GayDemon's review of Hazzard Central

Johnny Hazzard is a pornstar who portrays regular guys or guys who are a little rough or from the wrong side of the tracks. Lean, cute and tattooed with a bit of facial hair, he seems like a horny, upbeat person. While he hasn't done that many movies, what he has done has won awards for his porn scenes including group scenes and duo scenes, and he's worked with noteworthy porn director Chi Chi La Rue.

When you log into Hazzard Central, you'll find a welcome from Johnny on the right side. It makes the site sound exciting and packed with content, but that is not the case. What you will find inside this site is 12 photo sets and 11 videos, most of which aren't hardcore or even nude. You'll also find a bio of Johnny Hazzard plus links that lead off the site to his store, his blog and a couple other things. There's no update schedule or dates so there's no way to know if or when the site will be adding more content.

The videos here are Flash and are shown on a popup window in an embedded player. There are 3 sizes - the large videos are shown at around 720x470, he medium are shown at the same size but lower quality and the small vids are around 376x234. All 3 sizes have good sound and load very quickly on 1.5 Mbps broadband.

In addition to the videos, Hazzard Central also offers 12 photo sets. Three of the sets are hardcore, 1 is nude and solo, 1 - called B-Rude by Boy George - does show some cock but is not sexual and the rest are glamour shoots that show a little cock and ass here and there.

The pics are presented in small galleries with the main pic on the left and thumbs on the right. When you see a main pic you like, click the pic to go full sized, which is 600x900 and average quality.

The offsite links that lead to Johnny's blog and his "100 Things" page are definitely worth checking out. Johnny's writing style is interesting and he has a lot to say. There's plenty of porn industry insider stuff, things about Johnny's life and even things touching on religion and philosophy. And his 100 Things include quotes, personal perspective. Even though it's small, I admit that I liked the site. It's unusual, featuring videos of things like Johnny talking to the camera in the snow as well as some hardcore and nude content. What I think would improve the site would be a thumb of the next update along with the date we can expect it to be added. I'd also love to see a live show added, but at $7.95 per month, we probably can't expect that.

Hazzard Central is pornstar Johnny Hazzard's personal site, and only recently did it become a subscription website. There's a lot of Flash in the tour, and the videos are Flash, as well. They can't be downloaded, and most of them aren't porn, but they are large and fairly good quality. The 12 pic sets are sexy and the pics can be blown up to 600x900. While the site is on the small side, it's also very inexpensive to join. And though a lot of the movies aren't actually porn, they have a lot of personality and maybe a celeb or 2.
