GayDemon's review of I Go Both Ways

They Go Both Ways is a loaded nonexclusive site brimming with videos from DVDs. It is huge. It covers many niches, the great preponderance of which are for straight audiences although there are some 92 bisexual videos that would normally - on its own - comprise a reasonably sized site. There are some very sexy examples of M/M/F situations, oozing with some same-sex scenes giving a high order of arousal. The girls are just a bit trashy, to be honest, which could be a plus, and there is ample beefcake and a definitely pleasing amount of male-on-male activity. As I said, the site is huge, but if you're here looking for actual bisexual DVDs, as the site title indicates, you will find 30 titles at the present time, one having been added in the last few days. The site does seem to update at reasonable intervals but only one bisexual DVD has been added in the past several months.

The navigation at They Go Both Ways is supremely simple, in general. The Main Menu consists of Home, DVD's, Videos, Pornstars, Studios, Dating and Cams. The "studios" category lists those studios who produced the works listed. The Pornstars category is somewhat interesting inasmuch as the long, long list of names is alphabetical. If one is seeking a particular name, it should be easily found. The latter two links go to sites you must pay to fully use.

There are two ways to browse the videos - by DVDs and by Videos, the videos being full scenes from the DVD titles. The fact is, in spite of how they are isolated in the Main Menu, the DVD section borrows liberally from "videos" and vice versa once the items come up on screen. In a sense, it is hardly necessary. To the right are categorical tags, most of which relate to heterosexual sex. I clicked onto the "gay" tag there and was referred to a lesbian video. One. the site does include over 3,300 DVD's and some 16,000 videos.

Generally, the DVD's and the videos as well are of fairly good quality - not true DVD quality but not bad. They stream pretty much immediately, although a few took just a bit of time buffering. Each of the 92 bisexual videos and 30 DVD listings contain scene breakdowns, usually in 3's. They typically run for an hour and a half, in total, with a very loose average 30 minutes per scene.

The Flash screen size is 640x480 and there is a menu below the screen for opting for 3 categories of streaming in either Flash or WMV modes. There are also 5 categories for downloads in MP4, MPG and the 3 WMV rates. The downloadable videos are not even close to the bitrates given on the site, but they are still pretty good, and are mostly slightly sharper and clearer than the Flash versions. It's probably worth mentioning that the smallest WMVs, called 300 kbpsMedium quality are in reality under 100k and are perfect for dialup users.

I was unable to find any picture galleries, and I looked. For some this is a decided disadvantage so it bears mentioning.

Altogether, this site is simply massive. The gay section is virtually nonexistent but I must give full marks to the bisexual section and the many other sections. They do deposit new content at a fairly consistent - if almost unknowable - rate and there is, as I mentioned, a reasonable library already intact of DVDs and videos. Most of the videos in the bisexual section are M/M/F - that is, two guys and a gal - and there are a few orgies deliciously covered as well. Pretty naughty stuff and much of the male and male stuff is definitely steamy and, as mentioned above, quite arousing.

I definitely had some issues with this site. For one thing, it's not really a bisexual site - it's a huge DVD archive with 30 bisexual DVD titles adding up to 91 full scenes. There are over 10,000 scenes, but most are regular straight sex in a variety of categories. It's also virtually impossible to know how often the site updates, although it seems possible that the claims of adding a new DVD every day are true. The problem here is that you can only see updates for each category - there's no way to simply view all the recent updates in all categories.

They Go Both Ways offers just over 90 primarily M/M/F bi videos from 30 DVD titles plus thousands of non-bisexual videos. If you are looking for exclusive content, high quality videos, or regular bi content updates, this may not be the site for you. If, however, your taste goes to a combination of bisexual events and scenery, you love tons of porn variety and you don't mind that while the site updates fairly frequently there's only been one bisexual DVD added in several months, then They Go Both Ways is worth checking out.
