots much better quality than the videos on this site. Maybe some of these videos are really old, before camcorders were available, and I really hope that Kristian Models will upgrade their camcorder soon.

I think the idea behind Kristian Models is good but the execution could use some work. Bigger photos and longer, higher quality vids would really help the site along. As it is, because it's so inexpensive to join, if you want to see a large collection of medium-sized pics of the men on the tour, it's probably worth your while.
