Hard Models is an amateur site that seems to focus on solo amateur guys. The tour is attractive, clean and well laid out, and it includes a preview thumb of all the models in each section including the exclusive section. The exclusive models appear to be latin and mid-eastern amateurs - the tour says they are mostly straight - but we don't really learn anything about the guys except their names. We are promised that the movies are offered in the highest possible quality, but judging by the sample video, I'm not expecting that promise to be fulfilled. Still, if you love real amateur guys jacking off, the exclusive guys here look pretty hot, so let's take a look inside Hard Models and see what we find.

The member area is a little more minimalist than the tour but it's pretty easy to use. There are navigation links across the top of the page with 3 sections listed - Exclusive Movies, Solo Movies and Models as well as a support section. The latest update for each section is listed on the page, although without a date that would tell us when the site was last updated, and you'll also find a link to download Quicktime Player and a DivX codec. That's pretty much it so let's check out the content.

There are currently 58 exclusive movies and 22 solo movies. The solo video section features 22 non-exclusive videos you may or may not have seen before in average quality MPG clips so I'm going to focus on the exclusive movies. The exclusive vids are solo videos and the models are mostly a mix of amateur guys, with latin guys, some arabic amateurs and some guys who seem to be eastern european, as well. There are a lot of uncut cocks here, which is always a plus, but be aware that a lot of these videos seem to have no sound. Guys who love watching true amateurs masturbate and get themselves off will like watching the movies as they really are hot, and the amateur camera work makes sense for these videos, but the lack of sound was a real turnoff for me.

I was surprised to discover that depending on the age of the videos, you may find yourself looking at completely different video formats and the way they are offered are different, as well. The newest vids are offered in your choice of WMV or Quicktime format. Both play directly in their respective players or can be downloaded. The WMVs are available at 2 speeds - 1400k and 450k, both shown at 320x240. The 1400k movies aren't as good quality as you might expect. While they look okay at 320x240, if you enlarge them they lack the sharpness some sites have with a video of that streaming speed. The Quicktime version of each of the newest videos comes sort of in between the 2 WMV speeds in quality.

The medium aged videos are offered in AVI format in short clips only with no full download offered. Most are under a minute each and some are under 30 seconds each. These movies are shown at 320x240 and the quality is amateur - these are not videos that look good full screen. And the oldest videos are shown in Quicktime format, each video shown as short clips in an embedded player on a popup or you can download each clip to your harddrive from the popup. These clips are fairly sharp and clear but they play a little on the choppy side and the video recorder work is on the primitive side compared to the later videos.

Of course, all of this is almost mute since the videos are offered in alphabetical order rather than by date, and the largest amount of the videos are offered as several short clips in AVI format.

What Hard Models is really missing for me with their exclusive content is anything about the models. There are no profiles telling us each guy's age, cock size, what he does for a living. There is no description from the cameraman telling us what the guy is like or how the shoot went. Things like this make a site feel more personal. If you're not looking for personal, you may like the direct way that each of these videos wastes no time on stripping or interviews but gets right to the guys getting their cocks hard.

While neither the exclusive movies nor the solo movies sections come with galleries, there is a third section here called Models. This isn't a model index as I had expected. It's non-exclusive pic sets listed by model and most of these sets are a bit older and feature a variety of guys including both amateur and pro models. These photo sets are also all solo and shown at average porn quality in medium to fairly large screen sizes depending on the set. If you haven't seen these photo sets before, this section is probably worth a look but neither the pics in the Models section nor the non exclusive vids are really the same type of amateur content offered by the exclusive movies.

The best part of Hard Models is the exclusive guys. These are definitely some real amateurs, some hairy and some not, but mostly unshaved with plenty of latin and some arabic type guys, as well. While the masturbation is hot, many of these videos don't have sound for the most part the videos are offered in short clips. The non-exclusive content is not the same type of guys offered with the exclusive guys but does offer more bang for your buck. While Hard Models might benefit from some amateur j/o feeds, the price is reasonable for the amount of exclusive content the site provides. If you don't mind that these videos don't always offer sound and that there is no way to know for sure how often this site update.
